The most common arrival mistake at this hotel has nothing to do with traffic. There are two Marriott properties on Fallsview Boulevard, almost opposite each other: the Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa at 6740 Fallsview Boulevard and the Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls across the road at 6755. Rideshare drivers mix them up, guests type the wrong one into a map, and a couple with four suitcases ends up crossing the boulevard on foot at 4 p.m.

This guide is for the first of the two, the Hotel & Spa at 6740, with its 432 rooms and suites that the owner's site describes as all facing the Falls, plus the Burning Springs Spa, Morton's Grille and the Terrapin Cafe. When you book with NiagaraFallsLimo.net, the street number goes into the booking, so the chauffeur pulls into the correct driveway the first time.

How do you get to the Marriott Fallsview from Toronto Pearson or Buffalo?

The Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa, 6740 Fallsview Boulevard, is about 122 km (76 mi) from Toronto Pearson, usually 1 h 30 – 1 h 50 by car, and about 43 km (27 mi) from Buffalo Niagara airport, roughly 45 minutes plus the border. NiagaraFallsLimo.net shows a fixed fare for either transfer in its online booker before you pay.

Arriving from Toronto Pearson

Most international guests land at Pearson. Pearson's rules for pre-arranged cars matter here: pre-booked chauffeurs meet passengers at Terminal 1 Door A or Terminal 3 Door A, according to the airport's pre-arranged services page. If you add meet & greet in the booker, the chauffeur waits inside arrivals with a name board instead.

Flight tracking is standard on airport pickups, so a delayed landing does not leave you stranded. From the terminal, the drive runs west of the city on Highway 427 or the 403, joins the QEW and follows the Lake Ontario shore through Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton and St. Catharines. In Niagara Falls, the chauffeur leaves the QEW for the Fallsview area and approaches the hotel along Fallsview Boulevard. Our Pearson airport transfer page has the detail by terminal, and the sibling post on Terminal 1 vs Terminal 3 meeting points helps if you are not sure where you will land.

Arriving from Buffalo and crossing the border

Visitors from the US often fly into Buffalo Niagara International. The shortest drive is about 43 km, but the honest time includes a border crossing, and nobody can promise how long that will take. The chauffeur chooses between the Rainbow Bridge (closest to Fallsview), the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge and the Peace Bridge based on the live wait times at the moment you leave the airport.

What every passenger needs: their own valid document. CBSA recommends a valid passport for US citizens, who may otherwise show proof of citizenship such as an enhanced driver's licence (CBSA travel documents). Visitors of other nationalities need a passport and whatever visa their nationality requires; an eTA is generally not needed for land entry. Keep documents in your hand luggage, not the trunk. The Buffalo airport transfer page explains the pickup at BUF.

The drop-off: what happens on Fallsview Boulevard

Fallsview Boulevard is the ridge-top street lined with high-rise hotels above the Horseshoe Falls. At check-in time on a summer afternoon it is busy with tour coaches, hotel shuttles, delivery vans and pedestrians crossing to the casino. A few things make the arrival easier:

  • Give the number, not the brand. "6740 Fallsview" avoids the twin-Marriott confusion.
  • Pull in, do not stop on the boulevard. The chauffeur uses the hotel driveway so bags come out at the doors rather than on the curb lane.
  • Bell staff take it from there. Your chauffeur unloads to the bell desk and does not need to park, which is why this arrival takes minutes rather than a half-hour hunt for a space.
  • Early arrival? Standard check-in at most Fallsview hotels is in the late afternoon. If you land at dawn, the hotel can usually hold bags while you walk down to the Falls.

The Falls Incline Railway, a short funicular operated by Niagara Parks, links the Fallsview area with Table Rock Centre at the brink of the Horseshoe Falls, so you rarely need a car once you have checked in (Niagara Parks Falls Incline Railway).

Valet vs self-park vs no car at all

If you are driving yourself, this is the cost question. Marriott's own FAQ for the hotel lists a valet service and an off-site self-parking option, each charged per day plus tax. Rates change, so check the hotel's current figure when you book rather than relying on a booking site's old number. Two things are consistent across Fallsview hotels:

  1. Parking is charged nightly, usually with in-and-out privileges.
  2. Off-site lots mean a walk or shuttle with your luggage, which is fine for a weekend bag and less fine for a family of five.

Here is the arithmetic that most first-time visitors miss. If you drive from Toronto, park for three nights, then barely move the car because the Falls, Clifton Hill and the casino are walkable or a WEGO bus ride away, you have paid for three nights of a car sitting still. A one-way chauffeured arrival and departure removes that cost entirely, and you can still book a single wine-country day by the hour in the middle of your stay. We ran those numbers in more detail in hotel parking fees vs a chauffeur.

Evenings out: dinner reservations and the ride back up

The Fallsview ridge is walkable, but the walk back from a dinner in Niagara-on-the-Lake, a show at Clifton Hill or a late table elsewhere in the city is not. Guests who arrive by chauffeur often add one more short booking during the stay: a return trip to a restaurant across town, or a few hours by the hour for a falls-at-night drive along the Niagara Parkway when the illumination is on. The chauffeur waits or returns at the time you set, and the car meets you at the restaurant door rather than at a taxi rank. Our Falls night tour service shows how that works.

Departure day: timing the ride back

Check-out at most Fallsview hotels is late morning. For a flight out of Pearson, leave the hotel at least four hours before an international departure and three hours before a domestic one, more on a summer Friday or Sunday afternoon when the QEW toward Toronto is at its slowest. For Buffalo, add border time and remember that US-bound traffic queues separately; the chauffeur checks CBP's wait data before choosing a bridge.

If you have a late flight, many guests book the departure car for mid-afternoon and spend the morning at Journey Behind the Falls or the Niagara Parks Power Station, leaving bags with the bell desk.

Booking it with NiagaraFallsLimo.net in 3 steps

  1. Enter the trip. Pickup at the airport terminal with your flight number, drop-off at "Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa, 6740 Fallsview Boulevard", date and time.
  2. Pick the vehicle class. A Standard Sedan carries up to 3 passengers and 2 large bags; a Standard SUV or Executive Black SUV carries up to 6 with 6 bags. Couples marking a special stay often choose the Mercedes-Benz E / S-Class. Each shows its fixed fare.
  3. Add extras and pay. Meet & greet, child seats, passenger count and bags, then pay securely. Your confirmation arrives by email.

The verdict, plainly: a solo traveller with a carry-on, landing at midday on a weekday, can take a rideshare and be perfectly happy. A family with car seats, a couple landing at midnight, anyone arriving from Buffalo who wants one driver through the border, or anyone who would otherwise pay nightly parking for an idle car, does better with a pre-booked chauffeur. Who this arrival plan suits

Couples on a spa weekend get a quiet ride and a driveway arrival without luggage drama; our page for couples has ideas for the rest of the stay. Individuals on business can work in the back seat and walk straight into check-in. Families can request child, toddler or booster seats in the booker and choose an SUV for the bags. Groups arriving together, for a celebration or a conference, can share an Executive Sprinter for up to 12 people with carry-on luggage, or split across two SUVs when bags are larger. The Marriott Fallsview hotel page and the wider Fallsview hotels guide cover the neighbourhood, and our post on which Falls-view hotels make arrivals easiest compares the boulevard's driveways.

Frequently asked questions

Which Marriott is the Marriott Fallsview?

The Hotel & Spa, the one this guide covers, is number 6740 on Fallsview Boulevard. The Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls is a separate hotel across the street at 6755 Fallsview Boulevard. Always use the street number when booking a car or entering a map destination.

Does the Marriott Fallsview have valet parking?

Marriott's FAQ for the hotel lists valet service and an off-site self-parking option, both charged per day plus tax. Rates change, so confirm the current figure with the hotel. Guests arriving by chauffeur skip parking altogether: the car drops you at the doors and leaves.

How far is the Marriott Fallsview from the Falls?

The owner's site describes it as about 100 yards from Niagara Falls, on the ridge above the Niagara Parkway. The Falls Incline Railway links the Fallsview district with Table Rock Centre if you prefer not to walk the hill.

How long does it take from Pearson to the Marriott Fallsview?

About 1 h 30 to 1 h 50 for the 122 km (76 mi) drive in normal traffic. Summer Friday afternoons, long weekends and bad weather can add 30 minutes or more. Your chauffeur tracks your flight, so the timing starts when you land.

Can a chauffeur take us from Buffalo airport across the border to the hotel?

Yes. Cross-border trips are normal service. The chauffeur crosses the bridge with you, and every passenger must carry their own valid travel document. Nobody can promise a crossing time, so allow extra for the border on weekends and holidays.

What does a car from Pearson to the Marriott Fallsview cost?

The fare depends on the vehicle and time. Price it in the booker: you see one fixed, all-in figure for that terminal, that hotel and that vehicle before paying, with no meter and no surge.

Can we stop on the way from the airport?

Yes. Add a stop in the booker, such as a winery lunch or a grocery run, and the fixed fare updates before you pay.
