Most problems with a limo booking start before anyone presses "pay": a hotel name that exists twice, a terminal left blank, a child seat nobody mentioned, a party of nine squeezed into an eight-seat stretch. This guide explains how to book a limo with NiagaraFallsLimo.net, our pre-booked chauffeur service for Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake and both sides of the border, and how to give the booker the details that make the day run on time.
How do you book a limo in Niagara?
To book a limo with NiagaraFallsLimo.net, open the online booker, enter pickup, drop-off, date, time and any flight number, choose a vehicle class showing its fixed all-in fare, then add passengers, bags and extras and pay securely. A Toronto Pearson to Niagara Falls trip (about 125 km, roughly 1 h 30 – 1 h 45) books in minutes.
That is the whole process. The rest of this page is about doing each step well. If you would rather compare options before committing, our chauffeur vs taxi vs rideshare guide sets them side by side, and the Niagara travel guides hub has more planning help.
Before you open the booker: what to have ready
Gather these details first. It takes two minutes and saves a phone call later.
- Exact pickup and drop-off: the full hotel name and street address, the airport terminal, the winery, the bridge, or a home address.
- Date and time: for airport pickups, your scheduled landing time; for departures, the time you want to leave, not the flight time.
- Flight or train number: we track arrivals, so a delay moves your pickup automatically.
- Headcount, including children and infants.
- Luggage: the number of large cases, carry-ons, strollers, golf bags, ski bags or anything unusual.
- Children's ages and approximate weights, so the right seats are fitted.
- Accessibility needs: a wheelchair, a walker, or someone who finds a high SUV step difficult.
- Travel documents if the trip crosses the border, one valid document per person.
- Special timings: a tasting reservation, a ceremony start, a show curtain, a dinner booking.
Step 1: pickup, drop-off and the right trip mode
The booker offers four modes:

- Point to point: one journey, A to B. Most airport transfers.
- Return: the outward trip and the trip back in one booking, such as hotel to Shaw Festival and back.
- Multi-stop: one journey with planned stops, such as collecting three wedding guests from three hotels.
- By the hour: a car and chauffeur stay with you for a block of time; ideal for winery days, sightseeing loops and evenings with several venues. Our hourly chauffeur page explains when it beats separate bookings.
Then make the addresses unambiguous. Niagara has a habit of reusing names:
- There are two cities called Niagara Falls, one in Ontario and one in New York, facing each other across the river. Check the province or state.
- The Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa (6740 Fallsview Boulevard) and Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls (6755 Fallsview Boulevard) are separate hotels on the same street; our Marriott Fallsview pickup guide explains which is which.
- Sheraton Fallsview Hotel is at 5875 Falls Avenue in Ontario, while the US-side Sheraton is in downtown Niagara Falls, New York. See our Sheraton Fallsview guide and the Niagara Falls NY hotels guide.
- Some hotels have new names: Embassy Suites Fallsview is now the Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview, and the Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls-Fallsview is now The Brock. Use the current name.
Step 2: choosing the vehicle
Every class shows its fixed all-in fare for your exact trip before you choose. Pick on passengers and luggage together; a full car of people often leaves no room for their bags.
| Class | Passengers | Bags | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Sedan (Cadillac XTS or similar) | up to 3 | 2 large | Couples and solo travellers |
| Mercedes-Benz E / S-Class | up to 2 | 2 | Executives, special evenings |
| Standard SUV (Suburban / Yukon XL) | up to 6 | 6 | Families with luggage |
| Executive Black SUV (Escalade / Navigator) | up to 6 | 6 | Families and executives wanting a premium SUV |
| Mercedes-Maybach | up to 2 | 2 | Milestone occasions |
| Rolls-Royce | up to 2 | 2 | Weddings and proposals |
| Stretch Limousine | up to 8 | minimal | Proms, nights out |
| Stretch SUV Limousine | up to 16 | minimal | Larger celebrations |
| Executive Sprinter (Mercedes-Benz) | up to 12 | carry-on only | Groups travelling light |
| Executive Jet Sprinter | up to 6 | 2 | Small groups wanting space |
| Party Bus | up to 12 | 2 | Birthdays and concert nights |
All classes are "or similar", with the model confirmed at booking. The Maybach, Rolls-Royce, stretch limousines and party bus are subject to availability confirmed at booking. Coaches are available on request for larger groups. Photos and details are on the fleet page.
A rule of thumb from our desk: if your group fills every seat, check the bag column. Twelve people with twelve suitcases do not fit one Executive Sprinter; they need the Sprinter plus an SUV, or a coach.
Step 3: passengers, bags, child seats and extras
This screen is where the details live:
- Child, toddler and booster seats. Ontario sets the stages by size: rear-facing up to 9 kg, forward-facing from 9 to 18 kg, and a booster for children under 8 who weigh 18–36 kg and are under 145 cm, according to Ontario's child car seat guidance. Add one seat per child who needs one and note ages and weights. Our families page has more.
- Wheelchair option. Select it and describe the chair (folding or not) and any transfer help needed; see our accessible transportation page.
- Meet and greet. The chauffeur waits inside arrivals with a name board instead of at the kerb; useful for first visits and international arrivals. Details on our meet and greet page.
- VIP security add-on. Available in the booker for clients who want it. We are not a security company and work alongside a client's own team.
- A sealed bottle as a gift. It can be added to travel with you unopened, to take away. There is no drinking in our vehicles: Niagara Region's vehicle-for-hire by-law forbids a licensed driver to permit alcohol consumption in the vehicle.
- Trained service animals are welcome; mention them so the chauffeur expects them.
- Notes. Use them for anything the form does not ask: a gate code, a preferred door, a surprise to keep quiet.
Paying, confirmation and what happens next
You pay securely online, and a confirmation arrives by email with the trip details. Keep it handy: it is the reference for any change. On the day, your chauffeur sends an arrival message when the car is in place, naming the exact spot. For airport pickups, flight tracking adjusts the time if your plane is early or late, so there is no need to call from the gate.
If anything on the confirmation looks wrong, such as the hotel, the terminal or the number of seats, tell the reservations desk straight away rather than on the day.
Airport bookings: details that matter
At Toronto Pearson, pre-arranged cars collect passengers at Terminal 1 Door A and Terminal 3 Door A, per the airport's pre-arranged services page. Put your landing time, not your expected exit time, in the booker; we allow for baggage and customs. If you are arriving internationally, meet and greet removes any doubt about finding the car.
For Buffalo, remember the border is part of the trip. More airport-specific advice is on our Toronto Pearson to Niagara Falls page and Buffalo airport to Niagara Falls Canada page.
Cross-border bookings
Crossing the Niagara River is normal service; the chauffeur crosses with you. Three things to get right when booking:
- Documents for everyone. Each passenger carries their own valid document; check our pages on entering Canada and entering the USA.
- NEXUS only if everyone has it. A car may use a NEXUS lane only if every occupant, the driver included, is a member carrying their card, per CBSA's NEXUS rules. See our NEXUS guide.
- Time margin. We never promise a crossing time. Build in a margin before flights, ceremonies and shows.
Our cross-border car service page covers the rest.
Changes and cancellations
To change a booking, contact the reservations desk with your confirmation details. Changes are easiest when made early, especially to vehicle class on busy weekends.
The cancellation policy is counted from the scheduled pickup time:
| Notice before pickup | Charge |
|---|---|
| More than 72 hours | No charge |
| 72 hours or less | 10% |
| 48 hours or less | 50% |
| 24 hours or less, or no-show | 100% |
Proms, long weekends and large weddings may carry a different deadline, which will be printed on your confirmation.
Booking for proms, weddings and groups
Peak dates fill first, so book these as soon as the date is fixed:
- Proms: parents usually book; list every student, the pickup addresses and the school's rules. No alcohol, ever. See our prom limo page.
- Weddings: give ceremony and reception addresses, photo stops and the guest-shuttle plan. See our wedding limo page.
- Groups and conferences: send a manifest with names and flight numbers; we match vehicles to arrival waves. See group transportation and, for company accounts and invoicing, corporate car service.
Ways to arrange a ride in Niagara, compared
| Mode | Door-to-door time | Cost note | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pre-booked chauffeur (our booker) | Car waiting at the set time; no search | Fixed fare via the booker, shown before you pay | Matched to your booking | Airports, borders, wine days, events |
| Rideshare app | Wait depends on drivers nearby | Surge pricing at busy times | Whatever car arrives | Short solo hops |
| Taxi from a rank or by phone | Wait at the rank or for dispatch | Metered; Niagara Region sets maximum tariffs | One trunk | Quick local trips |
| GO train, VIA or intercity bus | Fixed timetable, plus local connections | Published fares per operator | You carry it | Light travellers, Toronto day trips |
| Driving yourself | Your own timing, plus parking | Fuel, tolls, parking | Your car | Visitors not tasting wine |
When is something else better? For a five-minute ride from Clifton Hill to your hotel, a taxi or a walk is fine. For a solo trip from Toronto with a backpack, the train is good value. Pre-booking wins when the trip has stakes: a flight, a border, a ceremony, children with seats, a group that must arrive together, or a day of tastings. Our Niagara FAQ answers more general questions.
Who books this way
- Individuals: business travellers and solo visitors who want the airport leg settled before they fly.
- Couples: anniversaries and proposals where the car is part of the plan.
- Families: anyone with car seats, strollers and four suitcases.
- Groups: weddings, proms, conferences and friends' weekends.
Mistakes we see most often
- Entering the flight's departure time for an airport pickup instead of the landing time.
- Choosing a vehicle by seats alone and forgetting the bags.
- Booking "Niagara Falls" without checking the province or state.
- Leaving out child seats, or a child's age.
- Assuming a NEXUS lane when one passenger is not a member.
- Using an old hotel name from a past trip.
Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should I book a limo in Niagara?
As soon as your plans are fixed. Ordinary weekdays usually leave more choice, while proms, wedding Saturdays, long weekends and big concert nights fill early, and the larger vehicles go first. The booker shows what is available for your date.
How much does it cost to hire a limousine for an hour?
The booker shows the fixed all-in fare for your exact trip and vehicle before you pay. For hourly bookings, choose "By the hour", enter the start time and the length of the booking, and each class displays its price. There is no meter and no surge.
Can I book a limo for someone else?
Yes. Enter the passenger's name and the pickup details, and add a note with anything the chauffeur should know, such as the arrival flight or a meeting point. The confirmation goes to the booking email, so forward it to the traveller if they need the details.
What information do I need for an airport pickup?
Your airline and flight number, the scheduled landing time, the terminal if you know it, the number of passengers and bags, and any child seats. Add meet and greet if you want the chauffeur inside arrivals. Flight tracking adjusts the pickup if the flight is delayed.
Can we drink in the limo?
No. NiagaraFallsLimo.net does not allow drinking in its vehicles. Niagara Region's by-law forbids licensed drivers to permit alcohol consumption in the vehicle, and Ontario's liquor law has no limousine exception. A sealed bottle can be added in the booker as a gift to take away.
How do I change or cancel my booking?
Contact the reservations desk with your confirmation details. Cancellation charges are counted from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours' notice, none; 72 hours or less, 10%; 48 hours or less, 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100%. Some event dates carry a different deadline on the confirmation.
Do you provide car seats?
Yes. Child, toddler and booster seats are options in the booker. Add one for each child who needs it and include ages and approximate weights, so the right seats are fitted before pickup. Ontario sets seat stages by weight and height.
Can the chauffeur take us across the border?
Yes. Cross-border trips are normal service and the chauffeur crosses with you. Every passenger needs their own valid document, and a NEXUS lane can be used only if everyone in the car is a member. We do not promise crossing times, so allow a margin.
