Most visitors picture Niagara Falls hotels as the towers on Fallsview Boulevard, but a large share of the city's rooms are elsewhere: in the Clifton Hill hotels around the "Street of Fun" and Falls Avenue, and along Lundy's Lane, the old road that runs west from the tourist core toward the QEW. The two areas feel very different and the car journeys are different too. NiagaraFallsLimo.net collects guests from both every day, and this page sets out what to expect: which hotels sit where, where the chauffeur can actually stop, and how far you are from the airports, the bridges and the wineries.
How do I get from the airport to a Clifton Hill or Lundy's Lane hotel?
Book with NiagaraFallsLimo.net: enter your terminal and hotel address, and the booker shows a fixed fare. Clifton Hill is about 125 km (78 mi) from Toronto Pearson and Lundy's Lane about 122 km (76 mi), usually 1 h 25 – 1 h 50; Buffalo Niagara is about 41 – 43 km (25 – 27 mi) plus the border.
The chauffeur drops you at your hotel's own entrance, not on the pedestrian-heavy hill itself, and on departure day collects you from the same door.
Two districts, two kinds of stay
Clifton Hill and Falls Avenue sit by the river, one block from the Falls. The official Clifton Hill site puts the Street of Fun at 4960 Clifton Hill and lists the Niagara SkyWheel, Niagara Speedway and a long line of fun houses, mini-golf and wax museums. Niagara Falls Tourism's neighbourhood page sums it up as "Everything is within walking distance". The Rainbow Bridge is about a kilometre away, Casino Niagara is on Falls Avenue, and the Niagara City Cruises dock is a short walk down the Parkway.
Lundy's Lane is the long commercial road heading west from the tourist core toward the QEW. Niagara Falls Tourism calls it "one of Niagara Fall's most famous historical districts", named for the 1814 Battle of Lundy's Lane, one of the hardest-fought actions of the War of 1812. Today it is a mix of family motels, waterpark resorts, chain restaurants and shopping, including Canada One Outlets at 7500 Lundy's Lane. It is quieter at night than Clifton Hill and closer to the highway, which shaves a few minutes off airport runs.
Clifton Hill hotels on Falls Avenue and Victoria Avenue
The core of the district is the Falls Avenue Resort, which describes itself as a 20-acre complex of connected hotels with a 3-acre indoor waterpark and indoor access to Casino Niagara and Clifton Hill. Its properties include:
- Sheraton Fallsview Hotel, 5875 Falls Avenue, the largest of the group, despite the name not on Fallsview Boulevard.
- The Brock Niagara Falls-Fallsview, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, 5685 Falls Avenue, the former Crowne Plaza, rebranded in April 2025.
- Skyline Hotel & Waterpark, part of the same resort.
Close by, on and around Victoria Avenue behind the hill:
- Clifton Victoria Inn at the Falls, 5591 Victoria Avenue.
- Travelodge at the Falls, which Niagara Falls Tourism lists on its Clifton Hill neighbourhood page.
- Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls, the indoor-waterpark resort at 3950 Victoria Avenue, a little further north toward the Whirlpool.
Many smaller independent motels line these blocks too. We pick up from every one of them; just enter the exact street address in the booker.
Hotels along Lundy's Lane
Lundy's Lane has a long run of motels and mid-size hotels. Niagara Falls Tourism's Lundy's Lane page names the Americana Waterpark Resort & Spa and the Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel, along with the Niagara Falls KOA campground for RV travellers. Because street numbers along the lane run into the thousands, give us the full address: the 5000 block near the tourist core and the 8000 block near the highway are several kilometres apart, and the drive time to the Falls changes accordingly.
During the Winter Festival of Lights the light displays extend along Lundy's Lane as well as the Parkway and Fallsview, so even a December airport transfer can take in a few of them.
Where the chauffeur can stop
Clifton Hill itself is a steep, crowded street, packed with pedestrians on summer evenings, and it is no place for a car to wait. We collect at your hotel's main entrance or porte-cochère. For the Falls Avenue Resort, tell us which hotel, because each has its own front door. If you are out on the hill when you want to leave, pick a nearby hotel lobby or a side street as the meeting point and write it in the booker notes; the chauffeur will message you when they arrive.
On Lundy's Lane most properties have their own forecourt or parking lot, which makes pickups simple. The chauffeur waits at the office or lobby door.

On a summer Friday, add half an hour or more to the Pearson times. Border queues are never part of our estimate; CBSA posts live wait times for traffic entering Canada, and CBP's site covers the other direction.

Airport arrivals into these districts
From Toronto Pearson, the drive follows the QEW around the lake and leaves the highway for Niagara Falls, a few minutes from either district. With meet & greet the chauffeur is inside arrivals with a name board; otherwise Pearson sends pre-arranged pickups to Terminal 1 Door A and Terminal 3 Door A. Read the Pearson to Niagara Falls transfer page for details.
From Buffalo Niagara, the Rainbow Bridge lands you at the bottom of Clifton Hill, so for Falls Avenue hotels the crossing ends practically at the door. Each passenger must carry their own valid documents for Canada; see documents for entering Canada and the Buffalo airport transfer guide. Travellers coming by rail can use our train station transfers from the VIA and GO station on Bridge Street.
Evenings: walk down, ride back
Clifton Hill is built for walking, and you should walk it. Where a car helps is at either end of the evening. Guests on Lundy's Lane often take a short ride to the bottom of the hill and back; families with tired children appreciate not tackling the climb at 11 pm. Our Clifton Hill page explains drop-off spots, and the Skylon Tower guide covers dinner in the Revolving Dining Room, 775 ft above the Falls.
Nearby dining that guests mention includes Weinkeller at 5633 Victoria Avenue and, in the city, AG Inspired Cuisine at the Sterling Inn & Spa. For a fuller list, see our Niagara Falls restaurants guide.
A reminder that applies to every evening: there is no drinking in our vehicles. Niagara Region's by-law does not allow a vehicle-for-hire driver to permit it, and Ontario law has no limousine exception.
Over the bridge for the day
From Falls Avenue, New York State is a few minutes away. A return trip or hourly booking takes you to Niagara Falls State Park, the Maid of the Mist landing, Cave of the Winds on Goat Island or the outlets on Military Road, then home. The chauffeur crosses with you. Our Rainbow Bridge guide and cross-border car service explain how it works.
Who stays here, and what they book
- Families are the core of both districts: waterpark resorts, motels with parking and the attractions on the hill. They book SUVs with car seats from Pearson or Buffalo. See Niagara Falls with kids.
- Couples on a budget-conscious weekend often stay on Lundy's Lane and spend on one evening out, such as a winery dinner with the car waiting.
- Groups for tournaments, school trips and reunions fill Lundy's Lane hotels; an Executive Sprinter of up to 12 or a coach on request keeps them together. Read group trips to Niagara Falls.
- Individuals working in the area book sedans to the airport with a fixed fare for the expense claim.

Honest advice: if you are one person with a small bag, the bus or the GO train is a perfectly good way home, and for hopping between Clifton Hill and Table Rock the Niagara Parks WEGO bus or a taxi does the job. A chauffeur is worth it for car seats, several large suitcases, a group, an early flight or a border crossing. See chauffeur vs taxi vs rideshare.

Frequently asked questions
Which hotels are closest to Clifton Hill?
The Falls Avenue Resort hotels, the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel, The Brock and the Skyline Hotel & Waterpark, sit at the foot of Clifton Hill with indoor access to Casino Niagara. Clifton Victoria Inn at the Falls and Travelodge at the Falls are also in the immediate area, along with many smaller motels.
Is Lundy's Lane walking distance to the Falls?
The eastern end of Lundy's Lane is a long walk to the Falls, roughly 2 to 3 km. Further west, hotels are farther still. Most guests use a short car ride, a taxi or the Niagara Parks WEGO bus. By car, the 6000 block is about 10 to 15 minutes from Table Rock.
How far is Clifton Hill from Toronto Pearson?
About 125 km (78 mi) by the QEW, usually 1 h 30 to 1 h 50 off-peak and 2 h 15 or more on a summer Friday. The chauffeur tracks your flight, waits if you land late and drops you at your hotel's entrance rather than on the busy hill.
Where will the chauffeur pick us up on Clifton Hill?
At your hotel's main entrance, not on Clifton Hill itself, which is steep and crowded with pedestrians. If you are out on the hill when you want to leave, choose a nearby hotel lobby or side street as the meeting point and add it to the booker notes.
How much is a car from a Lundy's Lane hotel to Buffalo airport?
The booker shows the fixed all-in fare for your exact pickup, drop-off and vehicle before you pay. Enter your hotel's full Lundy's Lane address and Buffalo Niagara International to see each class. Every passenger needs their own valid documents for the US border.
Is there Uber near Clifton Hill?
Yes, rideshare apps operate in Niagara Falls, and drivers serve Clifton Hill. Expect surge pricing on summer evenings and after the fireworks. For a guaranteed car at a set time with room for luggage, or for a crossing into the US, a pre-booked chauffeur is more dependable.
Can a car take our group from Lundy's Lane to a winery?
Yes. Book by the hour. The Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries are about 19 to 22 km from the 6000 block of Lundy's Lane, usually 25 to 30 minutes. Groups of up to 12 fit an Executive Sprinter. There is no drinking on board, and sealed wine purchases ride in the back.
