San Antonio hides its best address one floor down. The River Walk runs below the streets, so a car never pulls up beside the water: it stops at a hotel entrance or a street corner above, and the last few steps are on foot. Getting the drop point right, and knowing which corner the driver will be waiting at after dinner, is most of what a good San Antonio limo service does. The rest is the airport, the arenas and the long drives out to the Hill Country and the missions.
Can I book a car at San Antonio International Airport?
Yes. NiagaraFallsLimo.net books airport car service at San Antonio International Airport (SAT), about 21 km (13 mi) from downtown and the River Walk, usually 20–30 minutes. Enter the flight number and address in the online booker, choose a sedan, SUV, Sprinter or party bus, see the fixed all-in fare and pay.
SAT is a two-terminal airport, A and B, with a third being built. That construction matters right now. The airport's construction page explains that from March 23, 2026, two of the four lanes at the far end of Terminal B are closed on both levels to make room for the roadwork serving the future Terminal C, with this first phase expected to run through December 2026. Shuttles, rideshare and taxis still collect people outside baggage claim, but the exact pickup spots have shifted.
When the curb keeps moving, a pre-booked car is simpler. The chauffeur tracks your flight, so an early landing or a two-hour delay is handled without a phone call. With the meet & greet option the driver waits inside arrivals with a name board and walks you to the car. Anyone collecting you privately can use the airport's free cell phone lot, which is open around the clock and has Wi-Fi.
From SAT to the downtown hotels is about 21 km (13 mi), usually 20–30 minutes. Allow longer at the afternoon peak on the loops that ring the city.
Who actually drives you in San Antonio
NiagaraFallsLimo.net is a reservations desk based in the Niagara region of Ontario. For a trip that starts here, the vehicle comes from an independent operator in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network: licensed, commercially insured and vetted by us. We do not have a San Antonio office or local staff. The arrangement is simple: you book and pay through us, the partner drives, and every question, change or receipt goes through our desk.
The booker prices any San Antonio address, point to point, return, multi-stop or "By the hour". Every vehicle class outside the Niagara region is marked "availability confirmed at booking", because partner fleets vary by city.
Party bus San Antonio: Fiesta, quinceañeras and nights out
Most searches for a party bus here are about celebrations that involve a whole family or a whole friend group. A quinceañera with a court of damas and chambelanes, a wedding party moving between a church and a reception hall, a bachelor night that starts on the River Walk and ends somewhere across town. The point of the bus is that nobody is left trying to find a ride at the end.
Fiesta is the city's biggest stretch on the calendar. The Fiesta San Antonio Commission gives the 2027 festival as April 15–25, opening with Fiesta Fiesta at Travis Park on April 15. Parades and road closures make those days hard for anyone driving themselves; party buses and limousines for that window should be booked months ahead.
Group vehicles in our booker:
- Party Bus: up to 12 passengers, 2 bags.
- Stretch SUV Limousine: up to 16 passengers, minimal luggage.
- Stretch Limousine: up to 8 passengers, minimal luggage.
- Executive Sprinter (Mercedes-Benz): up to 12 passengers, carry-on only.
Coaches for bigger groups are available on request. Our pages on wedding limo service and prom limo planning describe how timing and photo stops work; the same thinking applies to a quinceañera day.
Alamodome and Frost Bank Center: getting in and out
San Antonio's two big indoor venues sit on different sides of downtown and draw very different crowds.
The Alamodome, at 100 Montana Street, is home to UTSA football and the Valero Alamo Bowl, and it books concerts, motorsport and championship events; its listings show the 2026 NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship on December 17–20, 2026, and a Metallica date on May 22, 2027. In summer heat or after a long show, a car waiting at a pre-agreed corner is worth it.
The Frost Bank Center, at 1 Frost Bank Center Drive east of downtown, is where the Spurs play, and its site also lists the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. Game nights end with a single surge of cars; a chauffeur who knows exactly where to meet you saves the wait in the parking lot.
For both, book the return leg when you book the drop, and add the event name in the notes. Our concert and sports transportation page shows how we handle the after-show pickup.
Black car service for conventions, offices and military families
The Henry B. González Convention Center, at 900 East Market Street downtown, hosts trade shows and conventions, and many attendees stay in hotels a short drive away. A chauffeur service booked "By the hour" covers the days with several appointments: the convention centre in the morning, a client lunch in Alamo Heights, an office visit out toward the northern suburbs, then back for a dinner.
Business travellers usually book:
- a Standard Sedan (Cadillac XTS or similar), up to 3 passengers and 2 large bags, for airport runs;
- a Mercedes-Benz E or S-Class, up to 2 passengers, for executives;
- an Executive Black SUV (Escalade or Navigator), up to 6 passengers and 6 bags, for a small team.
San Antonio is also a military city. Families flying in for a ceremony at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland face a drive of about 32 km (20 mi) from SAT, usually 30–40 minutes. Base access depends on the passes arranged through the service member, so the car takes you to the gate or point your pass allows; check the rules before you travel. For accounts and invoicing, see our corporate travel page, and for hourly details, the hourly chauffeur service.
Missions, theme parks and the road to Austin
Some of the best San Antonio days are out of the centre. The San Antonio Missions National Historical Park is, in the National Park Service's words, the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Texas; its four park missions, Concepción, San José, San Juan and Espada, are linked to downtown by the Mission Reach trail, and the main visitor centre is at Mission San José. A car "By the hour" lets you see all four without parking four times.
Other trips we book from the city:
- Six Flags Fiesta Texas: about 27 km (17 mi) northwest of downtown, usually 25–35 minutes.
- New Braunfels: about 51 km (32 mi) up the interstate, usually 40–55 minutes.
- Austin: about 127 km (79 mi), usually 1 h 30 – 2 h. Our Austin party bus and limo service page covers AUS, Sixth Street and race days.
Houston is a bigger leg still; see Houston limo service, and for North Texas, Dallas car service.

Reserve your San Antonio chauffeur
SAT to downtown: how the options compare
| Option | Door to door | Cost note | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rideshare | 25–45 min, pickup outside baggage claim | surge pricing at peaks | depends on the car | solo travellers with light bags |
| Taxi | 25–40 min from the rank | metered | sedan boot | quick trips when the rank is short |
| City bus | longer, with stops | public fare (check the operator) | what you can carry | budget travellers with time |
| Rental car | 40–60 min after the counter | daily rate plus hotel parking | good | people touring the Hill Country for days |
| Private chauffeur | 20–30 min from meet & greet or the curb | fixed fare via booker | sized to the group | families, groups, events, late flights |
The plain verdict: for one person with a carry-on at midday, a taxi or rideshare is fine. A pre-booked chauffeur earns its place when the curb is under construction and you would rather be met inside, when there are children who need seats, when ten people need to arrive together for a wedding, when it is Fiesta week, or when a flight lands at midnight. The fare is fixed before you book and the driver is waiting. Our chauffeur vs taxi vs rideshare guide explains the trade-offs in detail.
San Antonio to Niagara Falls
The road distance is about 2,675 km (1,662 mi), close to 30 hours of driving before you count rest stops, the border and the weather. Very few people should try it. The practical route is to fly and let us handle the ground at each end.
- Fly to Buffalo Niagara International (BUF). From there it is about 35–40 km (22–25 mi) to the hotels above the Canadian falls, usually 35–45 minutes plus the bridge. Details are on our BUF airport transfer page.
- Fly to Toronto Pearson (YYZ). About 125–135 km (78–84 mi) to Niagara Falls, Ontario, usually 1 h 20 – 1 h 40 off-peak. See the Pearson to Niagara transfer.
Check current airline schedules from SAT for connections; we do not quote flight routes here. With both ends booked through one desk, a single confirmation covers the car to SAT and the chauffeur waiting at BUF or YYZ.
At the other end, the Niagara Falls tour packages, a private Niagara Falls tour and our hotels guide are the next places to look, and the travel desk can plan the trip end to end.
Papers for the bridge into Canada
From Buffalo, the drive to the Canadian falls crosses the Niagara River, and your chauffeur crosses with you. Each passenger must carry their own valid documents. For US citizens, that means a passport, passport card, enhanced driver's licence or NEXUS card; the Canada Border Services Agency recommends a passport. US permanent residents carry their permanent resident card, and children need their own proof of citizenship. Start with our border crossing guide and the documents for entering Canada checklist.
Vehicles you can choose
Besides the group and business vehicles above, the booker offers the Standard SUV (Suburban or Yukon XL, up to 6 passengers and 6 bags), the Mercedes-Maybach and Rolls-Royce (up to 2 passengers, 2 bags) and the Executive Jet Sprinter (up to 6 passengers, 2 bags). Every class is "or similar", the model is confirmed at booking, and in San Antonio each one is "availability confirmed at booking". Photos and layouts are on the fleet page.
Cancelling or changing a booking
The cancellation terms match the rest of the site and are counted from the scheduled pickup time: more than 72 hours' notice, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10%; 48 hours or less, 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100%. Proms, long weekends and big weddings may carry a different deadline printed on your confirmation; Fiesta weekends often fall into that group, so read the confirmation.
Who books San Antonio cars with us
Individuals book the SAT pickup and a car for a day of meetings. Couples take a Mercedes to dinner on the River Walk or a sedan out to the missions. Families arrive for graduations and reunions with child seats already fitted and an SUV for the bags. Groups book the party bus or a stretch SUV for quinceañeras, weddings and game nights. Read how we plan for families.
Every US city in the network is on the US limo service page.
Frequently asked questions
How much is a party bus in San Antonio?
Before you pay, the booker displays one fixed all-in fare for your route, date and chosen vehicle. Party bus fares depend on hours, day and season, with Fiesta and prom weekends in highest demand, so enter your full plan, including stops, and the price shown is the price you pay.
Where does my driver meet me at SAT?
With meet & greet, the chauffeur waits inside arrivals with a name board. Otherwise your confirmation explains the meeting point and the driver contacts you after landing. Curbside work for the new Terminal C has moved some pickup spots, so being met inside saves searching.
Can a limo drop us at the River Walk?
Cars stop at street level, at a hotel entrance or a corner above the water, because the River Walk itself is below the street. Tell the booker which hotel or restaurant you are going to and the desk will set a sensible drop and pickup point.
Can I book a car from San Antonio to Niagara Falls?
At about 2,675 km (1,662 mi), the drive takes close to 30 hours, so we suggest flying to Buffalo Niagara (BUF) or Toronto Pearson (YYZ) and booking the transfer to the Falls with us, plus the car to SAT at the start.
How many people fit in a San Antonio party bus?
Our Party Bus class seats up to 12 and the Stretch SUV Limousine up to 16. For larger quinceañera courts or wedding parties, ask the desk for a coach or a second vehicle. Group vehicles are confirmed at booking.
Do you cover Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland?
We can book a car from SAT or a hotel toward the base, about 32 km (20 mi) from the airport. Entry depends on the passes arranged through the service member, so the vehicle goes only as far as your access allows.
Who is responsible for my San Antonio ride?
NiagaraFallsLimo.net takes the booking, the payment and every change. The vehicle and chauffeur come from an independent, licensed and commercially insured operator in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, vetted by us, and our desk remains your point of contact.
