A party bus in Niagara Falls turns the journey into part of the night: music, lighting, room to stand and talk, and everyone arriving together. NiagaraFallsLimo.net runs a Party Bus for up to 12 guests across the region, alongside stretch limousines and Sprinters for groups that prefer a different feel. This page explains how a party bus night works here, what the rules on board are, and when another vehicle would suit your group better.
How does a party bus in Niagara Falls work?
NiagaraFallsLimo.net books its Party Bus, up to 12 guests, "By the hour" or as a multi-stop route: pickups, dinner, Clifton Hill or the casino, and home. Clifton Hill to downtown Buffalo is about 40 km (25 mi) plus the border queue. Drinking on board is not permitted, and the online booker shows the fixed fare before payment.
The chauffeur drives, waits at each stop and keeps the plan on time. You set the stops; the booking confirmation lists them.
The alcohol question, answered first
It is the most common question we get about party buses, so here is the straight answer: there is no drinking in our vehicles, including the party bus.
- Section 43 of Niagara Region's By-law 2021-58, which governs vehicles for hire, forbids a licensed driver to permit any alcohol to be consumed in the vehicle, and it bars smoking and vaping too.
- Ontario's Liquor Licence and Control Act, 2019, section 42, prohibits driving or having care or control of a motor vehicle that contains liquor unless it is in an unopened, sealed container or packed away and not readily available. Section 41 lists the places liquor may be consumed, and a moving vehicle for hire is not one of them. The Act has no limousine or party-bus exception.
- Ontario's legal drinking age is 19.
What this means in practice: drinks happen at the restaurant, the bar, the casino or the venue. Bottles bought along the way stay sealed and packed away. If you want a gift for the guest of honour, a sealed bottle can be added in the booker to take away. You may see party bus ads elsewhere that suggest otherwise; under Niagara's by-law, our chauffeurs cannot permit it, and they never drink themselves.
Who rides a party bus in Niagara
Birthday groups heading for dinner and a night on Clifton Hill. Friends at a concert at the OLG Stage or Avalon Theatre in Fallsview Casino Resort, which together host more than 320 shows a year according to the resort's site. Sports fans going to a Bills or Sabres game in Buffalo. Stag and stagette groups, covered in more detail on the bachelor and bachelorette page. Work teams celebrating after a conference.

Casino floors in Ontario are 19+, so a mixed-age group heading to Fallsview Casino Resort or Casino Niagara should plan a separate activity for anyone younger.
Party bus or a different vehicle?
The party bus is not always the right choice. A quick guide, with all models "or similar" and confirmed at booking:
- Party Bus: up to 12 passengers, 2 bags. Open interior, lighting, music. Best for a group that wants the ride to feel like part of the party. Availability confirmed at booking.
- Stretch SUV Limousine: up to 16 passengers, minimal luggage. More seats than the party bus, a more classic limousine feel.
- Stretch Limousine: up to 8 passengers, minimal luggage. For smaller birthday groups.
- Executive Sprinter (Mercedes-Benz): seats 12, carry-on bags only. Forward-facing executive seats, better for long drives such as Toronto to the Falls or Buffalo game days.
- Coaches: on request for larger groups; see group transportation.
Every guest needs a seat and a seat belt: the Region's by-law says a driver must not carry more passengers than the vehicle's seating capacity and available belts. If your group is 14, book the Stretch SUV Limousine or two vehicles, not the party bus. Photographs and seating plans are on the fleet page, and the stretch limo and Sprinter page compares the longer vehicles.

- 23:00 A show or the casino; see Fallsview Casino Resort.
- 01:00 Drop-offs in a planned order.
For venue ideas after dark, read our guide to Niagara Falls nightlife. For a craft-beer afternoon instead, see Niagara breweries and distilleries, remembering that the tasting happens at the brewery, not on the bus.
Concerts and game days in Buffalo
A Niagara party bus to Buffalo is a popular idea, and it works, with planning.
- Distances. Clifton Hill to KeyBank Center in downtown Buffalo is about 40 km (25 mi), usually 35 – 45 minutes. Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park is about 56 km (35 mi), usually 50 – 60 minutes. Add the border queue in each direction, which nobody can promise.
- Stadium rules. The Bills' stadium A-Z guide says buses and limos need a Bus & Limo Lot permit bought in advance, and vehicles without one are turned away on game day. Sprinter vans of any size must also park in the Limo Lot with an advance pass. The permit has to be bought before game day, so mention the game when you book.
- Bags. Highmark Stadium allows one clear bag up to 12 × 6 × 12 in. or a small clutch. KeyBank Center bans bags and backpacks but allows small clutches.
- Documents. Every passenger needs their own passport or other accepted document for both directions. See what you need to cross into the US and our Peace Bridge guide, the usual crossing for downtown Buffalo.
More on game-day timing is on the concerts and sports transportation page. A few groups combine a game with a stop at Canalside and the Buffalo waterfront.
Party bus vs other ways to move a group
| Mode | Door-to-door time | Cost note | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Several taxis | Waits at each pickup, group splits up | Metered per car | Per car | Two or three people |
| Rideshare convoy | Cars arrive at different times; may not cross the border | Surge pricing at peak times | Per car | Small groups, short distances |
| One friend drives a minivan | Flexible | Fuel and parking | Minivan | Groups with a willing non-drinker |
| WEGO or local transit | Fixed routes, limited late at night | Published fares | Day bag | Daytime sightseeing |
| Party Bus (NiagaraFallsLimo.net) | Door to door, waits at each stop | Fixed fare via booker, split across the group | 2 bags | Groups of up to 12 who want the ride to be fun |
| Stretch SUV or Sprinter (NiagaraFallsLimo.net) | Door to door, waits at each stop | Fixed fare via booker | Minimal or carry-on | Groups of up to 16, longer drives |
For two or three people going a short distance, taxis or rideshare are fine and cost less. Once a group reaches six or more, a single booked vehicle keeps everyone together, avoids the surge at closing time and removes the question of who drives. More on that in chauffeur vs taxi vs rideshare.
Groups flying or driving in
Out-of-town groups often arrive at Buffalo Niagara International, about 40 km (25 mi) from the Falls, or Toronto Pearson, about 125 km (78 mi). The Executive Sprinter or Executive Jet Sprinter is a better fit for an airport run with luggage than the party bus, which takes only 2 bags. Many groups book a Sprinter for arrival and the party bus for the night itself.
A note on safety and licensing
Every vehicle and chauffeur we send is licensed and commercially insured. Ontario requires a CVOR certificate (Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration) for buses with seating for 10 or more passengers, as described on the province's CVOR page. Seat belts are worn, the passenger count matches the seats, and the chauffeur drives the booked route.
Who a party bus suits
Individuals: the birthday host who wants one booking that covers everyone.
Couples: two couples are usually better off in an Executive Black SUV; the party bus shines with more people.
Families: milestone birthdays with adult children and grandparents, with the casino stop left off if anyone is under 19.
Groups: 8 to 12 friends on the party bus, 13 to 16 in a Stretch SUV Limousine. More ideas on our groups page, and other vehicles on the services overview.
Booking a party bus in 3 steps
- Plan the stops. Enter each pickup, the dinner, the show or game, and the drop-offs, with dates and times. Choose "By the hour" if you want the bus to wait.
- Choose the vehicle. Compare the Party Bus with a Stretch SUV Limousine or Sprinter; each shows its fixed fare for your exact night.
- Add the group and pay. Number of guests, any extras, notes for the chauffeur, then pay securely. Email confirmation follows.
Our how to book a limo guide explains the booker step by step.
Cancellation terms
Party nights get rescheduled. If you cancel with more than 72 hours left before pickup, nothing is charged. With 72 hours or less left, the charge is 10% of the fare; with 48 hours or less, 50%; with 24 hours or less, or for a no-show, all of it. Prom and long-weekend bookings may show a different deadline on the confirmation.
Frequently asked questions
Can you drink on a party bus in Ontario?
Not on ours. Niagara Region's by-law says a vehicle-for-hire driver must not permit alcohol consumption in the vehicle, and Ontario's Liquor Licence and Control Act has no party-bus or limousine exception. Drinks belong at the bar, restaurant or venue. Bottles bought on the way stay sealed and packed away.
How many people fit on the party bus?
Our Party Bus seats up to 12 passengers with room for 2 bags. For 13 to 16 people, book the Stretch SUV Limousine. For larger groups, ask about coaches or two vehicles. One seat and one belt per passenger is a legal requirement, so the count cannot be stretched.
Where can I rent a party bus for a trip to Niagara Falls, Ontario?
You can book NiagaraFallsLimo.net's Party Bus directly in our online booker. Enter the pickups and stops, choose the Party Bus, and the fixed fare appears before you pay. Availability is confirmed at booking, so weekend nights in summer and during prom season are worth securing early.
How much is a party bus in Ontario?
It depends on the hours, the stops and the date. Our booker shows the fixed all-in fare for your exact night and vehicle before you pay, so you can compare the Party Bus with a stretch limo or Sprinter without asking for a quote. Split it across the group however you like.
Can the party bus take us to a Bills game?
Yes, with planning. The Bills say buses and limos need an advance Bus & Limo Lot permit, and Sprinter vans must park there with a pass. Highmark Stadium is about 56 km from Clifton Hill, plus the border queue, and every passenger needs a passport or other accepted document for both crossings.
Where to party in Niagara Falls?
Most nights out centre on Clifton Hill, with its attractions and restaurants one block from the Falls, and the two casinos, Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara, both 19+. Fallsview's OLG Stage and Avalon Theatre host concerts and shows. Our nightlife guide lists more options.
Is the party bus available for proms?
Yes. The Party Bus takes up to 12 students, with no alcohol on board and one seat per passenger. Proms may carry a different cancellation deadline, printed on the confirmation. See the prom limo page for planning details aimed at parents and students.
