Logan is one of the few big American airports that sits almost inside its city. Boston City Hall is about 5 km (3 mi) from the terminals by road, but those few kilometres run through harbour tunnels that decide whether a ride takes ten minutes or forty. A Boston airport car service booked in advance takes the guesswork out of that, and NiagaraFallsLimo.net books it with the same fixed-fare booker we use at Niagara. This page covers Logan pickups, chauffeured days in the city, celebration vehicles, and the trip Bostonians ask us about most: Boston to Niagara Falls.
How do I book a Boston Logan airport car service?
Book it with NiagaraFallsLimo.net: enter Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), your flight number and your Boston address in the online booker, select a vehicle, and the fixed all-in fare appears before you pay. Downtown is about 5 km (3 mi) away, usually 10 to 30 minutes depending on the tunnels.
Your chauffeur tracks the flight and meets you at the terminal's limo stand, or inside the terminal with a name board if you add meet & greet. The same booking can run the other way, from a Back Bay hotel or a Cambridge apartment to your departure terminal.
Boston airport car service: the limo stand at each Logan terminal
Massport's taxi and limo page is clear that limo service at Logan works only by prior reservation, and it lists a stand at each terminal:
- Terminal A: a lot across from the curb on the Arrivals (lower) level.
- Terminal B: curbside on the Departures (upper) level, between doors B-205 and B-208.
- Terminal C: follow the signs to the Central Parking Garage; the stand is on the ground level.
- Terminal E (international arrivals): E Lot 2 on the Arrivals (lower) level.
Rideshare works differently: app pickups are in the Central Garage, on Level 2, which can be a long walk with bags. Massport's cell phone waiting lot on Tomahawk Drive allows a 30-minute maximum wait and does not take commercial vehicles, which is one reason a professional chauffeur meets you at the designated stand rather than circling. Terminals change by airline, so add your flight number and let us confirm the right one.
Who drives you in Boston
In Boston, as in every US city we serve, your car comes from an independent, licensed and commercially insured operator in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network. We vet these partners before they take our bookings. You book, pay and talk to us; our 24/7 desk stays your point of contact while the partner drives. We do not claim a Boston office or a Boston garage. Every class below is available on request, with availability confirmed at booking, because partner fleets differ city to city.
Black car and chauffeur service across Boston
Boston traffic is about bottlenecks. The Ted Williams, Sumner and Callahan tunnels carry most of the airport traffic; the Zakim Bridge and Interstate 93 carry most of everything else. A local chauffeur knows which one is moving at 5 pm and when Storrow Drive's low overpasses rule out a taller vehicle.
That local knowledge is what you are paying for on a business day. Common bookings:
- Seaport conventions. The Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center, formerly the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, describes itself as just 2.9 miles from Logan on its official venue page. Exhibitors land, drop bags at a Seaport hotel and head straight to the hall.
- Cambridge and Kendall Square. Biotech and university meetings across the river, often followed by a dinner in the South End.
- Route 128. Offices in Waltham, Burlington and Lexington, where an "as directed" hourly booking lets the chauffeur wait between meetings.
- Roadshows and investor days. The Mercedes-Benz E / S-Class for one or two executives, a six-seat Executive Black SUV for a team, and an NDA on request.
Boston party bus and limo rental: games, proms, weddings
Boston celebrates around its teams. TD Garden, above North Station, hosts the Celtics, the Bruins and the big concert tours. Fenway Park fills the Kenmore Square streets on game nights in summer. Gillette Stadium in Foxborough is about 46 km (29 mi) south of City Hall on Interstate 93, US 1 and Route 3; after a Patriots game or a stadium concert, Route 1 becomes a slow parking lot, and having your own vehicle and a chauffeur who knows the exit plan is far better than waiting for a rideshare signal.
Proms run from the North Shore to the South Shore, and Boston weddings spread from harbour-view ballrooms to Cape Cod and the Berkshires. Vehicles that suit these nights, subject to availability confirmed at booking:
- Stretch Limousine (up to 8) for prom couples and small wedding parties.
- Stretch SUV Limousine (up to 16) for larger parties who want to arrive together.
- Party Bus (up to 12) for bachelor and bachelorette nights, birthdays and game-day groups.
- Executive Sprinter (up to 12) for guest shuttles between hotel and venue.
Nobody drinks in our vehicles; that is a firm rule. Our wedding limo service page explains how we time a wedding day.
Boston to Niagara Falls: what the trip really involves
It is about 757 km (471 mi) from Boston City Hall to the Fallsview district of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and a little over nine hours of pure driving. The route leaves on Interstate 90, the Massachusetts Turnpike, crosses the Berkshires into New York, joins the New York State Thruway near Albany, and runs west past Syracuse and Rochester to Buffalo, where Interstate 290 and Interstate 190 lead to the Niagara bridges. Two toll systems, one long day.
A one-way private car is a real option for this: you leave after breakfast, stop for lunch near Albany or Syracuse, and arrive at your hotel by early evening, with nobody in the party having driven. It suits families with young children, groups of four to six sharing a Standard SUV, and anyone carrying more luggage than an airline wants. The fare for the whole trip is fixed before you book: see the fares by vehicle below this text, then price your exact address in the booker.
For couples and solo travellers in a hurry, flying is usually faster. Fly from Logan to Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) and book our Buffalo airport transfer for the last 35 to 40 km into Canada, usually 30 to 45 minutes plus the bridge. Nonstop schedules change by season, so check the airline timetables for your date. Flying to Toronto Pearson (YYZ) also works, but the drive from Pearson is about 130 km and the international arrival process is longer, so Buffalo is generally the better door to the Falls from Boston.
There is also a rail option. Amtrak's Lake Shore Limited runs daily from Boston South Station and Back Bay and calls at Albany-Rensselaer and Buffalo-Depew. It is a long trip, but it is relaxing, and we can collect you at Buffalo-Depew for the final leg across the border.
| way to go | door-to-door time | cost note | luggage | best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Drive yourself | about 10 h – 11 h with stops, plus the border | fuel, Mass Pike and Thruway tolls, hotel parking | no limit | people planning to tour Ontario by car |
| Fly BOS to BUF, then our car | about 5 h – 7 h including airports | ticket price + our fixed BUF fare | whatever the airline allows | couples, solo travellers, short trips |
| Fly BOS to YYZ, then our car | a long half day | ticket price + our fixed Pearson fare | per airline rules | combining Toronto and the Falls |
| Amtrak Lake Shore Limited to Buffalo-Depew, then our car | most of a day or overnight | Amtrak fare, check amtrak.com | train allowance | rail lovers |
| Private chauffeur from your Boston door | about 9 h 15 – 10 h 30 plus the border | fixed fare via booker | a full family load | families, groups, travellers who cannot or will not fly |
The honest verdict: two people with carry-on bags should fly to Buffalo and let us do the last half hour. Five people with a dog crate, two car seats and a week's worth of luggage should take the car from the driveway.
Crossing into Canada
Whichever way you come, the car crosses one of the Niagara bridges with you. Everyone aboard needs their own papers; at the land border, American citizens may show a passport book, a passport card, an enhanced driver's licence or a NEXUS card. Our pages on documents for entering Canada and the Rainbow Bridge explain what to expect, and our border crossing guide covers all four Niagara bridges. We never promise a crossing time.
Making the most of Niagara
Bostonians tend to come for a long weekend. Our Niagara hotels guide covers every area, and the Fallsview hotels look straight down at the Horseshoe Falls; a chauffeured Niagara Falls private tour covers the Parkway, the gorge and Niagara-on-the-Lake in one day. For a multi-city trip through the Northeast, see how our New York City to Niagara Falls tour is put together, or ask the travel desk to build the whole thing.
How to book in 3 steps

Want more background before you book? Our guide to chauffeur vs taxi vs rideshare sets out when each one makes sense, and the fleet page shows every vehicle.
The Boston fleet, by class
Think of the Boston fleet in three sizes. For one to three people: the Standard Sedan (Cadillac XTS or similar, 2 large bags), or the Mercedes-Benz E / S-Class, Mercedes-Maybach and Rolls-Royce for two. For up to six: the Standard SUV (Suburban or Yukon XL, with room for 6 bags), the Escalade- or Navigator-class Executive Black SUV, and the Executive Jet Sprinter, which seats 6 with 2 bags apiece. For bigger parties: the Executive Sprinter (12, carry-on only), the Party Bus (12), the Stretch Limousine (8) and the Stretch SUV Limousine (16), with coaches on request. The exact model is confirmed when you book. Child seats, a wheelchair-accessible request and trained service animals are all handled through the booker.
Who we drive in Boston
Individuals book the red-eye pickup at Terminal E when the rideshare line is long. Couples book a car for an anniversary dinner in the North End and a drive to the Falls. Families choose an SUV for Logan pickups with strollers and car seats. Groups of colleagues or wedding guests share a Sprinter. Our groups page explains how we plan larger moves.
Cancellation
Cancel more than 72 hours before the pickup time and there is no charge. Inside 72 hours the charge is 10%, inside 48 hours it is 50%, and inside 24 hours, or if nobody turns up, it is the full fare. Prom nights, long weekends and large weddings can have an earlier deadline, which is then printed on your confirmation. If you are heading west, our Albany car service page covers the Thruway corridor, New York car service covers Manhattan and its three airports, and every other city sits on our US limo and car service page.
Frequently asked questions
How much is a limo in Boston?
Your exact pickup, drop-off and vehicle produce one fixed all-in fare in the booker, shown before you pay and never surge-priced. Vehicle class, distance and waiting time all affect it. For Boston to Niagara Falls, a table of one-way fares by vehicle appears on this page.
Where do I meet my car service at Boston Logan?
At the limo stand for your terminal: a lot across from the Arrivals curb at Terminal A, the Departures curb between doors B-205 and B-208 at Terminal B, the ground level of the Central Parking Garage for Terminal C, and E Lot 2 on Arrivals at Terminal E. With meet & greet, your chauffeur waits inside.
How long is the drive from Boston to Niagara Falls?
About 757 km (471 mi) and a little over nine hours of driving, so plan on 9 h 15 to 10 h 30 with stops, plus the border. The route follows the Massachusetts Turnpike and the New York State Thruway almost the whole way.
Is it better to fly or drive from Boston to Niagara Falls?
One or two people with light bags will usually get there faster by flying into Buffalo Niagara (BUF) and riding the last 35 to 40 km with us. For families and groups with luggage, a private car from your door avoids airports altogether and arrives at your hotel entrance.
Can I book a car from Logan straight to Niagara Falls?
Yes. Put Boston Logan in the pickup field and your Niagara hotel in the drop-off field. You get one fixed price for the whole journey; the chauffeur watches your flight and heads for the Turnpike as soon as the bags are loaded.
Who will be driving me in Boston?
Your chauffeur works for an independent operator in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, one we have vetted and that holds its licences and commercial insurance. The booking, the payment and every change go through NiagaraFallsLimo.net and our 24/7 desk.
Can you take a group to a game at Gillette Stadium?
Yes. Gillette is about 46 km (29 mi) south of downtown Boston. A Party Bus or Executive Sprinter carries up to 12, and a Stretch SUV Limousine up to 16, subject to availability. Book point to point or by the hour so the vehicle is there when the game ends.
Do I need a passport to go from Boston to Niagara Falls, Canada?
Yes, or an equivalent document, for every passenger and for both crossings. Americans going by car can show any one of these: passport, passport card, enhanced driver's licence, NEXUS card. If you fly to Toronto instead of Buffalo, the airline will want a passport book.
