Burlington is where Halton meets the Niagara Peninsula. Cross the Skyway and the QEW runs almost straight to the Falls, which makes a round trip from Burlington one of the easiest days we book. NiagaraFallsLimo.net also handles the rest of Burlington's driving: early flights from Hamilton and Pearson, prom nights, weddings at the botanical gardens and dinners on Brant Street where nobody wants to be the driver.
How far is Burlington from Niagara Falls by limo?
Downtown Burlington is about 73 km (45 mi) from the Fallsview hotels in Niagara Falls, Ontario, usually 50 minutes to 1 h 10 by the QEW over the Burlington Skyway. NiagaraFallsLimo.net books limo service in Burlington and round trips to the Falls; enter both addresses online and the booker shows a fixed fare before you pay.
Burlington GO is about 76 km from the Falls and Aldershot about 78 km; Appleby and the north end add a few kilometres more. Expect longer on a summer Friday afternoon or a long-weekend Saturday, when the QEW slows through Grimsby and St. Catharines. Every Burlington trip is dispatched by NiagaraFallsLimo.net and driven by our licensed, commercially insured chauffeurs.
Burlington to Niagara Falls and back: three ways to book it
The day trip
Most Burlington families book a return trip and are home for dinner. A plan that works in any season:
- Morning: pickup at your door around 9:30, at Table Rock by about 10:40.
- Late morning: the Horseshoe Falls up close, then Journey Behind the Falls, which runs year-round, or the boat with Niagara City Cruises in the warmer months.
- Lunch: somewhere on the gorge; the chauffeur waits or meets you at the next stop.
- Afternoon: the Niagara Parkway to Niagara-on-the-Lake for a walk on Queen Street or a tasting or two; our Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries guide helps choose.
- Late afternoon: back over the Skyway, home before 18:00.
Book it "By the hour" if you want freedom to linger, or as a return with fixed times. For a programme chosen for you, look at our Niagara Falls tour packages or the Niagara wine tour limo.
The overnight
The fireworks and the illuminated Falls are an evening thing, so a lot of Burlington couples stay over. Book the outbound ride, a night in one of the Fallsview hotels, and a pickup the next afternoon; the second leg can start in Niagara-on-the-Lake after brunch.
One way
A one-way ride suits a wedding at the Falls, a casino night with a hotel room, or a group that is taking a different way home. Our casino limo page covers late pickups at the gaming floors.

The Skyway, and what happens when it is closed
From downtown and Aldershot the QEW climbs onto the Burlington Bay James N. Allan Skyway, the high bridge over the mouth of Hamilton Harbour, and drops you on the Hamilton beach strip with the Niagara run ahead. It is the reason Burlington is so quick to the Falls. It is also exposed: strong winds have closed lanes, and at times the whole bridge, in the past. Our desk checks Ontario 511 on windy days and, if the Skyway is restricted, the chauffeur routes through Hamilton instead, which adds time but keeps you moving. Riders can check the same map before a pickup.
The journal post on Burlington to Niagara Falls in under an hour has more on timing the bridge, and the shared Halton page on Oakville and Burlington to Niagara Falls car service compares the two starts.

Limo service around Burlington
Away from the Falls, most Burlington bookings are local or regional.
- Downtown and the lakeshore. Brant Street restaurants, the waterfront by Spencer Smith Park and the Brant Street Pier, and the condos along Lakeshore Road. Evening drop-offs here are quick; pickups after a busy summer night take a little planning, so we agree a corner in advance.
- Aldershot. Close to the Royal Botanical Gardens, the 403 and Aldershot GO, which makes it a natural meeting point for trains.
- Appleby, Millcroft and Orchard. Suburban streets with easy access to the QEW and 407 ETR, where most of our early airport pickups happen.
- Alton Village and the north end. Near the 407 and Highway 5; a sensible start for Pearson.
The Burlington Performing Arts Centre at 440 Locust Street, by Elgin Street, is a short downtown drop-off on show nights, and the gardens on Plains Road are a frequent wedding stop. For anything that does not fit a single A-to-B ride, the hourly chauffeur books a car and driver for as long as you need, and the City of Burlington site lists what is on in town.
Burlington airport limo: Hamilton and Pearson
Burlington is nearly equidistant from two airports, which is a real advantage.
- John C. Munro Hamilton International (YHM), about 34 km from downtown Burlington, usually 35–45 minutes via the 403 and the Linc. The airport's airlines and destinations page lists Porter and WestJet, including WestJet's Calgary flights and seasonal sun routes. See our Hamilton airport limo page.
- Toronto Pearson (YYZ), about 52 km, usually 45 minutes to 1 h 10 by the QEW and 403 or the 407 ETR. Most long-haul and US flights leave from here; our Toronto Pearson airport transfer page explains terminal pickups.
- Billy Bishop Toronto City (YTZ) on the Toronto Islands is further, but convenient for Porter's short hops; see the Billy Bishop airport page.
We track every flight, so a delayed arrival simply moves the pickup. Meet and greet inside the terminal, child seats and boosters are options in the booker.
Party bus and limo rental in Burlington
Graduations, birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette weekends and anniversary dinners keep our Burlington group vehicles busy. A typical stag might leave from Aldershot, have dinner in Hamilton and finish at the casino in Niagara Falls with one bus waiting all night.
- Party Bus, up to 12 passengers, and Stretch SUV Limousine, up to 16, with availability confirmed at booking.
- Stretch Limousine, up to 8, for a smaller wedding party or a prom group.
- Executive Sprinter, up to 12, for groups that want a quieter ride with room for carry-on bags.
No drinking on board: Niagara Region's vehicle-for-hire by-law forbids a driver to permit it, and Ontario's liquor law has no limousine exception. Our party bus and prom limo pages explain school-event rules, timing and the cancellation deadlines that apply on peak weekends.
Weddings at the gardens and the lake
Royal Botanical Gardens, Canada's largest botanical garden, has Hendrie Park and the RBG Centre at 680 Plains Road West in Burlington and the Rock Garden on York Boulevard in Hamilton, and its weddings and rentals pages cover both. With photos in one garden and a reception in another, timing the cars matters more than the vehicle choice. Our usual plan: a stretch or Rolls-Royce for the couple, a Sprinter for the wedding party, a sedan for the parents, all on one booking with every stop listed. The wedding limo page has a full-day example, and planners can see our event and wedding planner terms.
Corporate car service in Burlington
Burlington's offices sit along the QEW and 407 corridors, halfway between Toronto and Hamilton, so a day of meetings can mean three cities. A Mercedes-Benz E / S-Class or an Executive Black SUV booked by the hour keeps the schedule and the luggage in one place. Chauffeurs say little and remember less, and NDAs are available. Repeat business travel is covered on our corporate transportation page.

| GO train to Niagara Falls | Station to station; limited direct trips, more on weekends | GO fare by distance | What you can carry | Solo riders near Burlington or Aldershot GO with a train that fits |
| GO train plus Route 12 bus | Longer; the bus holds for train connections | GO fare by distance | Limited | Flexible schedules, light bags |
| Rideshare | Direct when a car accepts | Surge pricing at peak times | Varies | One or two people, one way |
| Taxi | Direct | Metered | Trunk | Short notice, one way |

| Private chauffeur | Your door to the Falls and back | Fixed fare via booker | Sized to your group | Car seats, groups, tastings, late nights, trips into New York |
Be honest with yourself about the trip. If you are one person with a backpack and a train leaves Burlington GO at the right time, GO Transit is the better choice, and Route 12 buses fill gaps. Our guide to getting to Niagara by train and bus explains the options. The chauffeur makes sense once there are car seats, four or more of you, wineries in the plan, a late return after the fireworks or a crossing into the United States, where the driver comes over the bridge with you and every passenger carries their own documents (see crossing the border by car).

Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to get from Burlington to Niagara Falls by car?
Usually 50 minutes to 1 h 10 from downtown Burlington to the Fallsview district, a distance of about 73 km (45 mi). The north end and Alton Village add a few minutes. Summer weekends, long weekends and any restriction on the Skyway can add more, so we time fixed pickups with that in mind.
Can a limo pick us up in Burlington and bring us back from the Falls the same day?
Yes. Book a return trip with both times, or "By the hour" if you want the chauffeur with you between stops. The car can include Niagara-on-the-Lake or a winery on the way back, and the booker shows the fixed fare for the full plan before you pay.
Which airport is best from Burlington?
Hamilton (YHM) is the closer, about 34 km and 35–45 minutes, and quick to get through. Toronto Pearson (YYZ) is about 52 km and has far more destinations. We serve both with flight tracking and optional meet and greet, so choose by flight rather than by the ride.
Is there a train from Burlington to Niagara Falls?
GO Transit's Lakeshore West line stops at Burlington and Aldershot, and some trains continue to Niagara Falls, with more trips on weekends. Route 12 GO buses connect Burlington with Niagara and hold for train connections. Check GO's own timetable for your date.
Do you rent party buses in Burlington?
Yes. Burlington groups choose between our 12-seat party bus and the 16-seat stretch SUV limousine, availability confirmed when you book, mostly for proms, stags, birthdays and casino nights. There is no drinking on board, under Niagara Region's by-law and Ontario's liquor law.
What if the Skyway is closed when we need to leave?
High winds occasionally restrict the Burlington Skyway. Our desk watches Ontario 511, and the chauffeur takes the route through Hamilton instead, which is slower but reliable. If a closure affects a flight or a ceremony time, we will tell you before pickup and adjust.
How much is a limo from Burlington to Niagara Falls?
The price depends on the vehicle class, the time and whether the car waits. Enter your pickup and drop-off in the booker and it shows the fixed all-in fare before you pay; Burlington to Niagara Falls and back is also listed by vehicle on this page.
