The tower at 6700 Fallsview Boulevard changed its name in spring 2026. What many travellers still call the Embassy Suites is now the Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview, which Hyatt introduced on 1 April 2026 as the first Hyatt hotel in Niagara Falls. If you booked your room some time ago, your confirmation may still show the old brand. NiagaraFallsLimo.net knows both names and sends the chauffeur to the same front door. This page covers the airport runs, the distances, the Incline Railway behind the hotel and the easiest way to book a fixed-fare car.
Is the Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview the old Embassy Suites?
Yes. The former Embassy Suites by Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview at 6700 Fallsview Boulevard became the Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview on 1 April 2026. It is about 125 km (78 mi) from Toronto Pearson, usually 1 h 30 – 1 h 50. NiagaraFallsLimo.net shows a fixed fare for the trip in its online booker.
The rebrand is documented in Hyatt's own announcement, and Niagara Falls Tourism lists the hotel at 6700 Fallsview Boulevard. When you enter the pickup in our booker, use the Hyatt name; if a colleague's itinerary still says Embassy Suites, it is the same place.
The building, in a few numbers
Hyatt describes the hotel as 611 rooms and suites over 42 floors, in its Classics Portfolio, with many rooms looking over the Horseshoe and American Falls. Rooms have Nespresso machines and mini-fridges; suites keep a separate living and sleeping area. There is an indoor pool, a fitness centre and more than 20,000 sq ft of meeting and banquet space.
Niagara Falls Tourism's listing adds the details guests ask us about most:
- Dining: STK Steakhouse Fallsview, TGI Fridays and a Starbucks.
- Distance to the Falls: about 100 yards to the brink, roughly a ten-minute walk.
- The Falls Incline Railway runs from directly behind the hotel down to the Horseshoe Falls; Niagara Parks describes the Incline Railway as a year-round, accessible, climate-controlled link to Table Rock Centre.
- Parking, as of 2026: off-site park and ride at $35 CDN, on-site self-parking at $70 CDN and full valet at $100 CDN per night, plus taxes, according to the listing.
Those parking rates are the hotel's, not ours, and they are one of the reasons some guests leave the car at home and use a chauffeur for the airport legs and one big day out.
Pickups at 6700 Fallsview Boulevard
The chauffeur meets you at the hotel's main entrance on Fallsview Boulevard, under the canopy, at the booked time. The frontage gets busy at dinner time, when restaurant guests arrive. If you would like to be collected at a particular door, or after a function in the meeting rooms, add it to the booker notes; we will follow it as far as the hotel's staff allow.
Arriving by air, the order is reversed: the car brings you to the same entrance and the bell staff take the bags.
If your paperwork still says Embassy Suites
Rebrands leave a trail. Conference packs printed last year, travel-agent itineraries and older loyalty bookings may carry the Embassy Suites name, and some map apps take a while to catch up. None of that matters for your car. Three habits keep things simple:
- Book us under the Hyatt name and the 6700 Fallsview Boulevard address; the booker will match it.
- If a colleague or a family member is booking separately, send them this page so everyone uses the same pickup point.
- For group arrivals, give us the name on the room block so the chauffeur can confirm arrivals with the front desk by group name.
Distances from the Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview
Rounded road distances with typical off-peak drive times:
- Toronto Pearson (YYZ): about 125 km (78 mi), 1 h 30 – 1 h 50; allow 2 h 15+ on a summer Friday or a holiday weekend.
- Union Station, downtown Toronto: about 129 km (80 mi), 1 h 35 – 2 h.
- Buffalo Niagara (BUF): about 42 km (26 mi), 45 min – 1 h on the road, with border time on top.

The Pearson run, minute by minute
For an arrival with meet & greet, the chauffeur is inside Pearson's arrivals hall holding a name board when you clear customs. We track the flight, so an early or late landing simply shifts the start. Pearson directs pre-arranged pickups to Terminal 1 Door A and Terminal 3 Door A, which keeps the walk to the car short.
The QEW then carries you around the western end of Lake Ontario. Expect the slowest stretch near Burlington on weekday afternoons. After St. Catharines the road turns toward Niagara Falls, and from the highway exit it is a few minutes to the top of the ridge. Our Pearson to Niagara Falls transfer page has more on luggage, delays and night arrivals, and travellers starting downtown can use the Toronto to Niagara Falls route.

Through Buffalo, across the river
Flights into Buffalo Niagara International can be the better option from US cities. From the airport the car follows the interstate to the river and crosses either the Rainbow Bridge or the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, depending on live waits. Into Canada, each passenger shows their own documents; US citizens are advised by the Canada Border Services Agency to carry a passport, and our page on documents for entering Canada sets out the alternatives. The toll is paid entering Canada only.
The Buffalo airport transfer page explains timing for departures, and the border wait times page shows where we check the queues before every crossing. Nobody can promise the length of a crossing, and we do not try to.
Evenings and day trips from the Hyatt
Because the Incline Railway sits behind the hotel, the brink of the Falls, Journey Behind the Falls and the Table Rock area are all within easy reach on foot in daytime. Cars come into their own after dark and beyond the ridge:
- A night loop past the illuminated Falls, the Rainbow Bridge and Dufferin Islands during the Winter Festival of Lights, with the car waiting at each stop.
- Dinner off the ridge, in Niagara-on-the-Lake or across the river in New York State.
- Wine country by the hour. The tasting rooms are 25 to 35 minutes north. See the Niagara-on-the-Lake wine tour and the Twenty Valley and Beamsville Bench guide if you want to go further west. The car exists so nobody drives after tastings; there is no drinking in our vehicles, and sealed bottles you buy travel in the back.
Meetings and events at the Hyatt
With more than 20,000 sq ft of function space, the hotel hosts conferences, weddings and incentive groups. For planners, we handle airport waves (several cars timed to different flights), shuttles between the Hyatt and another venue, and a single coordinated departure. A coach can be arranged on request for large groups. Our corporate car service page explains invoicing and repeat bookings, and event and wedding planners will find the planning notes there.

Hyatt Regency to Pearson: which way is best?
| Way to travel | Door-to-door time | Cost note | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NiagaraFallsLimo.net chauffeur | 1 h 30 – 2 h from the hotel entrance | Fixed fare via the booker, before you pay | Matched to your vehicle choice | Families, groups, early flights, Buffalo departures |
| Taxi | Same drive, plus finding a cab | Metered | One car | Short trips in Niagara Falls |
| Rideshare | Same drive, if accepted | Surge pricing at peak times | One car unless upgraded | One person, one bag |
| WEGO bus, then GO train or bus | 2 h 30 – 3 h+ with connections | Published fares; WEGO adult 24-hour pass $16 (as of 2026) | Carry-on only, realistically | Budget travellers with time |
| Your own car | 1 h 30 – 2 h | Fuel, plus hotel parking (self-park $70 CDN/night, as of 2026) | Your boot | Road-trippers touring Ontario |
The plain truth: one traveller with light luggage and an afternoon flight can use public transit, and Niagara Parks' WEGO bus links the hotel areas with Table Rock. A taxi is fine for a quick ride to Clifton Hill. A pre-booked chauffeur is the right call for children in car seats, big suitcases, groups, a pre-dawn departure or a border crossing. The longer version is in chauffeur vs taxi vs rideshare.

Frequently asked questions
When did the Embassy Suites Fallsview become the Hyatt Regency?
Hyatt introduced the Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview on 1 April 2026. The hotel at 6700 Fallsview Boulevard was previously the Embassy Suites by Hilton Niagara Falls Fallsview. The address and building are the same, so a chauffeur booked under either name arrives at the same entrance.
How far is the Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview from Pearson?
About 125 km (78 mi) by the QEW. In normal traffic the drive usually takes 1 h 30 to 1 h 50; allow 2 h 15 or more on summer Fridays and holiday weekends. We track arriving flights and adjust the pickup time if you land early or late.
How close is the Hyatt Regency to the Falls?
Niagara Falls Tourism describes it as about 100 yards from the brink of the Falls, roughly a ten-minute walk, and Hyatt describes it as the closest Canadian hotel to the Falls. The Falls Incline Railway runs from directly behind the hotel down to the Horseshoe Falls area.
What is the price of a car from the Hyatt Regency to Buffalo airport?
The booker shows the fixed all-in fare for your exact pickup, drop-off and vehicle before you pay. Enter the hotel and Buffalo Niagara International with your date and time to see every vehicle class. Each passenger needs their own valid documents for the US border.
Is the Hyatt Regency connected to Fallsview Casino?
Hyatt's announcement says the hotel is within walking distance of the casino and entertainment, but it does not describe an indoor connection. If you want to stay connected indoors to Fallsview Casino Resort, the Hilton and the Wyndham Grand advertise that link; our pages on those hotels explain more.
Can we leave our car at home and rely on a chauffeur?
Many guests do. As of 2026 Niagara Falls Tourism lists on-site self-parking at $70 CDN a night and valet at $100 CDN at the hotel. Booking a chauffeur for the airport legs and one day out, and walking or using the Incline Railway for the rest, is a common pattern.
Do you have child seats and wheelchair options?
Yes. Child, toddler and booster seats and a wheelchair option are available in the booker. Add them when you enter passengers, and describe any mobility aid in the notes so we can confirm the right vehicle before the day of travel.
