There are two Niagaras within twenty minutes of each other. One is the Fallsview skyline, the roar of the Horseshoe Falls and dinner 775 feet up. The other is Niagara-on-the-Lake: vineyards along the Niagara Stone Road, Georgian inns and a theatre festival that has been running since 1962. A luxury Niagara Falls weekend works best when it uses both, and when the transfers between them are invisible.
That last part is where NiagaraFallsLimo.net comes in. What follows is a weekend plan we would recommend to a couple who wants the best of the region without driving a metre of it.
What does a luxury Niagara Falls weekend include?
A luxury Niagara weekend pairs a Falls-view suite with a day in Niagara-on-the-Lake's tasting rooms, about 20–24 km (12–15 mi) north, and a chauffeur for every leg. NiagaraFallsLimo.net offers Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Maybach and Escalade-class cars, each with a fixed all-in fare shown in the online booker.
The structure below runs Friday to Sunday. Swap the days around to suit your reservations, because the restaurant and theatre bookings usually set the timetable, not the other way round.
Choosing the car before choosing the suite
The car is the thread through the whole weekend, so pick it with the itinerary in mind:
- Rolls-Royce or Mercedes-Maybach, each for up to two passengers and two bags. These are the cars for an arrival at the hotel's porte-cochère and an evening at the theatre. Both are "availability confirmed at booking", so reserve early for a holiday weekend.
- Mercedes-Benz E-Class or S-Class, up to two passengers. Discreet, quiet and a sensible choice for the winery day, when the car will stop and start many times.
- Executive Black SUV (Escalade or Navigator), up to six passengers and six bags. The right answer if you are arriving from Toronto Pearson with real luggage, or travelling as two couples.
Many clients mix them: the SUV for the airport run with suitcases, the Rolls-Royce or Maybach for Saturday night. Our private chauffeur service and the fleet page set out each class in detail.
Friday: arrival and a suite above the Falls
Toronto Pearson to Fallsview is about 120–125 km (75–78 mi), usually 1 h 30 – 1 h 45 off-peak; on a summer Friday afternoon allow 2 h or more, because the Queen Elizabeth Way slows through Burlington and St. Catharines. Flight tracking is standard, and meet and greet puts the chauffeur inside arrivals with a name board. Arriving by private jet? Signature Toronto, the FBO at Pearson, operates 24/7, and our private jet and FBO transfers page covers the hand-off on the ramp side.
For the suite, the Fallsview strip offers the most dramatic views. The Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview (the former Embassy Suites, renamed in April 2026) has 611 rooms and suites on 42 floors, and its 9th-floor steakhouse is STK. Our Hyatt Regency Fallsview page explains the drop-off. The Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa on Fallsview Boulevard is the choice if a spa on site matters on arrival night.
Dinner on Friday is a short ride or a walk. The Skylon Tower's Revolving Dining Room sits 775 feet above the Falls and turns a full circle once an hour, and Skylon recommends reservations, especially for dinner. A sibling post covers Skylon dinner by limousine, including where the car waits.
Saturday: the tasting-room day
Niagara-on-the-Lake is where the weekend slows down. From Fallsview to Trius on Niagara Stone Road is about 20–21 km (13 mi), usually 25–30 minutes via the Niagara Parkway or the QEW. Once you are in wine country, the wineries sit close together: Stratus Vineyards is about 2–3 km from the Pillar and Post, a few minutes by car.
A route we like for a quiet, high-quality day:
- Late morning at Stratus Vineyards, 2059 Niagara Stone Road, known for founding winemaker J-L Groux's assemblage (blended) wines.
- Lunch at Trius Winery Restaurant, which says it has been Niagara-on-the-Lake's only MICHELIN Guide-recommended restaurant for three years, with tasting menus and pairings. Trius and Peller now take bookings through the Andrew Peller site (mywinecountry.com). Note that The Winery Restaurant at Peller Estates is closed for renovation until November 13, 2026.
- An afternoon at Southbrook Vineyards, 581 Niagara Stone Road, which describes itself as organic and biodynamic.
Two rules make this day work. First, there is no drinking in our vehicles; Niagara Region's vehicle-for-hire by-law forbids a driver to permit it, so the tasting stays at the winery and the car is simply the quiet space between stops. Second, if you want a bottle waiting as a gift to take home, the booker lets you add a sealed bottle as an extra. Our Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries guide lists more estates and how long to allow at each.
Saturday night: Old Town and the theatre
Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake is compact enough to walk, but not in evening shoes after a long day. The Prince of Wales Hotel at 6 Picton Street is the landmark address, and Vintage Hotels also runs Queen's Landing and the Pillar and Post nearby.
The Shaw Festival's 2026 season runs to December 23. Its holiday productions are Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella at the Festival Theatre (previews from November 8) and A Year with Frog and Toad at the newly rebuilt Court House Theatre (previews from November 5), both through December 23 (Shaw Festival). Our Shaw Festival page covers drop-off at each theatre.
For a dinner that is the reason for the trip, Restaurant Pearl Morissette serves an ever-changing regional menu Wednesday to Sunday evenings, with lunch on Saturdays, and takes bookings through Tock (Pearl Morissette). It is a destination meal, so book the table first and the car second.
Sunday: spa, air or river
Choose one slow morning before the drive home:
- 100 Fountain Spa at the Pillar and Post, 48 John Street West, for a treatment before checkout (100 Fountain Spa).
- Riverbend Inn & Vineyard, 16104 Niagara River Parkway, a Georgian mansion on 17 acres with 21 rooms and the Oaklands restaurant, for a late brunch on the way south (Riverbend Inn). It is about 21 km (13 mi) from Fallsview, usually 25–30 minutes.
- Niagara Helicopters, which flies daily from 9 am until sunset, weather permitting, and offers a flight that pairs the Falls with wine country.
Then the car takes you back to Pearson, about 120 km (75 mi) from Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake and usually 1 h 40 – 1 h 50, or to the FBO for a jet departure.
Picking the right weekend
The calendar changes the character of the trip more than the hotel does:
- Spring to autumn brings the full Shaw Festival season (April 2 to December 23 in 2026), patios at the wineries and boats on the river below the Falls.
- November weekends in Niagara-on-the-Lake bring Taste the Season, which ran Fridays to Sundays from November 6 to 29 in 2026, with food and wine pairings at participating wineries, and the start of the free Winter Festival of Lights on November 14.
- Deep winter is icewine season. The Niagara Icewine Festival's village on Queen Street usually takes place over two weekends in January, and the Falls themselves, edged with ice, are at their most photogenic.
Long weekends book out first, for suites and for the Rolls-Royce and Maybach alike, so reserve both as soon as the dates are fixed.
Privacy, discretion and the details
High-end clients often care more about what does not happen than what does. Our chauffeurs are licensed, commercially insured and discreet, and NDAs are available on request. We are not a security company, but the booker offers a VIP security add-on and our chauffeurs work alongside a client's own protection team when there is one. Child seats, a wheelchair option and meet and greet are all in the booker if the weekend includes family.
Chauffeur vs rideshare vs taxi for this trip
| Mode | Door-to-door time | Cost note | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rideshare app | Similar drive; vehicle varies | Surge pricing on busy weekends | Car-dependent | Short hops when the class of car is unimportant |
| Taxi | Similar drive; call ahead in NOTL | Metered | One or two cases | A quick ride between Old Town and a winery |
| Train or bus | 2 h+ with transfers | Per-person public fares | What you carry | Not practical for this itinerary |
| Winery shuttle | Fixed loop | Per-person ticket | Day bag | Visitors who want company more than control |
| Driving yourself | 1 h 30 – 2 h from Toronto | Fuel, valet or parking | Plenty | Not suited to a tasting day |
| Private chauffeur | Direct, timed to reservations | Fixed fare via booker, per vehicle | SUV: 6 bags | Every leg of this weekend |
Our view: for a single short hop between Old Town and a winery, a taxi is fine if one is available. For a weekend built on fixed dinner times, curtain-up and tasting appointments, a pre-booked chauffeur is the only option that guarantees the car, the class and the timing, and removes the question of who drives after the tastings.
Booking it with NiagaraFallsLimo.net in 3 steps
- Map the weekend in the booker. Use "By the hour" for the winery day and point-to-point legs for the airport and the theatre; enter pickups, times and flight numbers in the online booker.
- Pick the class for each leg. Rolls-Royce, Maybach, S-Class or Escalade, each with its own fixed fare.
- Finish the details. Add meet and greet, a sealed gift bottle or a VIP security add-on, pay securely and keep the email confirmation.
Who this weekend is for
This plan is written for couples, and our page for couples has more ideas, including the gentler babymoon version in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Individuals travelling for a milestone can follow it with a Maybach or S-Class. Families can keep the structure and swap the tasting day for the Butterfly Conservatory and Floral Showhouse. Two couples sharing an Escalade-class SUV keep the same comfort with one vehicle. Couples who would rather not drive at all should also read our two-day plan without driving.
Frequently asked questions
Can I book a Rolls-Royce in Niagara Falls?
Yes. NiagaraFallsLimo.net lists a Rolls-Royce and a Mercedes-Maybach, each for up to two passengers and two bags. Availability is confirmed at booking, so reserve early for long weekends and the Shaw Festival's holiday season. The booker shows the fixed fare for your exact trip before you pay.
What is the most luxurious hotel area in Niagara Falls?
Fallsview Boulevard has the high-floor suites with direct views of the Horseshoe Falls, including the Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview, with 42 floors. For a quieter luxury stay, Niagara-on-the-Lake's Prince of Wales, Pillar and Post and Riverbend Inn trade the view of the Falls for gardens, vineyards and Old Town streets.
Can we drink champagne in the car between wineries?
No. Drinking is not permitted in our vehicles: Niagara Region's by-law forbids vehicle-for-hire drivers to permit alcohol consumption, and Ontario's Liquor Licence and Control Act has no limousine exception. You can taste at the wineries, and add a sealed bottle in the booker as a gift to take away.
How far is Niagara-on-the-Lake from the Fallsview hotels?
About 20–24 km (12–15 mi) depending on the address, usually 25–35 minutes by the Niagara Parkway or the QEW. Trius on Niagara Stone Road is about 20 km from Fallsview, and Old Town's Queen Street is about 23 km.
Is there a Michelin-recommended restaurant in Niagara-on-the-Lake?
Trius Winery Restaurant says it has been Niagara-on-the-Lake's only MICHELIN Guide-recommended restaurant for three years, carrying the 2026 badge. It offers tasting menus with wine pairings. Bookings for Trius and Peller now run through the Andrew Peller site.
Can the chauffeur meet our private jet?
Yes. We handle transfers from FBOs including Signature Toronto at Pearson, which is open 24/7 with on-site customs and immigration during limited weekday hours. Give the FBO and the arrival time in the booking, and the chauffeur meets you there.
Do your chauffeurs sign NDAs?
On request, yes. Chauffeurs are discreet as standard and are licensed and commercially insured. NiagaraFallsLimo.net is not a security company, but a VIP security add-on is available in the booker, and chauffeurs work alongside a client's own security team.
