Some guests still type "Crowne Plaza" into a booking form, and a few older taxi drivers still call it the General Brock. Since April 2025 the name to use is The Brock Niagara Falls-Fallsview, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and NiagaraFallsLimo.net collects guests from its Falls Avenue entrance for airport runs, border crossings, winery days and wedding schedules. This page gathers the verified details, so the car and the booking line up with the hotel you are actually staying in.
Where is The Brock Niagara Falls-Fallsview, and how does a chauffeur pickup work?
The Brock Niagara Falls-Fallsview is at 5685 Falls Avenue, Niagara Falls, Ontario, at the foot of Clifton Hill and about 600 m from the Rainbow Bridge. NiagaraFallsLimo.net drives guests from Toronto Pearson (about 125 km, usually 1 h 30 – 1 h 45 off-peak) and Buffalo. Enter the hotel in the online booker to see the fixed fare.
The hotel belongs to the Falls Avenue Resort, a 20-acre cluster of connected hotels, restaurants and attractions beside Casino Niagara. Our hotels hub lists every pickup guide we publish, and the Fallsview hotels area guide explains how the towers up on Fallsview Boulevard differ from the older Falls Avenue properties down by the river.
Names to know: from the General Brock to Tapestry Collection
The hotel's own history booklet records that it opened on July 1, 1929 as the General Brock Hotel, named for Major General Sir Isaac Brock, the British commander killed at Queenston Heights in 1812. Marilyn Monroe stayed there while filming Niagara. Over the decades it carried other names; on April 17, 2008 it became the Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls-Fallsview.
On April 3, 2025 the hotel announced its new identity as The Brock Niagara Falls-Fallsview, joining Hilton's Tapestry Collection after a $15 million transformation of its rooms, suites and public spaces.
Why this matters for a transfer: when you book, enter "The Brock Niagara Falls-Fallsview, 5685 Falls Avenue". Old confirmation emails, travel-agent itineraries and some map apps may still say Crowne Plaza. If yours does, it is the same building, and our desk will confirm the address with you. If the history interests you, Brock's Monument at Queenston Heights, where the general is buried, is about 15 minutes north on the Niagara Parkway; the Friends of Fort George publish its visiting details.

Those details come from the Falls Avenue Resort page for The Brock. For dinners further afield, our Niagara Falls restaurants guide covers the city and the Niagara Parks dining rooms.
Meeting your chauffeur on Falls Avenue
Pickups and drop-offs happen at the hotel's main entrance on Falls Avenue unless you arrange another point. Your chauffeur messages when the car is in place and names the exact spot.
Because The Brock connects indoors to the casino, the waterpark and the rest of the resort, guests are often somewhere other than their room when the car arrives. Tell us in the booking notes if you will be coming from Casino Niagara, the waterpark or a restaurant elsewhere in the complex, and allow a few minutes for the walk through. Falls Avenue sits at the bottom of Clifton Hill, and on summer evenings the street fills with visitors on foot; a pickup at a fixed time beats trying to flag anything down.
The closest Fallsview-area hotel to the Rainbow Bridge
From The Brock's door, the Canadian plaza of the Rainbow Bridge is about 600 m. That makes it the most convenient hotel in this guide for a day on the New York side: Niagara Falls State Park, the observation tower at Prospect Point, Goat Island and the Maid of the Mist. The Maid of the Mist runs from the US side; its own border-crossing page lists the documents Canadians and Americans need.
Our Rainbow Bridge guide covers lanes and tolls. The short distance does not shorten the queue, which depends on the inspection booths that day, so we never promise a crossing time. The chauffeur crosses with you on our cross-border car service, and every passenger carries their own valid document. The Lewiston-Queenston Bridge is about 11 km north and the Peace Bridge about 35 km south when the Rainbow is not the right fit.

A couples' weekend planned around the car
The Brock pitches itself at couples, and so do many of the bookings we take there. A typical two-day plan we drive looks like this:
- Arrival afternoon: Pearson pickup, check-in, high tea in the Fallsview Tea Room.
- Evening: dinner at Prime Steakhouse, then a short drive along the river to see the illuminated falls. The falls are lit every night of the year, and from mid-May to mid-October fireworks usually run at 10 p.m. (check our fireworks guide).
- Second day: Niagara-on-the-Lake, about 17–20 km and 25 minutes away, for a winery lunch and Old Town, or a Shaw Festival matinee. Wine days follow one rule: no drinking in our vehicles; the tastings happen at the estates.
- Departure: a late checkout and a car timed to the flight.
Proposals and anniversaries have their own page: proposal and anniversary limo. A Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Mercedes-Maybach or Rolls-Royce suits a night like that, with the last two confirmed at booking.
Weddings at The Brock
The hotel markets its venues for ceremonies and receptions. For wedding parties, the transport problem is usually guests, not the couple: getting family from other hotels to the ceremony on time and back again afterwards. An Executive Sprinter seats up to 12, a stretch SUV limousine up to 16, and coaches are available on request for larger groups. The couple's car is often the Rolls-Royce, availability confirmed at booking. Our Niagara Falls wedding limo page explains photo stops and timing.

When walking or a taxi makes more sense
From The Brock you can walk to Clifton Hill in a couple of minutes, and down to the Niagara City Cruises dock on the Niagara Parkway without a car at all. For an evening up the hill or along the river, walk. For a quick ride to a dinner reservation in town, a local taxi is fine.
A pre-booked car is worth it for the long legs: airport runs, the border, wine country, and any time a group of more than four needs to arrive together. Our chauffeur vs taxi vs rideshare guide lays the trade-offs out plainly.

Frequently asked questions
Is The Brock the same hotel as the Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls-Fallsview?
Yes. The former Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls-Fallsview at 5685 Falls Avenue became The Brock Niagara Falls-Fallsview, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, announced in April 2025 after a $15 million renovation. The building opened in 1929 as the General Brock Hotel. Book with the new name and the Falls Avenue address.
How far is The Brock from the Rainbow Bridge?
About 600 m by road to the Canadian bridge plaza, a minute or two in the car. That makes it a practical base for day trips to Niagara Falls State Park and the Maid of the Mist. Border queues vary by the hour, so allow time and make sure everyone carries their own valid document.
How long is the drive from Toronto Pearson to The Brock?
About 125 km (78 mi), usually 1 h 30 – 1 h 45 off-peak via the QEW. Summer Friday afternoons and long-weekend Sundays can push it past two hours. Your chauffeur tracks the flight, and meet and greet inside arrivals can be added in the booker.
Is The Brock connected to Casino Niagara?
Yes. Falls Avenue Resort says The Brock has indoor connections to Casino Niagara, the rest of the resort and the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark. If you will be in the casino or waterpark when your car is due, tell us in the booking notes and allow a few minutes to walk back to the entrance.
Can a chauffeur take us from The Brock to Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries?
Yes. The wineries are about 17–20 km away, roughly 25 minutes. Book your tastings with each estate, then choose "By the hour" in the booker so one car and chauffeur stay with you. There is no drinking in our vehicles; the chauffeur makes sure nobody drives after tastings.
What does a transfer from The Brock cost?
The booker shows the fixed all-in fare for your exact pickup, drop-off and vehicle before you pay. It depends on the distance, the class of vehicle and options such as meet and greet. There is no meter and no surge.
Can you pick up wedding guests from other hotels for a ceremony at The Brock?
Yes. Multi-stop bookings collect guests from several hotels, and Executive Sprinters, stretch SUV limousines and coaches on request handle larger groups. Planners can send a guest list and timing; our page for event and wedding planners explains how we work with them.
