The question families ask most about the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark is not about slides. It is about tickets: should we buy Fallsview waterpark tickets as day passes, or book a hotel package that includes the park? The answer depends on where you are sleeping, how many of you there are, and if you would rather have two short sessions or one long one. This guide sets out the options as the park describes them, then deals with the part nobody plans for: getting four children, four wet swimsuits and a stroller back to the hotel.

NiagaraFallsLimo.net drives families to the Falls Avenue Resort from airports, Toronto and other Niagara hotels, so here is the logistics view.

Should you buy a day pass or a hotel package?

Buy Fallsview Indoor Waterpark day passes online if you are staying at a hotel off Falls Avenue or visiting for one day; consider a package if you are staying at a connected Falls Avenue Resort hotel. The park is at 5685 Falls Avenue, about 2 km from Fallsview hotels. NiagaraFallsLimo.net handles the ride, with car seats, through its online booker.

The Fallsview Indoor Waterpark describes two routes in:

OptionWhat it coversTimingBest for
Day passOne person, park opening to closing on one daySingle dayFamilies staying elsewhere, day-trippers, one long session
Hotel packageWaterpark access for up to 4 guestsTwo days: from 1 p.m. on arrival to 3 p.m. the next day, unless otherwise statedFamilies sleeping at a partner hotel who want two shorter sessions

The four hotels the park lists for packages are the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel, the Skyline Hotel & Waterpark, The Brock Niagara Falls-Fallsview, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and the Clifton Victoria Inn at the Falls. The first three connect to the park by indoor walkways; the Clifton Victoria Inn is directly across the street. See our pages on the Sheraton Fallsview and The Brock for arrival details.

A package of four suits a family of four. A family of six would need extra day passes on top, and a family staying at, say, a Fallsview Boulevard tower has no package to buy, so day passes are the only way in. Prices change by season and are shown on the park's ticket page, so compare there on the day you book.

How day passes work

The park's rules are simple but worth knowing before you arrive:

  • Buy online in advance. The park recommends it. Passes are also sold at Waterpark Guest Services, but that option is subject to capacity, so on a busy holiday weekend a walk-up family can be turned away.
  • One pass, one day. Passes are sold individually and are valid from opening to closing on the day.
  • Everyone wears a wristband. That includes adults who only plan to sit and watch. If two parents come and one only supervises, both need wristbands.
  • Supervision rules. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult aged 16 or over who stays in the park while they swim. Children under 6 cannot be in the wave pool without adult supervision.

Opening hours vary through the year and are posted on the park's hours page. Check them before you book a car, because a midweek day in the off-season can mean shorter hours than a July Saturday.

What is inside, and the height rules that matter

The park lists 16 waterslides, up to six storeys high, plus pools for every age. The height rules decide which ones your children can ride:

  • Toob Tower (four tube slides): 42 inches minimum.
  • Extreme Racing Slides: body slides 42 inches, mat slides 48 inches.
  • The Canadian Plunge bowl: 42 inches.
  • Beach House Rain Fortress (eight slides, for ages 16 and under): most slides 40 inches, with two small slides that have no height minimum, and a 1,000-gallon tipping bucket overhead.
  • Tiny Tots Splash Park for small children. It closes daily from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. for a full water change, which is useful to know if you have a toddler and a fixed nap time.
  • The Tidal Wave wave pool, with 3- to 4-foot waves and a gradual beach entry. Children 9 and under and non-swimmers under 10 need a supervising adult 16 or older, or a life jacket; the park suggests bringing a Ministry of Transportation-approved one.
  • Horseshoe Hot Springs, for adults 16 and up.
  • Sunnyside Pool & Patio, an outdoor pool that opens seasonally, weather permitting.

The park keeps the water at about 29 to 30°C (84 to 86°F) and the air at about 30°C year-round, which matters for the trip home, as we will see.

What to pack, and what you will pay for on site

Towels are not complimentary; bring your own or buy one at the retail area. Lockers are digital, rented at self-serve kiosks that take credit cards only, and give all-day access. The Falls Avenue Resort around the park, a 20-acre complex of connected hotels with indoor access to Clifton Hill, has several restaurants, from a food court to sit-down dining. Parking for those who drive is in the attached garage and is not included in admission.

Our packing list for a waterpark day:

  1. Swimsuits worn under clothes, so nobody changes twice.
  2. A towel each, plus a spare.
  3. A large waterproof bag for wet things, one per family.
  4. Dry clothes and socks in a separate bag for the ride back.
  5. A credit card for the locker.
  6. Water shoes for small children, and an approved life jacket if you want one for the wave pool.

The wet-gear problem, solved

Here is the part that turns a good day into a tired one. The park is warm and humid; outside, for half the year, it is not. A family leaving at 6 p.m. in November steps from 30°C into a Niagara evening with damp hair and a bag of wet swimsuits.

Three habits help:

  • Change fully before leaving. Dry clothes on, wet things sealed in the bag.
  • Time the pickup to the exit. Send a message to the reservations desk when you are leaving the change rooms. The car is at the resort entrance rather than in a garage two levels down.
  • Keep the stroller and bags together. An SUV or Sprinter has room for everything in the back, so nothing damp sits on a lap.

If you drove yourself, you would be carrying the lot through the garage. If you took a rideshare, you would be waiting outside for one to accept. A booked car is already there.

Getting to the Falls Avenue Resort

From Toronto Pearson, the resort is about 121 km (75 mi), usually 1 h 30 to 1 h 45 off-peak and two hours or more on a summer Friday afternoon. Our Toronto Pearson transfer page explains meet and greet and car-seat options, and our earlier post on Pearson to Clifton Hill hotels for families covers check-in timing.

From Buffalo Niagara International, it is about 41 km (25 mi), usually 40 to 50 minutes plus whatever the border queue adds; every passenger needs their own documents, and our Rainbow Bridge page explains the closest crossing. The Niagara Falls Bridge Commission sets out which vehicles may use each bridge. From a Fallsview Boulevard hotel, it is about 2 km (1 mi), five to ten minutes down the hill.

Staying at a hotel that is not on Falls Avenue? Our guide to Clifton Hill and Lundy's Lane hotels lists the nearby options, and Great Wolf Lodge on Victoria Avenue is the other big indoor waterpark resort in town.

Booking it with NiagaraFallsLimo.net in 3 steps

Open the booker once your passes or package are settled; the attractions hub lists other family stops nearby.

  1. Enter the trip. Put your hotel, terminal or home address as pickup and Fallsview Indoor Waterpark, 5685 Falls Avenue as the drop-off, with your date, time and flight number if you are arriving by air.
  2. Choose the vehicle. A Standard SUV takes up to six people and six bags; an Executive Sprinter takes up to twelve for two families sharing the day. The booker shows each class's fixed fare.
  3. Add the family details. Add child, toddler or booster seats, the number of bags, and a return pickup time. Pay securely; the confirmation comes by email.

If you are planning a day for a large group, our post on waterpark day transfers for big family groups goes further on vehicle sizes.

The honest verdict: if you are staying at a connected Falls Avenue hotel, you do not need a car at all for the waterpark; walk through the corridor. If you are in Fallsview and travelling light in summer, a taxi or the WEGO bus will do. Where a pre-booked car earns its keep is the airport arrival, the family that needs car seats, and the cold evening exit with wet gear. Our chauffeur vs taxi vs rideshare guide sets out the full comparison.

Who this suits

Families with children between about four and fourteen are the core of the waterpark crowd, and they are who this plan is for. Couples rarely come for the slides but sometimes for the adults-only hot springs. Groups such as birthday parties and two-family trips benefit most from a single Sprinter that keeps everyone together. Solo parents with several children should book the car simply to have an extra pair of hands at the door. Read how we plan for families, then see our Clifton Hill attractions list for the evening after the park, or the full Clifton Hill page.

Frequently asked questions

Can you buy Fallsview Waterpark tickets at the door?

Yes, day passes are sold at Waterpark Guest Services, but the park says walk-up sales are subject to capacity. It recommends buying online in advance, especially for weekends and school holidays, when a full park can mean no passes left at the desk.

Do adults who are not swimming need a wristband?

Yes. The park requires a wristband for everyone who enters, including adults who are only supervising children. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult aged 16 or older who stays in the park the whole time.

Which hotels include the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark?

The park lists packages at the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel, Skyline Hotel & Waterpark, The Brock Niagara Falls-Fallsview and the Clifton Victoria Inn at the Falls. Packages cover up to four guests over two days, from 1 p.m. on arrival to 3 p.m. the next day.

Are towels included at the waterpark?

No. Towels are not complimentary, so bring your own or buy one at the park's retail area. Lockers are rented from self-serve kiosks that accept credit cards only, with all-day access.

How far is the waterpark from Toronto Pearson?

About 121 km (75 mi), usually 1 h 30 to 1 h 45 off-peak and two hours or more on summer Fridays. A pre-booked car with flight tracking can take you straight from arrivals to the Falls Avenue Resort.

What age is the Fallsview Indoor Waterpark best for?

The park has something for most ages: a Tiny Tots Splash Park for small children, the Rain Fortress for ages 16 and under, slides with 40- to 48-inch height minimums, and adults-only hot springs. Check each slide's height rule before you go.

How much is a ride to the waterpark?

Your fare is fixed and all-in, and the booker shows it for the exact pickup, the waterpark drop-off and the vehicle you choose, before you pay. Add car seats and bags at the same time; there are no surprises or surge pricing on a pre-booked ride.
