Your hotel decides more of your Niagara trip than you might think. A room on Fallsview Boulevard puts you a short walk from the Falls Incline Railway and Table Rock. A Falls Avenue hotel connects indoors to Clifton Hill and Casino Niagara. An inn in Niagara-on-the-Lake is half an hour from the Falls but steps from the Shaw Festival. NiagaraFallsLimo.net picks up at all of them, and for Niagara Falls hotels transportation the details that matter are the entrance, the timing and the drive to the airport.
How do you get from the airport to a Niagara Falls hotel?
Most Niagara Falls, Ontario hotels sit about 122–125 km (76–78 mi) from Toronto Pearson, usually 1 h 20 – 1 h 40 off-peak, and about 42–45 km from Buffalo Niagara with a border crossing. NiagaraFallsLimo.net drives door to the hotel entrance; enter your hotel and flight in the online booker to see the fixed fare.
Two practical tips before you browse. First, give us the hotel's exact name, because several Niagara properties have been renamed recently and some brands have two hotels a few hundred metres apart. Second, if you are arriving on a summer Friday, add time; the QEW and the hotel driveways are both busy.
Recent name changes to know
Niagara hotels change flags more often than visitors expect, and an old name in a booking can send a car to the wrong door.
- The former Embassy Suites Fallsview at 6700 Fallsview Boulevard became the Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview on April 1, 2026. Hyatt's announcement calls it the first Hyatt hotel in Niagara Falls, with 611 rooms and suites on 42 floors. See our Hyatt Regency Fallsview pickup guide.
- The former Crowne Plaza at 5685 Falls Avenue is now The Brock Niagara Falls-Fallsview, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, announced in April 2025 with 237 rooms and suites. See The Brock Fallsview.
- The Sheraton Fallsview Hotel name now belongs to the hotel at 5875 Falls Avenue in the Falls Avenue Resort. See Sheraton Fallsview.

Falls Avenue and Clifton Hill
Down the hill, the Falls Avenue Resort describes itself as a 20-acre resort of connected hotels with a 3-acre indoor waterpark and indoor access to Casino Niagara and Clifton Hill. The Sheraton Fallsview and The Brock are here, alongside the Skyline Hotel & Waterpark. Our Clifton Hill and Lundy's Lane hotels guide also covers the motels and mid-size hotels further west on Lundy's Lane.
A little north on Victoria Avenue, Great Wolf Lodge Niagara Falls at 3950 Victoria Avenue is an indoor waterpark resort built for families.
Niagara-on-the-Lake inns and resorts
About 24–26 km north by the Niagara Parkway, Niagara-on-the-Lake trades towers for heritage inns. Vintage Hotels runs three of the best known in the Old Town: the Prince of Wales, Queen's Landing and Pillar and Post. Start with the Niagara-on-the-Lake inns area guide, then see:
- Pillar and Post: Pillar and Post Hotel & Spa, 48 John Street West, a short walk from Queen Street.
- Prince of Wales Hotel: 6 Picton Street, in the heart of the Old Town.
- White Oaks Resort: White Oaks Resort & Spa, 253 Taylor Road, on the same road as the Outlet Collection at Niagara and close to the QEW.
These hotels pair naturally with the wine country hub and the Shaw Festival; our chauffeurs often do the hotel, a winery lunch and a theatre drop in one booking.
The New York side
Hotels in Niagara Falls, New York, sit across the Rainbow Bridge from the Canadian strip, and some are within walking distance of Niagara Falls State Park. Destination Niagara USA's hotel guide lists several downtown. Our Niagara Falls NY hotels guide covers Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino on 4th Street, the downtown Sheraton on Third Street, the Hyatt Place on Old Falls Street and others. A stay on this side usually means a crossing to see the Canadian views, so read the border crossing hub and the checklist on what you need to cross into Canada.

Hotel to airport: your options
| Way to travel (Fallsview hotel to Pearson) | Door-to-door time | Cost note | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hotel or shared shuttle | Several stops, fixed departure times | Per seat, set by the shuttle | One or two bags | Couples on a fixed schedule |
| Taxi | About 1 h 20 – 1 h 40 | Metered or flat by the operator | Standard trunk | Last-minute solo departures |
| Rideshare | Similar, plus pickup wait | Surge pricing | Depends on the car | Solo travellers off-peak |
| GO train or bus, then UP Express | Ride to the station, train, change at Union | Fares set by the operators | What you can carry | Light packers with time to spare |
| Private chauffeur | About 1 h 20 – 1 h 40, door to door | Fixed fare via the booker | Matched to the vehicle class | Families, groups, early flights, border crossings |
When is a taxi fine? For a five-minute ride from a Fallsview tower to Clifton Hill, or a short hop to the station on Bridge Street, a local taxi is quick and simple. For a 5 a.m. departure with three suitcases and a car seat, or a group checking out together, a pre-booked car means the vehicle is at the entrance when you come down. The chauffeur vs taxi vs rideshare guide sets out the trade-offs.
Who stays where
Individuals at conferences often stay on Fallsview Boulevard. Couples gravitate to Niagara-on-the-Lake inns; see Niagara Falls for couples. Families choose Great Wolf Lodge or the Falls Avenue hotels for the waterparks. Groups booking blocks of rooms for weddings can have every guest's arrival coordinated through our group transportation service.

Frequently asked questions
Do Niagara Falls hotels have airport shuttles?
Some hotels arrange guest shuttles or partner with shared services, and those change by season. Ask your hotel directly. A shared shuttle stops at several hotels and runs to a timetable; a private car leaves when you are ready and goes straight to your entrance.
What is the closest airport to the Fallsview hotels?
Niagara Falls International in New York is the closest commercial airport, about 15 km away across the border, but it has limited routes. Buffalo Niagara is about 42–45 km with a crossing. Toronto Pearson, about 125 km, has by far the most flights and no border for Canadian-side stays.
Is the Embassy Suites Fallsview still open?
The building is open under a new name. The former Embassy Suites at 6700 Fallsview Boulevard became the Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview on April 1, 2026. Use the new name when you book so the chauffeur goes to the right entrance.
What happened to the Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls?
The former Crowne Plaza at 5685 Falls Avenue is now The Brock Niagara Falls-Fallsview, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. It is part of the Falls Avenue Resort, beside Clifton Hill.
Can you pick up from a Niagara-on-the-Lake inn for a Fallsview dinner?
Yes. It is about 24–26 km by the Niagara Parkway, usually 30 – 40 minutes. Book a return trip, or "By the hour" if you want the car to wait. Tell us your reservation time and we will plan the pickup.
Can we stay on the US side and visit the Canadian Falls?
Yes. Many visitors stay in Niagara Falls, New York, and cross the Rainbow Bridge for the Canadian views. Every passenger needs valid documents to enter Canada. The chauffeur crosses with you and brings you back the same day.
How early should we book a hotel pickup?
As soon as your flight or plans are set, especially for summer weekends, long weekends and wedding dates. The fare is fixed at booking, and you can change details later; cancellation is free with more than 72 hours' notice.
