A group trip to Niagara Falls usually goes wrong in the same place: the moment ten people try to get from one hotel lobby to a winery, a stadium or a restaurant at the same time. Taxis arrive one by one, rideshare apps split the group across four cars, and someone is always left at the curb. NiagaraFallsLimo.net solves that with one vehicle sized to the group, one confirmed pickup time and one chauffeur who has the passenger list. This page, part of who we serve, explains how we plan group trips for bachelor and bachelorette weekends, wedding parties, family reunions, sports outings and teams.
What is the best way to get a group around Niagara Falls?
The best way to get a group around Niagara Falls is one pre-booked vehicle: an Executive Sprinter for up to 12, a Stretch SUV Limousine for up to 16, or a coach on request. NiagaraFallsLimo.net collects the group, waits between stops and crosses the border with you, at a fixed fare shown before you book online in three steps.
Below: which vehicle fits which group, how we handle a passenger list, what changes at the border, and the rules that apply to every group in our cars.
Matching the vehicle to the group
| Vehicle class | Passengers | Bags | Group fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stretch Limousine | Up to 8 | Minimal | A small celebration, prom group or wedding party |
| Executive Sprinter (Mercedes-Benz) | Up to 12 | Carry-on only | Wine days, sightseeing, dinners, conference shuttles |
| Executive Jet Sprinter | Up to 6 | 2 | A small executive group wanting more space per seat |
| Party Bus | Up to 12 | 2 | Nights out, birthdays, bachelorette routes; availability confirmed at booking |
| Stretch SUV Limousine | Up to 16 | Minimal | The largest single vehicle in our booker; availability confirmed at booking |
| Standard SUV / Executive Black SUV | Up to 6 | 6 | Airport runs where the bags matter more than the seats |
| Coach | Larger groups | On request | Wedding guest shuttles, tour groups, teams; ask the desk |
The rule of thumb from our desk: seats and bags are different problems. The Sprinter, the stretch vehicles and the party bus carry people well and luggage poorly. For an airport arrival with a suitcase each, split the group into SUVs for the transfer and book the Sprinter for the sightseeing days. Our stretch limo and Sprinter page and the fleet page show each class in detail.
The passenger list: how we keep a group together
For any group booking, the reservations desk asks the group leader for a simple passenger list. It is a planning tool, not paperwork for its own sake:

- Names and the number of passengers, so the chauffeur knows when everyone is aboard.
- Pickup points. If the group is spread over two Fallsview hotels and an inn in Niagara-on-the-Lake, we list the stops in order with times.
- A contact for the group leader, so the chauffeur can call one person rather than ten.
- Bags, child seats and any wheelchair needs, so the right vehicle turns up.
- For a border crossing, confirmation that every passenger has their own valid documents.
With the list, a multi-hotel pickup becomes a timed route instead of a group chat. For wedding and event logistics at scale, see our page for event and wedding planners.
The rules every group rides by
- No drinking in our vehicles. Niagara Region's vehicle-for-hire by-law 2021-58 forbids a driver to permit alcohol consumption in the vehicle, and Ontario's Liquor Licence and Control Act, 2019 has no limousine exception. This applies to the party bus and the stretch limousines too. A sealed bottle can be added in the booker as a gift to take away.
- One person per seat belt. By-law 2021-58 also bars carrying more passengers than the vehicle's seating capacity and belts, so the passenger count on the booking is the count in the car.
- No smoking or vaping in the vehicle.
- The chauffeur never drinks. That is the reason wine and brewery tours exist.
Groups sometimes ask us to bend these on a bachelorette night. We do not; the by-law is clear and it protects everyone in the vehicle.
Group days we plan often
Wine country for ten
Niagara-on-the-Lake's wineries sit close together: Jackson-Triggs and Trius are about half a kilometre apart, Peller Estates and Inniskillin about 4 km. The Old Town is about 23 km from Fallsview, usually 25 to 30 minutes. A Sprinter for the day lets everyone taste. See our Niagara wine tour limo service and the Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries guide.
Bachelor and bachelorette weekends
Dinner, the casino, Clifton Hill and back, with one vehicle waiting. Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara are 19+, so check every guest's ID before you plan the night. Our bachelor and bachelorette limo and party bus pages have the details, and the Fallsview Casino Resort page covers show-night pickups.
Wedding guests
Shuttles between a Niagara-on-the-Lake ceremony, a winery reception and three guest hotels are among the most common group bookings we take. See our wedding limo service. Big weddings may carry a different cancellation deadline, printed on your confirmation.
Game day in Buffalo
Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park is about 53 km (33 mi) from Fallsview, usually 50 minutes plus the border. The Bills require buses and limos to hold a Bus & Limo Lot permit bought in advance, and Sprinter vans of any size must park in the Limo Lot with an advance pass; vehicles without one are turned away. Bags are limited to one clear bag of 12 × 6 × 12 in. The Bills stadium A–Z guide has the full rules. KeyBank Center downtown, home of the Sabres, is about 37 km away and bans backpacks and purses beyond small clutches. See our concerts and sports transportation page.
Taking a group across the border
Cross-border trips are a normal part of our service, and the chauffeur crosses with the group. A few things change when there are twelve passengers instead of two:
- Everyone carries their own valid documents. For US and Canadian citizens entering the US by land, that means a passport, passport card, enhanced driver's licence or trusted-traveller card; see CBP's land-border document rules and our page on documents for entering the USA.
- NEXUS lanes are almost never possible for groups, because every occupant, including the driver, must be a NEXUS member carrying their card. Plan for the general lanes.
- Youth groups: US and Canadian citizen children under 19 travelling with a school, religious or youth group may use a birth certificate to enter the US, and Canadians under 19 in an organized group need written consent from their own parent or guardian. Read crossing with children.
- Tolls into Canada at the Rainbow, Whirlpool Rapids and Lewiston-Queenston bridges are charged per axle for limousines, and buses pay by axle count; the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission toll page lists them. No toll is charged to enter the US.
We never promise how long a crossing takes. With a larger group, build in extra margin.
Getting the group to Niagara
For a group landing at Toronto Pearson, about 121 km (75 mi) from the Falls and usually 1 h 30 to 1 h 50 off-peak, there are two pickup patterns. Cars and SUVs meet at the pre-arranged pickup areas at Terminal 1 Door A and Terminal 3 Door A; for a charter bus, the group goes to the Arrivals Level curb and gives the bus company and charter number to the Groundside Traffic Officer, according to Pearson's pre-arranged services page. Our Toronto Pearson to Niagara Falls transfer page explains each option.
Group transport compared
| Mode | Door-to-door time | Cost note | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GO train | Timetable-dependent, plus getting everyone to the station | GO fare per person (check gotransit.com) | What each person carries | Budget groups going only to the Falls strip |
| Several taxis | Rank waits, cars arrive separately | Metered, per car | Trunk per car | Short rides in town for small groups |
| Rideshare XL | Depends on availability | Surge pricing at peaks, often several cars | Limited | Four to six people on a short hop |
| Rental van | Fast, one designated driver | Rental, fuel, tolls, parking | Good | Groups with a willing non-drinking driver |
| Coach tour | Fixed schedule | Per-person ticket | Day bag | Groups happy with a set itinerary |
| Private chauffeur (Sprinter or stretch) | Door to door, one vehicle | Fixed fare via booker | By class | Wine days, weddings, nights out, border trips |
If the group is four people going a few kilometres within Niagara Falls, a taxi or a large rideshare is perfectly reasonable. If everyone is coming from downtown Toronto with day bags only and wants the Falls strip, the train works. A pre-booked vehicle wins as soon as the group grows past one car, spans several hotels, includes a winery, needs to arrive together for a ceremony or kickoff, or crosses the border. Our chauffeur vs taxi vs rideshare guide sets out the trade-offs.
Groups that are also families, couples or colleagues
Many groups are really several smaller parties travelling together. If the group includes young children, read our page for families visiting Niagara for car seats, and for a proposal hidden inside a group weekend, our couples page. Teams and conference groups should see corporate car service, and our group transportation page covers larger multi-vehicle moves.
How to book this in 3 steps
- Enter the route. First pickup, destination or "By the hour", date and time, plus flight numbers if the group is arriving by air. Add extra pickups as multi-stop.
- Choose the vehicle. Sprinter, stretch SUV, party bus or SUVs; each class shows its fixed all-in fare before you pay.
- Add the group details and pay. Passenger count, bags, child seats, notes for the chauffeur, then pay securely and receive the confirmation by email. Send the passenger list to the desk before the day.

Frequently asked questions
What size vehicle do we need for a group of 12?
An Executive Sprinter seats up to 12 with carry-on bags only, and a Party Bus also takes up to 12 with 2 bags. If the twelve have suitcases, use two or three SUVs for the airport transfer and the Sprinter for touring days. A Stretch SUV Limousine takes up to 16 with minimal luggage.
Can we drink on the party bus or in the limo?
No. The no-drinking rule covers every vehicle we run, the party bus and stretch limousines included, because the Region's vehicle-for-hire by-law bars drivers from allowing alcohol on board and provincial law carves out no exception for limousines. Plan drinks at the venue; the chauffeur gets you there and back.
Where can I rent a party bus for a trip to Niagara Falls?
You can book a Party Bus for up to 12 passengers directly in the NiagaraFallsLimo.net booker, with availability confirmed at booking. The fixed fare appears before you pay. For larger groups, the Stretch SUV Limousine takes up to 16, and coaches are available on request.
Can a group cross the border in one vehicle?
Yes. The chauffeur crosses with the group, and every passenger must carry their own valid documents. NEXUS lanes require every occupant to be a member, so groups normally use the general lanes. Crossing times vary, so build in margin.
Can you pick up a group from several hotels?
Yes. Add the pickups as stops in the booker or list them in the passenger list with times. The chauffeur follows the route in order and contacts the group leader if anyone is running late.
How far ahead should a group book?
As early as your date is fixed, especially for Saturdays in summer, long weekends, prom season and wedding dates, when stretch vehicles and Sprinters are in high demand. Proms, long weekends and big weddings may carry a different cancellation deadline, which is printed on your confirmation.
What is the cancellation policy for group bookings?
Counted from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours' notice, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10%; 48 hours or less, 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100%. Proms, long weekends and big weddings may carry a different deadline printed on the confirmation.
Can you take our group to a Bills game?
Yes. Highmark Stadium is about 53 km from Fallsview plus the border. The Bills require buses and limos to hold an advance Bus & Limo Lot permit, and Sprinters must use the Limo Lot with an advance pass, so book early and tell us the game date.
