The most common surprise for first-time guests at White Oaks in Niagara-on-the-Lake is how far it is from the clock tower on Queen Street. The resort is in the town, but at its western edge beside the QEW, closer to St. Catharines than to the Shaw Festival. For conference organisers and anyone flying into Toronto, that location is an advantage. NiagaraFallsLimo.net drives guests and groups to and from White Oaks every week, and this page explains how to plan around where it really is.
How do you get to White Oaks Resort in Niagara-on-the-Lake by chauffeur?
White Oaks Resort & Spa is at 253 Taylor Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, near the QEW's Glendale Avenue interchange. NiagaraFallsLimo.net drives guests there from Toronto Pearson (about 114 km, usually 1 h 20 – 1 h 35 off-peak) and Hamilton (about 79 km). Enter the resort in the online booker to see your fixed fare.

Not in Old Town: where White Oaks actually is
White Oaks occupies 15 acres on Taylor Road, close to the QEW and almost next door to the Outlet Collection at Niagara. Our road distances from the resort:
- Outlet Collection at Niagara: under 1 km.
- Niagara District Airport (YCM): about 5.7 km, roughly 8 minutes.
- St. Catharines railway station: about 11 km, around 13 minutes.
- Lewiston-Queenston Bridge: about 11.6 km, around 11 minutes.
- Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls: about 13 km, around 15 minutes.
- Horseshoe Falls at Table Rock: about 16 km, around 20 minutes.
- Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake (Queen Street): about 16.6 km, roughly 20 minutes.
- Jordan, in the Twenty Valley: about 22 km, around 20–25 minutes.
In other words, White Oaks is about as close to the Falls as it is to Old Town, and it is the quickest Niagara-on-the-Lake address to reach from Toronto because it sits on the highway rather than at the far end of it. Guests who want to walk to Queen Street and the theatres usually choose Pillar and Post or the Prince of Wales Hotel instead.
The resort at a glance

- Rooms: Four Diamond accommodation across Superior, Tower, Premium Tower, Platinum and several suite categories.
- Dining: LIV Restaurant for fine dining at breakfast and dinner, Play Bar + Grill for casual lunch and dinner with courtside views, and Grow Kitchen & Cafe for coffee and grab-and-go.
- The Spa at White Oaks: facials, massages and body therapies.
- The Club at White Oaks: racquet sports, strength and cardio training, swimming, yoga, pilates and group classes.
- Conference centre and wedding venues, which explain why so many of our White Oaks bookings involve groups.
Conference and corporate arrivals
Large meetings at White Oaks bring delegates in waves: a dozen flights into Pearson on the morning of day one, a cluster of departures after the closing session. We handle these in three ways:
- Individual transfers for executives and speakers, each with flight tracking and, if you choose, meet and greet inside arrivals with a name board.
- Shuttle waves in Executive Sprinters (up to 12 passengers, carry-on bags only) timed to grouped arrivals, with Standard SUVs following for delegates carrying large cases.
- Coaches on request for groups too large for several Sprinters.
Planners can send a manifest with names and flight numbers, and we confirm vehicles against it. Chauffeurs are discreet, and NDAs are available on request for confidential meetings. Accounts and invoicing are covered on our corporate car service page, and larger movements on our group transportation page. Event organisers should also see the page for event and wedding planners.

| St. Catharines station | about 11 km (7 mi) | about 13 min | GO and VIA trains from Toronto |
Toronto Pearson's pre-arranged services page explains how pre-booked cars collect passengers at the terminals. Hamilton's airport says shuttles and limousines are not scheduled and must be arranged directly with the provider (John C. Munro Hamilton airport transportation page). More on each: Pearson to Niagara, Hamilton airport to Niagara Falls and train station transfers.
Private aircraft at Niagara District Airport
For guests flying privately, White Oaks is unusually well placed: Niagara District Airport is about eight minutes away. Your chauffeur meets the aircraft's arrival time at the terminal you name, loads bags and has you at the resort before a commercial passenger at Pearson has cleared baggage. The same service covers the FBOs at Toronto Pearson, Hamilton and Buffalo. See our Niagara District Airport page and private jet and FBO transfers for what to send us in advance.
Shopping next door: Outlet Collection at Niagara
The Outlet Collection at Niagara, at 300 Taylor Road, has more than 100 outlet brands and is open until 9 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday and until 6 p.m. on Sunday and Monday, with holiday hours varying. From White Oaks it is a short walk in good weather. A car makes sense when the bags pile up or when the shopping trip is to the larger Canada One Outlets on Lundy's Lane or across the river at Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA. Our Outlet Collection guide covers the details.
Wine country in both directions
White Oaks is unusual among Niagara-on-the-Lake hotels in that two wine regions are within easy reach:
- East to Niagara-on-the-Lake's estates: Trius about 14 km (around 16 minutes), Peller about 16 km, and Inniskillin on the Niagara Parkway about 15 km.
- West to the Twenty Valley and Beamsville Bench: Jordan's tasting rooms about 22 km away, with the bench wineries of Vineland and Beamsville beyond; see our Twenty Valley and Beamsville Bench guide.
A one-day route can pair a morning on the Bench with an afternoon on Niagara Stone Road, something that is awkward from Old Town. The rules do not change: tasting reservations are made by you, directly with each winery, and there is no drinking in our vehicles, because Niagara Region's by-law forbids drivers to permit alcohol consumption and Ontario law has no limousine exception. Our Niagara-on-the-Lake wine tour service builds the day.
Golf, racquets and sports weekends
The Club at White Oaks attracts sports-minded groups, and many add a round at one of Niagara's courses. Golf bags take space: a Standard SUV carries up to six bags, so four golfers with clubs and suitcases may need a second vehicle or an SUV plus a Sprinter. Tell us the number of golf bags when you book. Our Niagara golf transportation page covers tee-time planning.
Ways to get from Pearson to White Oaks
| Mode | Door-to-door time | Cost note | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rideshare (app) | 1 h 20 – 1 h 45, plus waiting | Surge pricing at busy times | Whatever car arrives | A solo delegate with one bag |
| Taxi | 1 h 20 – 1 h 45 | Metered | One trunk | Short-notice arrivals |
| GO train to St. Catharines, then taxi | 2 h 30 – 3 h+ with connections | Per GO Transit fare, plus the local taxi | You carry everything | Light travellers with time |
| Driving yourself | 1 h 20 – 1 h 45 | Fuel, possible 407 ETR toll; resort parking on site | Your own car | Guests staying several days with their own car |
| Private chauffeur | 1 h 20 – 1 h 35 off-peak, door to door | Fixed fare via the booker, shown before you pay | Sedan 2, SUV 6, Sprinter carry-on | Delegates, couples, families, groups |
When another option is perfectly fine
If you arrive at St. Catharines station with one bag and a reservation, a local taxi for the 11 km to the resort is quick and sensible. If you are staying several days, have your own car and will not be visiting wineries, driving yourself makes sense; the resort has on-site parking. For a stroll to the outlets, walk.
The case for a chauffeur is strongest for the Toronto leg, for groups that must arrive together, for wine days and for anyone crossing to the US; the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge is only about 11 minutes away, and our Lewiston-Queenston Bridge guide explains lanes and documents. The chauffeur crosses with you; each passenger carries their own valid papers, and we never promise a crossing time.
