There are two kinds of Niagara spa day. One happens in a Fallsview tower, with a thermal circuit and a room looking at the Falls. The other happens in Niagara-on-the-Lake, in an old inn or a resort by the vineyards, followed by a slow lunch at a winery. Both are excellent. Both end the same way if you drive yourself: in traffic on the QEW, undoing an afternoon of relaxation.
This guide from NiagaraFallsLimo.net lists the main hotel spas across the region, the distances between them, and how a chauffeured day fits around the appointments.
Which Niagara spas can you reach by chauffeur in one day?
All of them. NiagaraFallsLimo.net drives couples and groups to the Fallsview spa hotels and to Niagara-on-the-Lake's spa inns, about 23 km (14 mi) and 25 to 35 minutes apart, then on to a winery lunch. From Toronto it is about 120 to 130 km each way. The booker shows the fixed fare before you pay.
The spas below were checked on their own or their owners' official pages in October 2026. Treatments, packages and whether non-hotel guests may book change by season, so confirm directly with the spa before you plan the car.
Spas in Niagara Falls
Burning Springs Spa & Thermal Pools, Marriott Fallsview
The Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa at 6740 Fallsview Boulevard is home to Burning Springs Spa & Thermal Pools. Its owner's hotel page describes a hydrotherapy journey, a Himalayan salt sauna, a Finnish-style sauna cabin and an outdoor relaxation area, with thermal access available alongside a treatment or as a separate pass. Our Marriott Fallsview page explains the drop-off.
The Spa at Sterling Inn
The Sterling Inn & Spa on Magdalen Street is a boutique hotel away from the towers, a few minutes from the Fallsview hotels by car. Its official site lists massage, skincare, wraps and scrubs, and hand and foot treatments, and its lower-level restaurant, AG Inspired Cuisine, serves farm-to-table dinners. A treatment in the late afternoon followed by dinner at AG makes a complete evening without leaving the building.
Other Fallsview spa hotels
The DoubleTree Fallsview Resort & Spa by Hilton at 6039 Fallsview Boulevard also carries "Spa" in its name. Check treatment availability with the hotel directly. Our Fallsview hotels page lists the towers along the ridge and their entrances.
Spas in Niagara-on-the-Lake
100 Fountain Spa, Pillar and Post
The Pillar and Post Hotel & Spa at 48 John Street West, a few minutes' walk from Queen Street, houses 100 Fountain Spa. Vintage Hotels describes it as a 13,000-square-foot full-service spa with massages, facials, body treatments, manicures and pedicures, and a secluded hot spring pool. From the Fallsview hotels it is about 23 km (14 mi), usually 25 to 35 minutes. See our Pillar and Post page.
The Spa at Q, 124 on Queen
The 124 on Queen Hotel & Spa sits on Queen Street in Old Town. Its official site lists The Spa at Q, with a 12,000-square-foot hydrotherapy circuit that includes a snow room, a halotherapy salt lounge, a eucalyptus steam room, a cedar sauna and Traditional Chinese Medicine therapies alongside massages and facials. Old Town streets are narrow and busy on summer weekends; the chauffeur drops you at the door and meets you at an agreed spot afterwards.
The Spa at White Oaks
White Oaks Resort & Spa at 253 Taylor Road sits on the western edge of Niagara-on-the-Lake beside the QEW, not in Old Town. The resort lists facials, massages and body therapies with spa packages. From the Fallsview hotels it is about 14 km (9 mi), around 15 minutes, and it is just 5 km from Château des Charmes winery in St. Davids. Our White Oaks page covers the location.

Building the day: spa, lunch, then the river
The most relaxed spa days in Niagara have only three parts.
- Morning treatment. Book the first appointment of the day if you can. Spas are quieter, and the rest of the day opens up.
- A long lunch in wine country. Niagara-on-the-Lake's winery restaurants are minutes from the Old Town spas. Trius, on Niagara Stone Road, is about 3 km from Queen Street and describes itself as Niagara-on-the-Lake's only MICHELIN Guide-recommended restaurant; Two Sisters Vineyards on John Street East, about 2 km from the Pillar and Post, runs Kitchen76 at the winery and 11th Post on Queen in town. Peller Estates' Winery Restaurant, closed for renovation until 13 November 2026, is a better choice later in the season.
- The slow way home. Ask the chauffeur to take the Niagara Parkway back to the Falls, past the river, the orchards and the Floral Clock, instead of the QEW.
If you want to visit wineries rather than just eat at one, our Niagara wine tour limo page explains how tasting stops are arranged. Book tastings ahead for groups larger than six.
Coming from Toronto for the day
A spa day from the city is very doable. Toronto Pearson to Niagara-on-the-Lake is about 120 km (75 mi), usually 1 h 35 to 1 h 50 off-peak; downtown Toronto to the Fallsview hotels is about 129 km (80 mi), roughly 1 h 35 to 1 h 50, and two hours or more on a summer Friday. Leave the city before 8 a.m. on weekdays to avoid the worst of the Gardiner and QEW traffic. Our Toronto to Niagara-on-the-Lake route page has the details.
Book the return by time, not by "after lunch". A fixed pickup time keeps the day from drifting and lets the chauffeur plan around traffic.
Choosing the vehicle
| Who is going | Vehicle | Why it suits a spa day |
|---|---|---|
| A couple | Mercedes-Benz E/S-Class, Mercedes-Maybach or Rolls-Royce | Quiet ride home after a treatment |
| Up to 3 | Standard Sedan | Simple, comfortable, two large bags |
| Friends, up to 6 | Executive Black SUV | Room for spa bags and winery purchases |
| A bridal or birthday group, up to 12 | Executive Sprinter | Everyone together, easy step in |
The Maybach and Rolls-Royce are confirmed at booking. For a pre-wedding spa morning with the bridal party, the Sprinter is the usual choice, and it can carry the group straight on to hair and make-up.

A note on wine and the car
It is tempting to imagine a glass of bubbly on the drive between the spa and lunch. It is not allowed. Niagara Region's vehicle-for-hire By-law 2021-58 forbids drivers to permit alcohol consumption in the vehicle. Enjoy the wine at the winery; bottles you buy travel home sealed in the luggage area, and a sealed bottle can be added in the booker as a gift.
Spa days in winter
Winter is a quiet, good season for Niagara spas. The thermal pools and saunas suit a cold day, and the evenings bring the Winter Festival of Lights, running from 14 November 2026 to 10 January 2027 along the Parkway, Fallsview and Lundy's Lane. In January the Niagara Icewine Festival usually brings an Icewine Village to Queen Street in Niagara-on-the-Lake over two weekends; dates for 2027 had not been published when we checked. Roads are cleared, but allow extra time after snow; our guide to visiting Niagara Falls in winter covers driving conditions.

Reserve your spa-day chauffeur
Chauffeur vs rideshare vs taxi for this trip
| Mode | Door-to-door time | Cost note | Space | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Driving yourself | 25 to 35 min Fallsview to Old Town | Fuel and parking | Your own car | Locals with a short drive and no wine |
| Rideshare | Fine within Niagara Falls; fewer cars in NOTL | Surge pricing at busy times | 3 to 4 | A short hop from one Fallsview tower to another |
| Taxi | Similar; may need booking for rural pickups | Metered | 4 | One ride home from Old Town |
| WEGO and the NOTL shuttle | Set routes, transfers at the Floral Clock | Pass prices on the Niagara Parks site | Day bag only | Budget sightseeing, flexible timing |
| Pre-booked chauffeur | Waits between spa and lunch | Fixed fare via booker | Bags and purchases | Couples, groups, Toronto day trips, wine at lunch |
The verdict: if you are staying at the Marriott Fallsview and your appointment is downstairs, you need no car at all, and a taxi is fine for a short hop between Fallsview hotels. A chauffeur makes sense once the day spans Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake, once wine is involved at lunch, or once you are coming from Toronto and want to arrive and leave relaxed. Our chauffeur vs taxi vs rideshare guide sets out the trade-offs for other trips too.
Who a chauffeured spa day suits
Couples are the classic case, often for an anniversary; see the post on an anniversary weekend with limo, spa and winery and our couples page. Groups of friends book a Sprinter for a bridal or birthday spa day. Individuals treat themselves to a single sedan and a long lunch. Families, often adult daughters taking a parent, appreciate the easy step of an SUV. Spa days are also a popular retirement gift; see retirement party transportation in Niagara.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake?
It depends on what you want. 100 Fountain Spa at the Pillar and Post is a 13,000-square-foot full-service spa with a hot spring pool; The Spa at Q at 124 on Queen has a 12,000-square-foot hydrotherapy circuit with a snow room; The Spa at White Oaks suits guests based by the QEW. Check each spa's menu before booking.
How far is Niagara-on-the-Lake from the Fallsview spa hotels?
About 23 km (14 mi) from the Fallsview hotels to Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake, usually 25 to 35 minutes by the Niagara Parkway or the QEW. White Oaks, on the western edge of town, is closer, at about 14 km and around 15 minutes.
Can non-guests book a spa day at Niagara hotel spas?
Policies vary by spa and season, and the official pages we checked do not all say. Some offer spa packages and separate thermal passes. Ask the spa directly when you book the appointment, then set the car's times around it.
Can we drink wine in the car after the spa?
No. Niagara Region's vehicle-for-hire by-law forbids drivers to permit alcohol consumption in the vehicle. Enjoy the wine at lunch or a tasting. Bottles you buy travel home sealed, and a sealed bottle can be added in the booker as a gift.
Can you do a spa day trip from Toronto to Niagara?
Yes. Pearson to Niagara-on-the-Lake is about 120 km (75 mi), usually 1 h 35 to 1 h 50 off-peak. Book a return with a fixed pickup time, or "By the hour" if the day includes a spa, lunch and a winery.
How much does a chauffeured spa day cost?
It depends on the vehicle, the stops and the hours. The online booker shows the fixed all-in fare for your exact route and vehicle class before you pay, so you can compare a sedan with a Maybach for the same day.
Should we book the spa or the car first?
Book the spa appointment first, because treatment times are the fixed point of the day. Then enter the pickup in the booker so the car arrives about 15 minutes before you need to leave, with the return set for a fixed time after lunch. If the spa changes your appointment, update the booking notes.
