Private flights do not use the airline terminal. They taxi to a fixed-base operator, or FBO, a private terminal with its own lounge, ramp and line crew, and that is where the trip continues by road. NiagaraFallsLimo.net arranges private jet charter with licensed operators and books the chauffeured car at both ends, so this private jet FBO directory lists the terminals where our drivers and our partner chauffeurs meet flights across Canada and the United States.
Every FBO name below was checked in October 2026 on the FBO company's own location pages or on the airport's official site. Where we could not confirm an FBO at an airport, we left it out rather than guess. FBOs change hands, so we confirm the terminal with the flight operator for every booking.
What is an FBO, and where will my chauffeur meet me?
An FBO (fixed-base operator) is the private terminal where business aircraft park, refuel and clear passengers. NiagaraFallsLimo.net meets private flights at FBOs such as Allied Aviation at Niagara District Airport, about 17 km from the Falls, and Signature at Toronto Pearson and Buffalo. Book the car with your charter, or alone through our booker.
An FBO typically has a lounge, a front desk that tracks arrivals, fuel, de-icing, hangars and, at many international airports, customs officers on site. For you it means a short walk from the aircraft steps to the car.
Lobby pickup or meet at the aircraft?
There are two ways we meet an arriving flight:
- Lobby pickup. The chauffeur waits in the FBO lounge with a name board and tracks the tail number; the line crew brings your bags to the front door. This works everywhere and is the default.
- Planeside pickup. Some FBOs let approved vehicles drive onto the ramp to meet the aircraft. Signature, for example, lists ramp-side vehicle access at its Washington National, Fort Lauderdale, Houston Hobby and Tampa terminals, and Atlantic Aviation mentions vehicle ramp access at Chicago Executive.
Whether a chauffeur is cleared onto the ramp depends entirely on that FBO's ramp-access policy. The FBO decides who drives airside, may ask for driver and vehicle details in advance and may escort the car; we send what it asks for. International arrivals clear customs first, so the car meets you after the officers release you.
How to book a car at any FBO in 3 steps
- Enter the FBO as your pickup. In the booker, type the FBO name and airport (for example "Signature Toronto, Pearson") and add the tail number or flight details.
- Choose the vehicle. Each class shows its fixed fare before you pay. A Sprinter or SUV suits crews and passengers with golf bags or skis.
- Add extras and pay. Meet and greet with a name board, child seats, and notes for the FBO front desk. Confirmation arrives by email.
If we arrange your charter, we book and re-time the cars for you.

FBO companies in this directory
Most FBOs above belong to networks with online location finders: Signature Aviation, Atlantic Aviation, Million Air and Jet Aviation. Others are regional, such as Allied Aviation, Onward Aviation, Porter FBO, Execaire, Chartright, Calspan, Cutter Aviation and Clay Lacy. A listing here shows where we can meet a flight; it is not a partnership, and the operator chooses the FBO.
Customs at the FBO: a short note
"On-site customs" means the FBO's own page says officers clear passengers at or beside that terminal. It does not mean clearance at every hour: officers keep set hours, some airports need a reservation, and the charter operator arranges clearance. Our customs and documents guide explains what you need when you land in Canada or the United States, and our border pages cover documents for entering Canada and documents for entering the US for the drive afterwards.
Which FBO is best for Niagara Falls?
It depends on the origin and who is on board:
- Canadian or international passengers, small aircraft: Niagara District Airport is closest, with customs seven days a week for up to 15 people including crew.
- Large jets or transatlantic arrivals: Toronto Pearson, then about 1 h 35 min by road.
- US-registered aircraft and US passengers clearing US customs: Buffalo Niagara or Niagara Falls International, then the bridge.
- Quieter alternative to Pearson: Hamilton, about 90 km away.
Individuals and couples usually take a sedan or SUV; families can request child seats, and groups can book a Sprinter or coach. Flight departments can open corporate accounts, and our meet and greet service explains the name-board pickup.
Frequently asked questions
Can my chauffeur drive onto the ramp to meet the aircraft?
Only where the FBO allows it. Ramp access depends on each FBO's security policy; some list ramp-side vehicle access, others keep cars at the front door. If planeside pickup is not allowed, the chauffeur meets you in the lounge.
Which FBO at Toronto Pearson do you use?
We meet flights at both Signature Toronto and Execaire Aviation on Derry Road East. The operator chooses the FBO; tell us which one is on your trip sheet, or we confirm it with the operator when we arrange the charter.
Does Niagara District Airport have customs for private flights?
Yes. The airport says it is a designated airport of entry (AOE/15) with CBSA customs available seven days a week from 8 a.m. to midnight, and pilots must report at least two hours before arrival. The AOE/15 category limits the flight to 15 people including crew.
Is an FBO the same as the airport terminal?
No. An FBO is a separate private terminal, usually on another side of the airfield, with its own entrance and parking. Address your car to the FBO, not the airline terminal, or the chauffeur will be waiting in the wrong place.
What if my FBO is not in this directory?
We can still meet you. The directory lists FBOs we confirmed on official pages; there are many more. Enter the FBO and airport in the booker or the charter request form, and we confirm the address and pickup rules.
How long will the chauffeur wait if the flight is late?
The chauffeur tracks the flight and adjusts to the actual arrival time, so a delay on departure moves the pickup with it.
