Hotels · attractions · airports · bridges

Door-to-door chauffeured cars between every Fallsview and Clifton Hill hotel, the wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake, all four Niagara border bridges, Toronto Pearson, Buffalo Niagara, Hamilton and Billy Bishop airports, and the attractions on both sides of the river.

Few big American cities put their airport this close to the action. San Diego International sits on the bay about 5 km (3 mi) from downtown, so most rides here are short: terminal to the Gaslamp, hotel to the cruise pier, Petco Park to a dinner in Little Italy. Short does not mean easy, though. A wedding party of ten, a bachelorette weekend in Pacific Beach or a client who lands at 11 p.m. all need a car that is booked, sized right and waiting. That is what our limo service San Diego bookings are for, and NiagaraFallsLimo.net handles them with the same online booker we use at the Falls.

Can I book a limo or car service in San Diego online?

Yes. NiagaraFallsLimo.net books limousines, party buses, SUVs and black cars in San Diego, California, including SAN airport pickups about 5 km (3 mi) from downtown, usually 8–20 minutes. Enter pickup and drop-off in the online booker, choose a vehicle, see the fixed all-in fare and pay to confirm.

A word on who turns up. We are a Niagara-based reservations desk, and in San Diego the car and chauffeur come from an independent partner in the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, vetted by us and licensed and commercially insured. You never deal with two companies: the booking, the payment, any change and any question stay with NiagaraFallsLimo.net.

Every trip type works in the booker here: one way, return, multi-stop, and "By the hour" for days that refuse to follow a plan. Larger classes (stretch limousines, the party bus, the Maybach and the Rolls-Royce) are "availability confirmed at booking" in San Diego, because partner fleets vary by city. Our fleet page lists every class with seats and bag space, and the US cities hub shows the rest of the network.

San Diego airport car service at SAN

San Diego International Airport (SAN) has two terminals in 2026. The new Terminal 1 opened on September 23, 2025 with 19 gates, part of a rebuild that also added a new three-lane entrance route and a dual-level roadway that separates arrivals from departures (SAN announcement). Terminal 2 is split into East and West.

Knowing your terminal saves a phone call:

  • Terminal 1: Air Canada, Breeze, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, Sun Country and WestJet. Air Canada and WestJet moved here on January 14, 2026, which matters if you are flying to Canada.
  • Terminal 2 East: Alaska and American.
  • Terminal 2 West: British Airways, Copa, Delta, Hawaiian, Japan Airlines, KLM and United.

The airport says ground transportation is found at the Transportation Plazas in front of both terminals, and its ride services page tells travellers to make sure a limousine company is licensed to pick up at SAN. Our partners are. The trolley does not stop at the airport; a free shuttle runs to Old Town Transit Center instead.

With meet & greet your chauffeur waits inside with a name board, so you skip the crosswalk-and-signs routine with three bags and a tired child. Flight tracking keeps the pickup matched to your real landing time. Child, toddler and booster seats are booker options, as is a wheelchair-accessible request.

Common runs from SAN: about 5 km (3 mi) to downtown, 8–20 minutes; about 17 km (11 mi) to La Jolla, 20–35 minutes; about 31 km (19 mi) to Del Mar, 30–50 minutes on the I-5; about 53 km (33 mi) to Carlsbad, 45–70 minutes. The I-5 north of the city slows sharply on weekday afternoons and summer weekends, so leave room before an evening event.

Cruise days at the Port of San Diego

The Port of San Diego runs two cruise terminals on North Harbor Drive. Most ships use the B Street Pier & Cruise Ship Terminal, and the Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier opens when a third ship needs a berth. The Port asks that rides drop passengers past the gate, out on the pier (Port cruise terminal guide).

Cruise mornings are when a pre-booked car earns its fare. The airport is close, so the classic plan is a flight in, a night downtown and a short morning transfer with all the luggage in an SUV. On the way back, give us the ship name; the chauffeur knows which pier and waits at the drop-off area once you clear the terminal. Our cruise transfer service explains how we time these.

Party bus and limo rental in San Diego

Party bus San Diego searches peak in spring and early summer, and it is not hard to see why: proms, graduations, bachelorettes in the Gaslamp, birthday nights in Pacific Beach and wedding receptions on the bay. One vehicle keeps the group together and the chauffeur handles the parking-free curb drops.

What to book:

  • Party Bus: up to 12 passengers, 2 bags.
  • Stretch SUV Limousine: up to 16, minimal luggage.
  • Stretch Limousine: up to 8, the classic wedding and prom choice.
  • Executive Sprinter: up to 12, for guests who prefer forward-facing seats.

Plan the evening as multi-stop and list each address in the booker, or take it "By the hour" if you want freedom. The rule is the same as at Niagara: no alcohol in the vehicle, and the chauffeur never drinks. For a wedding, our wedding limo service shows how to put the couple's car and the guest shuttle on one booking. Prom bookings name an adult contact and the school, and some peak dates carry their own deadline on the confirmation.

Petco Park, Snapdragon, Del Mar and the bay venues

San Diego's event calendar spreads across a few clear areas:

  • Downtown and the bay: Petco Park (home of the Padres, 100 Park Blvd.), the San Diego Convention Center at 111 W Harbor Drive, and The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, the San Diego Symphony's outdoor stage on the water. The Gaslamp Quarter sits between them, so one car can cover dinner, game and drinks without moving far.
  • Mission Valley: Snapdragon Stadium, home of SDSU football, San Diego FC and San Diego Wave FC.
  • Sports Arena Blvd.: Pechanga Arena San Diego for concerts and indoor sport.
  • North County: the Del Mar Fairgrounds and the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, whose 2026 fall meet opens on Friday, November 6.
  • Balboa Park, the city's 1,200-acre park of museums and gardens, just north of downtown.

For a game or show, book the return for the scheduled end time. The chauffeur tells you the meeting point before you leave your seat, which beats searching a crowded curb for a car number. Our concerts and sports page covers how we handle event exits.

Black car service San Diego for business

Much of San Diego's business travel runs through the convention centre on Harbor Drive. The usual pattern is a morning arrival, meetings in two or three places and a late dinner. A Standard Sedan (up to 3 passengers) or Mercedes-Benz E / S-Class (up to 2) suits one executive; an Executive Black SUV (up to 6) carries a small team and its sample cases.

Book "By the hour" when the agenda is fluid and the chauffeur stays with you between stops. Your chauffeur keeps conversations private; ask for an NDA if your company needs one. See hourly chauffeur service for how an as-directed booking works.

Wine country day: Temecula Valley

Temecula Valley calls itself Southern California's premier wine region (Temecula Valley Winegrowers). From downtown San Diego it is about 106 km (66 mi), usually 1 h 15 – 1 h 45 on the I-15. A chauffeured day means nobody in the group has to stay sober to drive back down the freeway after tastings, which is the whole point of hiring a car for wine. Book "By the hour", list the wineries you have reserved, and let the chauffeur set the order.

Booking San Diego in 3 steps

  1. Type the pickup and drop-off (SAN terminal, hotel, cruise pier, stadium or any address), the date and time, and your flight number if flying in.
  2. Choose a vehicle; each one shows its fixed fare.
  3. Add passengers, bags, child seats, meet & greet or extras, then pay securely and watch for the email confirmation.

The plain truth: SAN to a downtown hotel is a short ride, and a solo traveller with one bag is well served by an app or taxi most of the day. The pre-booked car is the better call when you are moving a family with car seats, a group that needs one vehicle, cruise luggage, a midnight arrival, or a game crowd where every app shows long waits. Our guide to chauffeur vs taxi vs rideshare goes further.

San Diego to Niagara Falls: the realistic route

By road, San Diego to Niagara Falls, Ontario is about 4,160 km (2,580 mi), four or five days of driving. Fly instead, and let us handle the last leg.

Buffalo Niagara International (BUF) is the closest big airport to the Falls, about 35–42 km (22–26 mi) from the Canadian side, usually 35–50 minutes plus the bridge. Its published nonstop list does not include San Diego, so expect a connection; Buffalo's nonstop hubs include Denver, Chicago, Atlanta and Minneapolis-St. Paul. Book the Buffalo end on our BUF airport transfer page.

Toronto Pearson (YYZ) puts you about 125–135 km (78–84 mi) from the Falls, usually 1 h 20 – 1 h 40, and you clear Canadian customs on arrival, so there is no bridge on the drive. Air Canada and WestJet now both check in at SAN's Terminal 1. Check the airline for the current routing, then book the Pearson to Niagara Falls transfer.

At the Falls, the private Niagara Falls tour and our Niagara tour packages cover both sides of the river, and the Niagara hotel guide helps you choose between Fallsview and Niagara-on-the-Lake. If you would like one plan for flights, hotels and cars, the travel desk can build it.

Documents. Arriving at BUF means a bridge crossing into Canada, and each passenger carries their own papers. CBSA recommends a valid passport for US citizens; for the return into the US, a passport, passport card, enhanced driver's licence or NEXUS card is accepted at land crossings. Read entering Canada: documents and the border crossing hub. Crossing times vary and we do not promise them.

Who it suits

Individuals book the late SAN arrival or the early flight out. Couples take a sedan to dinner in La Jolla or a chauffeured Temecula day; our couples page has ideas. Families need car seats and room for beach gear and cruise bags. Groups fill a party bus or Sprinter for a prom, a stag weekend or a Padres game.

Heading up the coast? Our Los Angeles limo service covers LAX and Inglewood, and Phoenix car service is the next big city east.

Cancellation

Notice runs from the pickup time on your booking. Over 72 hours: free. Within 72 hours: 10% of the fare. Within 48 hours: 50%. Within 24 hours, or a no-show: 100%. Prom nights, long weekends and large weddings can have their own deadline, and if so it is on the confirmation.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a limo in San Diego?

Your exact fare appears in the booker before payment: fixed, all-in, and specific to your pickup, drop-off, date and vehicle. Try a Stretch Limousine against a Stretch SUV or the Party Bus, or switch to "By the hour", and compare. What you see on screen is what you are charged.

Where do I meet my chauffeur at San Diego airport?

If you add meet & greet, your chauffeur stands inside the terminal holding a name board. Otherwise the confirmation gives the meeting point at the Transportation Plaza in front of Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, and the chauffeur's contact so you can message on landing. Tell us your airline so we know which terminal.

Do you do cruise transfers to the B Street terminal?

Yes. Book from the airport or your hotel to the cruise terminal, and give the ship name so the chauffeur knows whether it is the B Street Pier or the Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier. An SUV holds 6 passengers and 6 bags, which suits most cruise luggage.

Can I book a party bus for a prom in San Diego?

Yes, with availability confirmed at booking. Add the school, venue and an adult contact. Prom nights fill early and may carry a different change deadline, printed on your confirmation. No alcohol is allowed on board.

Can I book a car from San Diego to Niagara Falls?

Not by road in any sensible way; it is more than 4,000 km. Fly into Buffalo Niagara or Toronto Pearson, then let us drive you from the airport to the Falls. We can also book your ride to SAN on the way out.

Is Temecula a good day trip by chauffeur?

Yes. It is about 106 km (66 mi) from downtown, usually 1 h 15 – 1 h 45. Book "By the hour" so the car stays with you between wineries, and nobody has to drive after tastings.
