From Pickering, Niagara Falls is due west and a long way round: the route crosses every major highway in the Greater Toronto Area before it reaches the lake road to Niagara. Most people only make that drive once before deciding someone else should do it. NiagaraFallsLimo.net books Pickering limo service for exactly that trip, as a day out or an overnight, and for everything closer to home: Pearson flights, private aircraft at Oshawa, shows at The Arena, graduations and weddings.
How do you get from Pickering to Niagara Falls with a chauffeur?
Book online with NiagaraFallsLimo.net: enter your Pickering address and your Niagara Falls hotel or attraction, choose a vehicle and see the fixed all-in fare. The trip is about 167 km (104 mi) to the Fallsview area, usually 2 h – 2 h 30 off-peak by the 401 or 407 ETR and the QEW.
Trips that start in Pickering are dispatched in Ontario by NiagaraFallsLimo.net and driven by its own licensed, commercially insured chauffeurs. The booker covers one-way rides, returns, multi-stop days and "By the hour" bookings, and a 24/7 desk watches every job.
The route west: 401 or 407 ETR, then the QEW
Pickering is where two highway systems meet, and that gives your chauffeur real options.
- Highway 401 west is the obvious route for addresses south of Highway 2. From the 401 the car takes Highway 427 south to the QEW, or carries on toward the Gardiner when the 427 is jammed. It is toll-free and, at the wrong hour, very slow.
- Highway 407 ETR begins in Pickering. The 407 ETR FAQ describes 108 km of private toll highway from the QEW in the west to Brock Road in the east, with no toll booths: a windshield transponder or a licence-plate camera records each trip and the bill goes to the plate's account, which in our cars is ours. On a weekday it often saves a great deal of time.
- East of Brock Road, the provincially owned Highway 407 East became toll-free on June 1, 2025, according to the Town of Whitby. That matters for north Pickering and Claremont pickups that join the highway further east.
All routes finish on the QEW, over the Burlington Skyway and through Grimsby, St. Catharines and the Niagara fruit belt. Your chauffeur chooses from live traffic on the day, and the fare you accepted in the booker stays fixed. The QEW section is described in more detail in our Toronto to Niagara Falls route guide.
Pickering to Niagara Falls and back in a day
A round trip from Pickering is around 335 km of driving, which is the main reason to hire a driver for it. Here is a version of the day that puts the gorge, rather than the brink, at its centre:
- 7:45 a.m. Pickup at home. Leaving before 8 means most of the city is crossed before the core of the rush.
- About 10:00 a.m. First stop at Table Rock for the Horseshoe Falls, with time for a boat with Niagara City Cruises.
- 12:00 p.m. North along the Niagara Parkway to the Whirlpool Aero Car, then the Niagara Glen and Botanical Gardens for a walk among the gardens or down into the gorge.
- 2:30 p.m. Lunch and an hour in Niagara-on-the-Lake, or a guided tasting booked through our wine tour limo service.
- 5:00 p.m. Back to the Falls for an early dinner with a view, then the drive home.
- Around 9:00 p.m. Home in Pickering.
The Niagara Parkway is a scenic, lower-speed road that is often easier by car than on foot, and the chauffeur can drop you at each lookout and meet you at the next. Our Niagara Falls tour packages and the private Niagara Falls tour offer ready-made versions of this day. The fares by vehicle for this round trip are shown below the article.

Overnight, one way or a late night out
Overnight. Two one-way rides with a night at the Falls in between turn a long day into an easy weekend. The Fallsview hotels page lists the towers closest to the brink.
One way. Useful for a Niagara-on-the-Lake wedding when the party is staying over, or if you are flying home from Buffalo; the Buffalo Niagara (BUF) page explains the border, and every passenger carries their own documents.
A late return. A casino evening at Fallsview finishes long after the last convenient train. Our post on planning a Pickering casino night with a late return walks through the timing, and the casino limo page explains how the car waits.
Pickering limo service closer to home
Not every Pickering booking leaves Durham Region. Local trips we run every week:
- Pickering GO, on the Lakeshore East line, for passengers arriving by train with bags or late at night.
- Pickering Casino Resort, at 888 Durham Live Avenue, for a dinner, a show or a hotel stay. Its official page lists The Arena, a live entertainment venue for up to 2,500 people, a hotel, and restaurants including the Copperhorn Meet House steakhouse and Sun Sui Wah.
- Rouge National Urban Park, along the Pickering–Toronto boundary, for a group hike or an outdoor photo session. Parks Canada lists the park as free and open 365 days a year, with parking lots open 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; it also notes that the Zoo Road day-use area is currently closed, so check before you set a meeting point.
- Homes across the city, from the lakeside streets near Frenchman's Bay to the subdivisions of north Pickering and the hamlets around Claremont.
Pickering airport limo: Pearson and Oshawa Executive
Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is about 58 km west, usually 50 minutes to 1 h 10 by the 401 or 407 ETR. With a flight number in the booker, arrivals are tracked and the pickup follows the real landing time; meet and greet puts the chauffeur inside arrivals with a name board. The full guide is on the Toronto Pearson transfer page.
Oshawa Executive Airport (YOO) is closer, about 25 km east, usually under half an hour. The City of Oshawa says there are no scheduled passenger flights there; it serves corporate and general aviation, with a full-service FBO open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. For a charter or corporate aircraft arriving at Oshawa, give us the tail number and the expected time, and see our private jet and FBO transfer service and private jet charter pages.
Party bus and limo rental in Pickering
Concerts and shows. A night at The Arena is short to reach but awkward to leave when 2,500 people head for the parking at once. A pre-booked car with an agreed pickup point solves that. For shows downtown or at Toronto's big venues, see our concerts and sports transportation page.
Proms. Durham schools set the timetable; parents set the curfew. Our prom limo service explains how we work with both.
Weddings. A Stretch Limousine for up to eight, an Executive Sprinter for twelve, or a Rolls-Royce for the couple with availability confirmed at booking. The wedding limo service page covers planning.
Birthdays and stag nights. A party bus carries up to 12, and the Stretch SUV Limousine up to 16.
There is no drinking in our vehicles. That is a legal point, not just a house rule: Niagara Region's licensing by-law bars drivers from permitting it, and Ontario's liquor law contains no exception for limousines. A sealed gift bottle, added in the booker, is fine to take home.
Pickering to Niagara Falls: every way, compared
| Way to travel | Door-to-door time | Cost note | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GO train (Lakeshore East to Union, then Lakeshore West) | About 3 h – 3 h 30 with the change | Distance-based GO fare | What you can carry | Solo travellers and couples near Pickering GO |
| Intercity bus from downtown Toronto | Train or drive to Union first, then the bus | Ticket price varies by date | 1–2 bags | Budget travellers with time |
| Rideshare app | Wait, then 2 h – 3 h | Surge pricing at busy times | Varies | A one-way ride on a quiet day |
| Taxi | 2 h – 3 h | Metered | 2–4 bags | Short-notice trips |
| Driving yourself | 2 h – 3 h, plus parking | Fuel, possible 407 ETR tolls, parking | Plenty | People who like to drive |
| Pre-booked chauffeur | Door to door, 2 h – 2 h 30 off-peak | Fixed fare via the booker | Sized to the vehicle | Families, groups, day trips, late returns |
Our honest view: if you live close to Pickering GO and travel light, the train is a good, relaxed way to reach the Falls, and our train and bus guide explains the change at Union Station. A chauffeur wins for families with car seats, groups that would otherwise need two cars, anyone visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries, and any return after dark. The chauffeur vs taxi vs rideshare guide compares the options in detail.
