Mississauga sits a step closer to Niagara than downtown Toronto does, and the drive from Mississauga to Niagara Falls is shorter and usually calmer than the run from downtown. NiagaraFallsLimo.net collects from every part of the city, from the towers around Square One to the lakeside streets of Port Credit, from Streetsville, Erin Mills, Meadowvale and the business parks near the airport, and drives you door to door to Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake or the US side.
It is one of several Greater Toronto origins on our routes to Niagara list, and the fare is fixed and shown in the booker before you pay. The rest of this page is about the details: which highway, which hour, where the car meets you, and when you may not need a car at all.
How long does it take to get from Mississauga to Niagara Falls?
Mississauga to Niagara Falls is about 110 km (68 mi): roughly 112 km from Square One and 110 km from Port Credit to the Horseshoe Falls. Off-peak the drive usually takes 1 h 20 – 1 h 35 by the QEW or Highway 403; allow 2 h on a weekday afternoon. NiagaraFallsLimo.net quotes a fixed fare in its online booker.
Those distances come from road routing with no traffic. Northern Mississauga, around Meadowvale and Heartland, comes out at about 111 km, because the faster line from there runs south on a major north–south road or across on Highway 407. Wherever you start, the trip ends with the same 60-odd km of QEW from Burlington to Niagara.
Three ways out of Mississauga towards Niagara
Mississauga has three highways that point towards Niagara, and the right one depends on where you are and the hour:
- The QEW. From Port Credit, Lorne Park and Clarkson, the QEW is minutes away and runs straight along the lake through Oakville and over the Burlington Skyway. This is the default from the south half of the city.
- Highway 403. From the City Centre and Square One, the 403 heads south-west and joins the QEW in Oakville, where the two share the road as far as Burlington (the Oakville and Burlington page covers that stretch). It is the natural choice from the core.
- Highway 407 ETR. From Meadowvale, Churchill Meadows or the Heartland area, the 407 can bypass the 403 and QEW merge when they are crowded. The 407 is an electronic toll road with no booths; 407 ETR bills the vehicle by transponder or licence plate. On a chauffeured trip that bill goes to the vehicle owner, never to you after the fact.
Your chauffeur picks the line on the day, using live traffic rather than habit. Ontario's 511 map shows closures and collisions if you want to watch along.
Pickup areas across Mississauga

City Centre and Square One
The towers around Square One Shopping Centre and Celebration Square are the city's densest pickup zone. Condo buildings here often share a podium, so name the tower and the entrance in the booker notes, and tell your concierge a car is expected. Shoppers being collected from the mall itself should agree a numbered entrance; the Square One website has the mall map.
Port Credit and the lakeshore
Port Credit is close to the QEW and the GO station, and its main streets are busy on summer evenings. A street-corner pickup works well if you name the corner and are ready at the time booked. Lakeshore homes in Lorne Park and Mineola get a door-to-door pickup like anywhere else.
Streetsville, Erin Mills and Meadowvale
Western and northern neighbourhoods are mostly houses and low-rise streets, the easiest pickups of all. Expect the car in your driveway or at the curb. From here the 407 often makes more sense than the lake route.
Offices near Pearson and the business parks
Many visitors to Mississauga are here for work, in the office parks around the airport and along the 401 and 403 corridors. A chauffeur can collect from a lobby at the end of a meeting and run straight to a Niagara conference hotel. Companies that book regularly should look at our corporate travel page.
Toronto Pearson
Toronto Pearson is in Mississauga, so a flight arrival is effectively a Mississauga pickup. Pearson lists Terminal 1 Door A and Terminal 3 Door A as its pre-arranged pickup points. Everything about flights, meet and greet and terminals is on Toronto Pearson to Niagara Falls.

Timing the drive from Mississauga
Mississauga traffic has its own rhythm. Weekday mornings, the inbound lanes towards Toronto are the heavy ones, so a morning trip to Niagara usually moves until it meets the Oakville merge. Afternoons are the reverse: from about 3 p.m. the QEW and 403 through Oakville and Burlington fill with westbound commuters, and that is exactly your direction.
A sensible plan:
- Weekday, before 7 a.m. or 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.: close to the off-peak 1 h 20 – 1 h 35.
- Weekday, 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.: allow 2 h.
- Summer Friday afternoon: allow 2 h 15 – 2 h 30, and consider leaving at lunchtime.
- Sunday afternoon and evening: easy going to Niagara, slow coming home.
None of these is a promise. They are the margins we ask clients to build in when a dinner reservation, a show at the Fallsview Casino's OLG Stage or a wedding ceremony depends on arriving on time.
Where the trip ends: Falls, wine country or the border
Most Mississauga clients are heading to one of four places:
- Fallsview hotels and the Fallsview Casino Resort. Leave the QEW near McLeod Road; the car pulls into your hotel entrance.
- Clifton Hill and Lundy's Lane. Family hotels and motels around the "Street of Fun" and along Lundy's Lane; see Clifton Hill and Lundy's Lane hotels.
- Niagara-on-the-Lake and the wineries. About 108 km from Square One. Many Mississauga groups turn the drive into a full Niagara wine tour by limo, with the one-day wine tour itinerary as a starting plan.
- The US side. Niagara Falls, New York, or Buffalo, crossing with the chauffeur. See the cross-border section below.
Shopping trips are common too. The Outlet Collection at Niagara sits beside the QEW in Niagara-on-the-Lake; see Outlet Collection at Niagara.
Mississauga to Niagara Falls: car, GO train, bus or rideshare
| Mode | Door-to-door time | Cost note | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GO train | Get to a Lakeshore West station (Port Credit, Clarkson), check the train continues to Niagara Falls, then about 4 km from Niagara Falls GO to the Falls | Distance-based GO fare; check gotransit.com | Carry-on only, in practice | Light travellers living near the lake |
| Intercity bus | Usually means getting to a Toronto or Pearson stop first | Operator's published fare | Operator's allowance | Budget trips from Pearson |
| Rideshare | About the same drive, plus waiting for a match | Surge pricing at busy times | Depends on the car | Short-notice solo trips |
| Taxi | About the same drive | Metered or negotiated | Standard trunk | Unplanned one-offs |
| Driving yourself | Same roads, plus parking at the hotel | Fuel, parking, any 407 toll | Whatever fits | Long stays with a car |
| NiagaraFallsLimo.net chauffeur | Door to door, no transfers | Fixed fare via the booker | Set by the vehicle class | Families, groups, bags, wine days, border days |
The GO question is worth an honest answer. Port Credit and Clarkson stations are on GO Transit's Lakeshore West line, the same line that runs to Niagara Falls, but only some trips go all the way; check the timetable at GO Transit before you count on it. Our guide to train and bus travel to Niagara explains the connections.
When public transit wins, and when a chauffeur is the better call
Use GO or a bus when you are one or two people with light bags, you live within walking distance of Port Credit or Clarkson station, your train goes through to Niagara Falls, and your hotel is near a WEGO stop. That is a reasonable, low-cost trip, and we would rather tell you so.
A chauffeur is the better call when:
- you are a family with children in car seats, or with a stroller and a week's luggage;
- you are a group of five to twelve who would otherwise need two cars;
- you live in Meadowvale, Churchill Meadows or Erin Mills, far from a lakeshore GO station;
- you want to stop at wineries, the outlets or the Floral Clock without returning to a station;
- you are crossing the border and want the same vehicle on both sides;
- you are coming home late at night, after the last convenient train.

Crossing into the United States from a Mississauga pickup
Some Mississauga clients use Niagara as a gateway: a day at Niagara Falls State Park, a game in Buffalo, or a flight out of Buffalo Niagara International. The chauffeur crosses with you over the Rainbow, Lewiston–Queenston or Peace Bridge, chosen on the day. Every passenger must carry their own valid documents. For Canadians, that usually means a passport or a NEXUS card; Niagara Falls Tourism's border page lists the crossings. Our cross-border car service page and the Lewiston–Queenston Bridge guide have the details. No one can promise how long the border will take, and we don't.

Frequently asked questions
How far is Mississauga from Niagara Falls?
By road, Mississauga is about 110 km (68 mi) from the Horseshoe Falls: about 112 km from Square One, 110 km from Port Credit and 111 km from Meadowvale. Off-peak the drive usually takes 1 h 20 – 1 h 35 on the QEW, Highway 403 or Highway 407 ETR.
Is there a bus from Mississauga to Niagara Falls?
Intercity buses to Niagara mostly leave from Toronto stops and Toronto Pearson Terminal 1, so most Mississauga riders first travel to one of those. Check the operator for current stops and times. For door-to-door travel, a pre-booked car avoids the extra connection.
Can I take the GO train from Mississauga to Niagara Falls?
Port Credit and Clarkson stations are on GO's Lakeshore West line, which serves Niagara Falls, but only some trips continue that far. Check gotransit.com for a through train. The train terminates on Bridge Street, roughly 4 km short of the Falls, so plan the last leg too.
How much is a limo from Mississauga to Niagara Falls?
The price depends on your pickup, drop-off, date and vehicle. NiagaraFallsLimo.net does not use a rate card; the online booker shows the fixed, all-in fare for your exact trip before you pay, so you can compare a sedan, an SUV and a Sprinter.
Do you use the 407 from Mississauga?
Sometimes. From northern Mississauga the 407 ETR can be faster than the 403 and QEW merge. The chauffeur chooses based on live traffic. The 407 bills the vehicle by plate or transponder, so no toll bill is ever sent to you afterwards.
Can you pick up in Brampton too?
Yes. Brampton is a common origin; from downtown Brampton the drive is about 126 km via Hurontario Street and the 407 ETR. Enter the address in the booker to see the fixed fare.
Can we visit wineries on the way from Mississauga?
Yes. Add winery stops in the booker or book by the hour. The chauffeur never drinks, and no one in your group has to drive after a tasting.
