Hotels in the Niagara Falls tourist district sit close together, but the ground between them is not flat. The Fallsview hotels stand on the escarpment above the Horseshoe Falls; Clifton Hill and the Falls Avenue hotels sit lower, near the river and the Rainbow Bridge. That slope is why visitors ask about a Niagara Falls hotel shuttle almost as soon as they check in.
The answer is that several shared services cover parts of the district, on fixed schedules and fixed routes, and they do a good job of it. NiagaraFallsLimo.net covers what they do not: airports, wineries, late nights, other towns, and any trip where you want the car at your door at a time you pick.
Is there a free hotel shuttle in Niagara Falls, Ontario?
Partly. A free casino shuttle links Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara on Fridays, Saturdays and event dates for guests of participating hotels, and WEGO buses connect hotels and attractions for a fare. For airports, wineries or late nights, NiagaraFallsLimo.net's on-demand cars are booked online; Fallsview to Clifton Hill is about 1.6 km.
The Niagara Falls hotel shuttle most guests mean: the casino shuttle
The best-known free shuttle in the district runs between the two casinos. According to the Falls Avenue hotels' casino page, it operates on Fridays and Saturdays and on OLG Stage event dates, from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am.
- Pickups: on the hour and half hour at the Fallsview Casino Resort lower concourse bus area, and at quarter past and quarter to the hour at the Casino Niagara Level 3 entrance.
- Who can ride: guests showing a participating hotel's room keycard, a Momentum card, or a show ticket for the OLG Stage or Avalon Theatre.
- Participating hotels listed: Sheraton Fallsview, The Brock Niagara Falls-Fallsview (Tapestry Collection by Hilton), Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa, Marriott on the Falls, Skyline Hotel, and Clifton Victoria Inn at the Falls.
For a night moving between the two gaming floors, it is excellent. It is not a general hotel shuttle, though: it runs between two points, on certain days, in the evening. Our Fallsview Casino Resort page covers arriving at the main entrance by car.
The WEGO bus
WEGO is Niagara Parks' hop-on, hop-off visitor transit, and it is the closest thing the district has to a citywide hotel shuttle. Niagara Parks' WEGO page describes it as running year-round, with lines meeting at Table Rock Centre. Adult passes cost $16 for 24 hours and $20 for 48 hours (as of 2026, tax included).
The Blue Line serves the hotel district. Its 2026 spring-summer brochure lists stops for the Marriott hotels, the shared Wyndham Grand Fallsview, Hilton and Fallsview Casino stop, the Skylon Tower and Wyndham Garden, Casino Niagara, Victoria Avenue at Clifton Hill, and Ferry Street at Fallsview Boulevard. In summer 2026 it ran every 20 minutes through the day, with the last trips after 10 pm. The Green Line follows the Niagara Parkway past the Whirlpool Aero Car, the Butterfly Conservatory and the Floral Clock.
WEGO is a good tool. It is still a bus: you walk to a stop, wait for the next departure, and share it with everyone else, often with a stroller folded on your lap.
The Falls Incline Railway
The short, steep Falls Incline Railway links the Fallsview tourist area with Table Rock Centre at the brink of the Horseshoe Falls. Niagara Parks says it runs year-round and is accessible and climate-controlled. For guests of the Fallsview hotels heading down to the Falls and back, it removes the steepest part of the walk.
What a Niagara Falls hotel shuttle does not cover
Put the casino shuttle, WEGO and the Incline together and the tourist district is reasonably well connected in daytime. The gaps are predictable:
- Airports. Toronto Pearson is about 121 km away and Buffalo Niagara International about 43 km, across a border. Ask your hotel whether it offers any airport service; most visitors arrange their own.
- Wine country. Niagara-on-the-Lake is about 23 km from Fallsview, and the wineries are spread along country roads.
- Late nights. After the last bus, and on nights when the casino shuttle is not running, you are on foot, in a taxi or in a booked car.
- Hotels away from the core. Great Wolf Lodge on Victoria Avenue is about 4.8 km from the Fallsview hotels, and the Lundy's Lane strip runs west from the tourist area. Check how far your hotel is from the nearest WEGO stop before relying on it.
- Families with car seats. Buses do not fit child seats; you carry the child on your lap.
Limited schedules vs on demand
The core difference between a shuttle and a private car is who sets the clock.
A shuttle sets it for you. That is efficient when your plans happen to match its route and timetable, and costs little or nothing. A private car is set by you: pickup at 6:40 pm sharp for a 7 pm Skylon Tower dinner reservation, a wait while you change for the evening, and a ride back at 11 pm after the Falls illumination. The Fallsview hotels' porte-cochères are designed for exactly that kind of door-to-door pickup.
Three evenings, three right answers
A Saturday at the casinos. You are staying at the Sheraton Fallsview and want an hour at Fallsview Casino, then a late supper near Clifton Hill. Use the casino shuttle with your room keycard; it runs on Saturday evenings, and the Sheraton is on the participating list. No car needed.
A Tuesday dinner at the Skylon Tower with two small children. The Skylon is only about 1 km from Fallsview Casino Resort by road, but you have a stroller, a booster seat and a reservation at a set time. WEGO would work on paper. In practice, a booked car at the hotel door at 6:30 pm, with the booster fitted, and a pickup after dessert, is the calmer evening.
A December night at the Winter Festival of Lights. The 2026-27 festival runs from 14 November to 10 January, with displays along the Parkway, Fallsview and Lundy's Lane. Shared buses run on winter schedules and the walk between displays is long and cold. A car booked by the hour, moving slowly between the light displays and waiting while you step out, turns it into a comfortable outing, and the fireworks nights listed on the festival site are easy to fit around.
Chauffeur vs rideshare vs taxi for this trip
Here is how every option compares for a typical trip within Niagara Falls, from a Fallsview hotel to Clifton Hill.
| Mode | Door-to-door time, Fallsview to Clifton Hill | Cost note | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Walking | roughly 20 minutes downhill for about 1.6 km | free | none | dry evenings, no small children |
| Falls Incline plus a walk | a few minutes on the Incline, then along the river | posted Incline fare or included in passes | none | Fallsview guests heading to Table Rock |
| WEGO Blue Line | depends on the next departure | $16 adult for 24 h (as of 2026) | what you carry | daytime sightseeing |
| Casino shuttle | set by its timetable, between the two casinos only | free for eligible riders | none | casino nights on Fridays, Saturdays and event dates |
| Taxi or rideshare | a few minutes of driving, plus the wait | metered or app pricing, surge possible | trunk space | quick one-way hops |
| Private chauffeur | a few minutes, at the time you choose | fixed fare via booker, shown before you pay | the class you chose | airports, wine days, families, late nights, groups |
Our verdict, without spin: for getting around the tourist district in daylight, the WEGO bus and the Incline are good value, and the casino shuttle is the obvious way to hop between gaming floors on a Saturday night. A taxi is fine for a short ride at the end of the evening. A pre-booked car makes sense for airport runs, wine country, timed dinner reservations, families with young children, and groups who want to travel together. Our taxi alternative page explains how a booked car differs from a cab rank.
Who it suits
Individuals can get a long way on WEGO and their feet. Couples often mix: walk and ride the Incline by day, book a car for a special dinner. Families feel the shuttle's limits most, because of strollers, car seats and tired children at 9 pm; the families page covers what we prepare. Groups of six to twelve find that one booked SUV or Sprinter costs less effort than shepherding everyone onto a bus and off again.
Booking it with NiagaraFallsLimo.net in 3 steps
- Enter your hotel as the pickup and the destination as the drop-off, with the date and time. For a dinner and a return, book a return trip; for an evening with several stops, choose By the hour.
- Choose the vehicle: a sedan for two or three, an SUV for up to six, a Sprinter for up to twelve. Each shows its fixed fare.
- Add guests, bags and child seats, pay securely, and wait for the email confirmation. Your chauffeur meets you at the hotel entrance.
Not sure which entrance? Our Fallsview hotels guide and the Clifton Hill and Lundy's Lane hotels guide note where cars pull in, and arriving guests can book their transfer on the Toronto Pearson page.

Frequently asked questions
Do Niagara Falls hotels have a free shuttle?
Not as a general rule. The best-known free service is the casino shuttle between Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara, which runs on Fridays, Saturdays and OLG Stage event dates for eligible riders. Most hotels rely on WEGO, the Incline Railway and taxis for other trips, so ask your hotel what it offers.
Who can ride the free casino shuttle in Niagara Falls?
Riders show a participating hotel room keycard, a Momentum card, or a show ticket for the OLG Stage or Avalon Theatre. The participating hotels listed include Sheraton Fallsview, The Brock, the two Marriotts, Skyline Hotel and Clifton Victoria Inn at the Falls. Check the casino or hotel for current details before you rely on it.
Does the WEGO bus stop at Fallsview hotels?
Yes. The WEGO Blue Line's 2026 brochure lists stops for the Marriott hotels, the Wyndham Grand Fallsview, Hilton and Fallsview Casino stop, the Skylon Tower and Wyndham Garden, and others in the tourist district. Passes cost $16 for 24 hours for adults (as of 2026). Check the timetable for the current season.
Is there a hotel shuttle to Toronto Pearson from Niagara Falls?
Ask your hotel directly, because airport services vary and change. Most visitors arrange their own transfer. Pearson is about 121 km (75 mi) from Fallsview, usually 1 h 35 off-peak. A pre-booked car with flight tracking is the door-to-door option, with the fixed fare shown before you pay.
Is the Falls Incline Railway a shuttle?
It works like one for a single trip: it carries passengers between the Fallsview tourist area and Table Rock Centre at the brink of the Horseshoe Falls, year-round. It saves the steep walk down and up the escarpment, but it only covers that short hop.
What is the best way to get around Niagara Falls without a car?
Walk the tourist district by day, use the Incline Railway between Fallsview and Table Rock, take WEGO buses to attractions along the Parkway, and use the casino shuttle on eligible nights. For airports, wine country and late evenings, a taxi or a pre-booked car fills the gaps.
Can a private car wait while we have dinner?
Yes, if you book By the hour. The chauffeur waits near the restaurant and drives you on to the next stop or back to your hotel. If you only need a drop-off and a pickup later, a return trip with a set pickup time is usually the simpler booking.
