Couples usually book the photographer and the venue in the first month of planning and the Niagara Falls wedding limo somewhere near the end, often after the date's most popular vehicles have gone. The car is a smaller line in the budget, but it carries the bride to the aisle and the couple to every photo, and the wrong choice, too small, too short a booking, the wrong roof height for a veil, shows on the day.
This guide from NiagaraFallsLimo.net sets out a realistic booking timeline, compares the vehicles honestly, and shows how to work out the hours you need.
When should you book a Niagara Falls wedding limo?
Book the couple's car as soon as the venue and ceremony time are fixed, ideally six to twelve months ahead for a summer Saturday, because Rolls-Royce, Maybach and stretch vehicles are confirmed at booking. NiagaraFallsLimo.net drives Fallsview to Queenston Chapel in about 15 minutes (12 km). The booker shows each fixed fare.
A short timeline works well for most couples.
The wedding car booking timeline
9 to 12 months before
- Fix the ceremony and reception venues and times. The car plan follows them.
- Reserve the couple's car if the date is a Saturday between June and September. The Rolls-Royce and Mercedes-Maybach classes are two-passenger cars with availability confirmed at booking, so they go first.
- Decide whether you will provide guest transport. If so, read our post on winery wedding guest transportation planning.
4 to 6 months before
- Book the wedding party vehicle. A Stretch Limousine (up to 8) or Stretch SUV Limousine (up to 16) for bridesmaids and groomsmen.
- Book guest shuttles, one Executive Sprinter per 12 riders, with a coach on request for large weddings.
- Map the photo stops with your photographer, so the car's hours are realistic.
1 to 2 months before
- Confirm addresses and times for every pickup: the bride's hotel, the groom's hotel, the ceremony, the photo stops and the reception.
- Add details: passenger counts, child seats for the flower girl and ring bearer, a wheelchair option for a grandparent.
- Read the confirmation. Big weddings may carry a different cancellation deadline from our standard terms, and it will be printed there.
The week of the wedding
- Send the final run-of-day to us in the booking notes and to the planner.
- Name one contact for the chauffeur on the day, ideally the planner or a calm member of the wedding party, not the couple.
- Pack a small kit for the car: tissues, a phone charger and a garment bag for the jacket, so nothing has to be fetched from the hotel between photos.

A note on vintage cars
Many couples ask for a vintage car. NiagaraFallsLimo.net does not list vintage vehicles in its booker. If you want the classic look, the Rolls-Royce is the closest fit in our fleet, and the Maybach suits couples who prefer something contemporary. If a vintage car is essential to you, book it separately and use our vehicles for the wedding party and guests. Our fleet page shows every class.
Dresses, veils and roof height
The stretch limousine is the classic photo, but its low roof and side-facing seats make it hard to enter in a ball gown with a cathedral veil. Brides with full dresses often ride in an Executive Black SUV or Sprinter and save the stretch for the bridal party. Our stretch limo and Sprinter page shows interiors.
How many hours do you need?
Most wedding car bookings in Niagara Falls are made "By the hour", because the day has waiting built in: the ceremony, the signing, the photos. Work it out like this:
- Getting-ready pickup: 15 minutes before the bride needs to leave.
- Drive to the ceremony: use the distances below.
- Ceremony and signing: 45 to 60 minutes for most ceremonies.
- Photo stops: 20 to 40 minutes each, including loading.
- Drive to the reception and grand entrance: add 15 minutes of buffer.
A typical Niagara Falls wedding car books five to seven hours. If the ceremony and reception are in the same Fallsview hotel and photos are nearby, three or four hours may be enough. If the day includes a ceremony in Niagara-on-the-Lake and a reception in Niagara Falls, plan for more.
Real distances for wedding days
- Fallsview hotels to Oakes Garden Theatre: about 1.8 km (1 mi), under 5 minutes.
- Fallsview hotels to Queenston Chapel: about 12 km (8 mi), around 15 to 20 minutes on the Niagara Parkway.
- Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake to Queenston Chapel: about 11 km (7 mi), roughly 15 minutes.
- Fallsview hotels to the Floral Clock: about 10 km (6 mi), around 15 minutes.
- Fallsview hotels to Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake: about 23 km (15 mi), 25 to 35 minutes.
Niagara Falls ceremony and photo locations
Niagara Parks runs a wedding program along the river. Its weddings FAQ names ceremony sites including Oakes Garden Theatre, Mather's Arch, Dufferin Island, Rambler's Rest, the Botanical Gardens' Willow Pond and Wedding Arbour, the Floral Showhouse, the Butterfly Conservatory and Queenston Chapel, and notes that most ceremony locations are in public parks. Queenston Chapel is in the village of Queenston beside the Laura Secord Homestead and holds up to 100 guests.
On photos, Niagara Parks gives two messages: the FAQ says no permit is required to take photos at its outdoor locations, while the Queenston Chapel page describes outdoor photography venues as first-come, first-served, closed during ceremonies, and bookable with a rental fee. Confirm with Niagara Parks Weddings what applies to your session.
For the car, the practical point is that vehicles cannot drive onto park lawns. The chauffeur drops the couple at the nearest legal stopping point and waits close by. Our Niagara Glen and Botanical Gardens page shows where cars pull in near the gardens, and the Fallsview hotels page covers hotel entrances for getting-ready pickups.
Rules worth knowing before the day
- No toasts in the car. Niagara Region's vehicle-for-hire By-law 2021-58 forbids drivers to permit any alcohol consumption in the vehicle. Toast at the reception; the booker lets guests add a sealed bottle as a gift the couple opens later at home.
- One belt per person. The same by-law limits passengers to the vehicle's seats and belts, so a stretch for eight takes eight.
- No smoking or vaping, including for the groomsmen between photos.
- Cancellation terms. Our standard terms run from the scheduled pickup time: no charge with more than 72 hours' notice, then 10% inside 72 hours, 50% inside 48 hours and 100% inside 24 hours or for a no-show. A large wedding may have its own deadline, shown on the confirmation.
Booking it with NiagaraFallsLimo.net in 3 steps

Chauffeur vs rideshare vs taxi for this trip
| Mode | Door-to-door time | Cost note | Space | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A friend's car | Flexible | Fuel; a sober friend | Tight for a gown | Very small, informal weddings |
| Rideshare | Quick in town, unpredictable on a busy Saturday | Surge pricing at peak times | No room for a full dress | Guests, not the couple |
| Taxi | Similar; can be booked ahead | Metered | Standard car or minivan | A guest's late ride home |
| Pre-booked chauffeur | Waits through ceremony and photos | Fixed fare via booker | Up to 16 per vehicle | The couple, the wedding party, guest shuttles |
The verdict: a guest heading home from a Fallsview reception can take a taxi or rideshare without any trouble. For the couple and the wedding party, though, the car has to wait through the ceremony, move on cue between photo stops and handle a long dress, and nothing on demand does that. The chauffeur vs taxi vs rideshare guide compares all three for weddings and other occasions.
Who this suits
Couples booking the Rolls-Royce or Maybach for the day are the core users; our couples page explains more. Groups, the wedding party, travel together in a stretch or Sprinter. Families, parents and grandparents, appreciate an SUV with an easy step. Individuals, an officiant or a guest flying in alone, can be booked a single transfer. Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should I book a wedding limo in Niagara Falls?
For a summer Saturday, six to twelve months ahead, as soon as the venue and ceremony time are fixed. Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Maybach and stretch vehicles are confirmed at booking and are the first to go. Weekday and winter weddings usually need less notice.
How many hours should I book a wedding limo for?
Most Niagara Falls weddings book five to seven hours, covering the getting-ready pickup, the ceremony, photos and the arrival at the reception. If everything is in one Fallsview hotel with photos nearby, three or four hours may be enough. Add time if the day spans Niagara-on-the-Lake and Niagara Falls.
Do you offer vintage wedding cars?
No. NiagaraFallsLimo.net does not list vintage vehicles. The Rolls-Royce is the closest classic option in our fleet, and the Mercedes-Maybach suits couples who prefer a modern look. Both seat two and are confirmed at booking.
What is the best wedding car for a big dress?
An Executive Black SUV or an Executive Sprinter, because both have higher roofs and easier entry than a stretch limousine. Many brides ride in one of those and use the stretch for the bridal party photos. Mention the dress in the booking notes.
Can we have champagne in the wedding limo?
No. Niagara Region's by-law forbids drivers to permit alcohol consumption in a vehicle for hire, and Ontario law has no limousine exception. Toast at the reception. If someone wants to give the couple a bottle, add it sealed in the booker for them to open later.
How much does a wedding limo cost in Niagara Falls?
It depends on the vehicle, the date and the hours. The online booker shows the fixed all-in fare for your exact route and vehicle class before you pay, so you can compare a Rolls-Royce for the couple with a stretch or Sprinter for the wedding party.
