Ask five people in a Fallsview hotel lobby where to get a good steak and you will hear five different names, most of them within a ten-minute walk. The steak restaurants in Niagara Falls cluster around Fallsview Boulevard and the casino for a reason: big hotels, late crowds and visitors who want one serious dinner on the trip. This guide from the reservations desk at NiagaraFallsLimo.net compares the rooms we drive guests to most often, using what each restaurant and hotel publishes, and covers the practical questions: hours, age rules, dress and the ride back.

Which steakhouses in Niagara Falls are worth booking?

STK Steakhouse Fallsview at the Hyatt Regency, The Keg Fallsview at the Wyndham Grand, Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse at the Hilton and Prime Steakhouse at Falls Avenue Resort are the main choices, all within about 2 km (1.2 mi) of Fallsview Casino, a few minutes by car. NiagaraFallsLimo.net books door-to-door dinner rides online at a fixed fare.

STK Steakhouse Fallsview: the view and the energy

STK occupies the restaurant space at the Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview, the 42-floor tower that was the Embassy Suites until April 2026. Niagara Falls Tourism lists STK among the hotel's dining options with panoramic views of the falls (Hyatt Regency listing). The Keg used to operate in this building; it has since moved down the boulevard.

STK is the choice for a celebration that wants the falls in the window. Book a weekend table well ahead. The Hyatt is about 3.7 km (2.3 mi), seven minutes, from Table Rock if you are combining dinner with a Journey Behind the Falls visit. Our Hyatt Regency Fallsview page covers the hotel entrance and drop-off.

The Keg Fallsview: the late, reliable option

The Keg Steakhouse + Bar at the Wyndham Grand Fallsview, 6455 Fallsview Boulevard, sits across the street from Fallsview Casino. The Keg lists it open from noon to midnight Sunday to Thursday and noon to 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays, with a DJ in the lounge from 9 pm on weekend nights. It offers private dining, and parking is complimentary for Wyndham Grand guests, with the parking entrance on Stanley Avenue (The Keg Fallsview).

Those hours make it the steakhouse of choice after a show at the casino's OLG Stage or Avalon Theatre. From the casino's main entrance it is a couple of hundred metres; guests usually walk there and ride back. Our Wyndham Grand page explains the hotel entrance and pickup point.

The Keg also runs a second Niagara Falls restaurant inside the Courtyard Marriott at 5950 Victoria Avenue, about 1.3 km from Fallsview Casino. It keeps shorter hours (from 4 pm on weekdays and noon at weekends, closing between 10 pm and midnight), has free parking and private or semi-private areas, and is wheelchair accessible.

Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse: for groups and big appetites

The Hilton lists Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse among its restaurants as a Brazilian steakhouse serving rodizio-style meats, with reservations through OpenTable (Hilton Niagara Falls dining). Rodizio means skewers carved at the table until you signal you are done, which suits mixed groups who would rather taste several cuts than argue over one.

The same hotel holds the Watermark on its 33rd floor, with views of both falls, if part of your group prefers a continental menu. The Hilton is at 6361 Fallsview Boulevard, about 0.5 km from Fallsview Casino. See our Hilton Niagara Falls/Fallsview page.

Prime Steakhouse and 21 Club: the casino-side rooms

Down the hill, Falls Avenue Resort lists Prime Steakhouse for steak and seafood among a long roster that also includes Massimo's Italian Fallsview and the Fallsview Grand Buffet on the Sheraton's dining level (Falls Avenue Resort dining). Prime is the natural pick if you are staying at the Sheraton Fallsview, The Brock or the Skyline, or spending the evening at Casino Niagara and Clifton Hill, which are connected to the resort.

Up the hill, Fallsview Casino Resort lists 21 Club as its steak and seafood restaurant. The resort requires guests to be 19 or older to enter the casino; if your group includes anyone younger, confirm with the resort how they can reach the restaurant before booking. Our Fallsview Casino Resort page covers the main entrances.

Across the river: The Western Door at Seneca Niagara

On the US side, Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino calls The Western Door Steakhouse its signature dining option, with online reservations (Seneca Niagara dining). Seneca's restaurants are open to all ages, with under-18s accompanied by a parent or guardian, while the gaming floor is 21+.

It is about 4 km (2.5 mi) from the Fallsview hotels via the Rainbow Bridge, plus border inspection each way, and every diner needs valid documents. Compare the two resorts in our journal post on Seneca Niagara vs Fallsview Casino.

Dress codes, ages and booking tips

  • Dress. None of the official restaurant or hotel pages we checked published a formal dress code for these steakhouses. Smart clothes are never out of place at a celebration dinner, but if it matters, ask when you book.
  • Ages. Ontario casinos are 19+. Steakhouses inside hotels generally welcome families; those inside or reached through a casino may not, so check before bringing children.
  • Halal. Sheikh's Steakhouse of Niagara at 5019 Centre Street advertises a 100% halal certified menu; ask about the certifier if that matters to your family. Our post on halal restaurants for visiting families has more.
  • Alcohol and the ride. Enjoy the wine list at the table. There is no drinking in our vehicles under Niagara Region's vehicle-for-hire by-law.

Tips from the reservations desk

  • Reserve the table before the car. Weekend tables at STK and The Keg Fallsview go first, especially on concert nights at the casino's two theatres, which host more than 320 shows a year between them.
  • Say what the dinner is for. A birthday or anniversary note in the reservation helps the restaurant seat you well, and helps us time the pickup.
  • Large parties. The Keg lists private dining at both Niagara Falls locations; ask early for a group of eight or more.
  • Build in slack. A show that runs long or a table that turns late is normal. Booking the car "By the hour" removes the need to watch the clock over dessert.

Getting there and back

Fallsview is compact, but the walk between towers involves hills and, from November to March, wind and ice. Approximate drives:

  • Hilton to Sheikh's Steakhouse on Centre Street: about 1.5 km (1 mi), three minutes.
  • Fallsview Casino to The Keg at the Courtyard: about 1.3 km (0.8 mi), three minutes.
  • Clifton Hill to the Wyndham Grand: about 1.6 km (1 mi), three minutes.

From farther away, Toronto Pearson to Fallsview is about 122 km (76 mi), usually 1 h 30 to 1 h 45 off-peak; allow 2 h or more on a summer Friday. Some visitors book a steak dinner as the first stop after landing.

The verdict: for two people staying next door, walk. A rideshare is fine for a casual dinner on a quiet night. A chauffeur makes sense for birthday tables of eight, when the dinner follows a show and taxi ranks are long, when you are crossing to Seneca Niagara, or when you want the same car waiting at 1 am. Our casino limo service is built around exactly these evenings.

Who it suits

Individuals on business trips often want a reliable late dinner and a car back at a fixed time; The Keg's hours help. Couples gravitate to STK or the Hilton's tower restaurants for a view. Families do well at Brasa or the Courtyard Keg, where the room is relaxed and children have choices. Groups should book private dining and travel together, which our group transportation page explains. For other cuisines, see our Niagara Falls restaurants guide and the journal post on late-night food after the casino.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best steakhouse in Niagara Falls, Ontario?

It depends on the evening. STK at the Hyatt Regency offers panoramic falls views, The Keg at the Wyndham Grand is the dependable late option, Brasa at the Hilton suits groups who like variety, and Prime at Falls Avenue Resort is closest to Clifton Hill and Casino Niagara.

Is The Keg still at the Embassy Suites?

No. The Embassy Suites became the Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview in April 2026, and STK Steakhouse now occupies the restaurant space there. The Keg's Fallsview restaurant is at the Wyndham Grand, 6455 Fallsview Boulevard, across from Fallsview Casino, and a second Keg operates at the Courtyard Marriott on Victoria Avenue.

Which Niagara Falls steakhouse stays open latest?

The Keg Fallsview at the Wyndham Grand lists hours to 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays and to midnight the rest of the week. Hours change seasonally, so confirm on the day. NiagaraFallsLimo.net can schedule a late pickup to match your reservation.

Do Niagara Falls steakhouses have a dress code?

None of the official pages we checked published a formal dress code. Smart casual clothes suit every room on this list, and you may want to dress up for STK or a Hilton tower restaurant on a special occasion. If a specific rule matters, ask the restaurant when you reserve.

Is there a halal steakhouse in Niagara Falls?

Sheikh's Steakhouse of Niagara at 5019 Centre Street, Unit 102, advertises a 100% halal certified menu on its own website. If certification matters to your family, ask which body certifies the restaurant when you book.

Can children eat at casino steakhouses?

Ontario casinos are 19+, so restaurants reached through the gaming floor may not suit children. Hotel steakhouses such as STK, The Keg and Brasa sit in hotels rather than casinos. Check with the restaurant before booking with anyone under 19.

How far is Seneca Niagara's steakhouse from the Canadian Fallsview hotels?

About 4 km (2.5 mi) via the Rainbow Bridge, a few minutes of driving plus border inspection in both directions. Every guest needs valid documents to enter the US, and the Seneca gaming floor is 21+.
