Before you pay for a Niagara chauffeur service, it is fair to ask what the money buys. Will there be a charge for the bridge? What if the flight is two hours late? Is the car seat extra? Who pays for parking at the winery? The answers vary a great deal between operators, and the vague ones are usually the expensive ones. Here is how a booking with NiagaraFallsLimo.net works, sorted into what is built in, what you choose, what to confirm, and what is never on the table.
What does a Niagara chauffeur service booking include?
A NiagaraFallsLimo.net booking includes a licensed, commercially insured vehicle and chauffeur at a fixed all-in fare shown before payment, with flight tracking on airport pickups. A Toronto Pearson to Niagara Falls transfer, about 122 km (76 mi) and usually 1 h 30 – 1 h 45, is priced in the online booker in full.
Extras such as meet and greet inside arrivals, child seats or a wheelchair option are chosen in the booker and appear in the fare before you pay. Nothing is added after the trip for the things you booked.
What "fixed all-in fare" means in practice
A fixed fare is set by three things you enter: the pickup, the drop-off (or the hours for an hourly booking) and the vehicle class. Once you pay, that is the price for that trip. There is no meter, no surge multiplier on a busy night, and no separate line afterwards for fuel or a bridge toll on the route you booked.
For context, here is what the public pays at the border as of 2026, because guests often ask. The Niagara Falls Bridge Commission charges passenger cars US$6.00 or CA$8.50 to enter Canada at the Rainbow, Whirlpool Rapids and Lewiston-Queenston bridges, with limousines and RVs charged per axle; there is no toll entering the United States (NFBC tolls). You do not pay that at the booth in our car; it is part of the trip you booked.
What changes a fare is changing the trip: a different address, more passengers than the vehicle seats, extra stops, or more hours. Our post on what drives Niagara limo rates up or down explains the levers in more detail.
Built into every booking
These come with every reservation, whatever the vehicle:
- A licensed, commercially insured vehicle and chauffeur. Niagara Region licenses limousines as specialty vehicles for hire, with insurance, driver checks and vehicle inspection rules.
- One 24/7 reservations desk for changes and questions before and during your trip.
- Flight tracking on airport pickups, so the pickup follows the real arrival time.
- Train tracking on station pickups, for VIA Rail and GO arrivals at Niagara Falls and elsewhere. See train station transfers.
- A direct, private trip. The car is yours; no shared ride, no extra passengers picked up on the way.
- Discretion. Chauffeurs do not discuss passengers or their business, and NDAs are available on request.
- Trained service animals, welcome on any booking.
- A sober chauffeur. The chauffeur never drinks, on any trip.
Airport pickups: what flight tracking covers
Flight tracking is the single most useful thing on an airport booking, and it is worth understanding what it does. You enter the flight number in the booker. The pickup time is then tied to the actual arrival, not the scheduled one, so a delayed landing is not treated as you being late.
Where the car meets you depends on the airport. At Toronto Pearson, the airport directs pre-arranged rides to designated pickup areas, which it lists as Terminal 1 Door A and Terminal 3 Door A (Toronto Pearson pre-arranged services). At Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, curbside spots outside the mainland pavilion allow only a short wait, five minutes on the free spots, according to the airport's pick-up and drop-off page. Timing matters there.
If you would rather be met inside, add meet and greet in the booker: the chauffeur waits in arrivals with a name board and walks you to the car. It is especially useful for first-time visitors, older travellers and anyone landing late. Details are on our meet and greet page and the Toronto Pearson transfers page.
See what your transfer includes
Train pickups deserve a word of their own. The VIA Rail and GO station in Niagara Falls shares one address, 4267 Bridge Street, about 4 km from the Falls. GO Transit lists the station as unstaffed with no free customer parking, so a car waiting outside is more useful there than at many stations. VIA says its station building opens 30 minutes before a train and closes 30 minutes after it leaves. With the train number in your booking, the pickup follows the real arrival, the same way it does for a flight. The same applies to Amtrak's Maple Leaf, which stops at both Niagara Falls stations; note that at the border, Amtrak passengers leave the train with their bags for inspection.
On hourly bookings, everything above still applies, plus the car and chauffeur stay with you for the block you booked. You can add stops during the day without rebooking, as long as the plan fits inside your hours.
Extras you choose in the booker
| Extra | What it is | Who adds it |
|---|---|---|
| Meet and greet | Chauffeur inside arrivals with a name board | First-time visitors, late arrivals, executives |
| Child seats | Infant, toddler and booster seats fitted before pickup | Families with children under 8 |
| Wheelchair option | A vehicle and plan suited to a wheelchair user | Guests with mobility needs |
| Extra stops | Multi-stop mode for a fixed sequence of stops | Errands, collecting friends, photo stops |
| By the hour | The car and chauffeur reserved for a block of time | Wine days, weddings, sightseeing |
| VIP security add-on | Security arranged alongside the booking | High-profile clients |
| Sealed gift bottle | A sealed bottle to take away, never opened on board | Anniversaries, thank-yous |
Every extra appears in the fixed fare before you pay. Accessibility planning has its own page, accessible transportation, because the details matter: chair dimensions, whether the guest can transfer to a seat, and how much space a mobility aid needs.
What to confirm rather than assume
A few things are worth asking about before you pay, because they are not standard across every vehicle or every operator.
Amenities. Bottled water, phone chargers, screens and similar comforts vary by vehicle. Vehicles are "or similar" and confirmed at booking. If something matters, put it in the booker notes or ask the desk.
Waiting beyond a delay. Flight tracking covers a late plane. Waiting for other reasons, such as a long customs line on a busy international arrival or a hotel checkout that runs over, is worth discussing at booking. Our post on waiting time and extra stops on Niagara transfers covers how to plan for it.
Gratuity. Customs differ by country and guests often ask what is expected. We cover it separately in gratuity on Niagara chauffeur service.
Changes after booking. Moving a pickup time, changing a hotel or adding a passenger is done through the reservations desk. Cancellations follow notice windows counted from the scheduled pickup, set out on your confirmation.
What is never part of a booking
Some things no chauffeur service should promise, and we do not.
- Drinking on board. There is no drinking in our vehicles. Niagara Region's vehicle-for-hire by-law forbids a licensed driver to permit alcohol consumption in the vehicle, and Ontario's liquor law has no limousine exception.
- A guaranteed border crossing time. The chauffeur crosses with you on cross-border trips, but nobody controls the queue or the inspection.
- Your travel documents. Every passenger must carry their own valid documents. The Canada Border Services Agency says every international traveller, of any age, must carry acceptable identification when entering Canada, and it recommends a valid passport (CBSA travel documents). Our page on documents for entering Canada has the details.
- Security services. We are not a security company. The VIP security add-on is arranged alongside the booking, and chauffeurs work with a client's own team.
Chauffeur vs rideshare vs taxi: what each includes
For an evening arrival at Toronto Pearson heading to a Fallsview hotel:
| Mode | Door-to-door time | Cost note | Luggage | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rideshare | Wait for a match at the rideshare pickup, then direct | Surge pricing, set at request time | Depends on the car | Solo travellers with light bags |
| Taxi | Taxi stand queue, then direct | Airport taxi fare; confirm it at the stand | 2 – 3 bags typical | Travellers who land without a booking |
| Bus (FlixBus) | Bus from Pearson Terminal 1, then a local transfer | From $20.98 as of 2026 | Hold luggage | Budget solo travel |
| Driving a rental | Rental desk, then 1 h 30+ on the QEW | Rental, fuel, parking at the hotel | Your trunk | Travellers who need a car all week |
| Chauffeur | Waiting at the door or in arrivals, flight tracked | Fixed all-in fare via booker | By vehicle class | Families, late flights, car seats, groups |
Verdict: a solo traveller with one bag and a flexible evening can do well on the bus or a rideshare, and we say so. A chauffeur is worth it when the trip has things that go wrong without one: a delayed flight at night, two car seats, six suitcases, or a tired family who need the car waiting rather than a queue. Our guide to booking a limo and the chauffeur vs taxi vs rideshare guide go further.
Booking it with NiagaraFallsLimo.net in 3 steps
- Enter pickup and drop-off in the online booker. Any hotel, terminal, station, winery or address, plus the date, time and flight or train number.
- Choose your vehicle. Each class shows its fixed fare for your exact trip.
- Add the extras and pay. Passengers, bags, child seats, meet and greet, a wheelchair option or notes, then secure payment. The email confirmation lists everything you booked.
Who this matters to most
Individuals, especially business travellers, value the receipt that matches the quote and a car that follows their flight. Couples booking a special evening want to know nothing awkward will appear at the end. Families rely on the child seats being fitted and the vehicle being big enough for bags and strollers. Groups need one fixed figure that can be split fairly. Our page for individual travellers and the fleet page are good next stops.
Frequently asked questions
Are bridge tolls included in a cross-border limo booking?
On a NiagaraFallsLimo.net booking, the fare shown in the booker is all-in for the trip you entered, so you do not pay a toll at the booth. For reference, NFBC charges passenger cars US$6.00 or CA$8.50 entering Canada as of 2026, and there is no toll entering the US.
Does the chauffeur wait if my flight is delayed?
Yes. Airport pickups are flight tracked, so the pickup follows the actual arrival time rather than the scheduled one. Enter the flight number when you book. For delays caused by other things, such as a very long customs queue, contact the reservations desk.
Is meet and greet included?
Meet and greet is an option in the booker. When you add it, the chauffeur waits inside arrivals with a name board and walks you to the car. Without it, you meet the car at the airport's designated pickup area.
Are child car seats extra?
Child, toddler and booster seats are options you select in the booker, and they appear in the fixed fare before you pay. Note each child's age and rough weight so the right seat is installed before the car arrives.
Is the gratuity included in the fare?
Check the fare details in the booker and your confirmation. Customs differ by country, so we explain them in our post on gratuity for Niagara chauffeur service.
Can I bring my own wine into the car?
You can carry sealed bottles, for example from a winery, packed away in the vehicle, but nobody may open or drink them on board. Niagara Region's by-law forbids a licensed driver to permit alcohol consumption, and Ontario law requires liquor in a vehicle to be unopened or packed away.
